- This video shows how and what we feed our daphnia cultures. Daphnia is an excellent live food to feed to your tropical fish. Young discus fish like it a lot. Be careful not to overfeed your daphnia culture. Doing so can cause all the daphnia to die. It's a good idea to have 2 different cultures going at the same time, in case 1 culture crashes and dies.
