    Being a bassist as well, when I picked up the mandolin, I started to play some of the bass lines I played, just to familiarize myself with the fingerboard. This knowledge is invaluable.

    A lot of talking. So do you play the arpeggio for the the next chord “G’. So you would play G, B, D? you don’t make that clear what so ever. Stop talking and just play the notes.
