@@Keg-King it really helped me in my buying decision, I already have a 2.6kg CO2 for my Sodastream and waned a way to connect to a mini keg rather than using the bulbs and have more control over the pressure. Ordered from you last night, cant wait to receive it.

Regulator wont shut off when turned fully out. Did I wind the regulator in too far?

I've just had the exact same problem

Could be that if you cranked the bonnet down onto the diaphragm seat, you'll need to release pressure by turning off the cylinder's valve, then turn the bonnet on the regulator counter-clockwise until it's loose. Then pull the PRV between the gauges.

Hi, thanks for the video. Unfortunately when I pulled the pressure relief valve of my regulator to reduce the pressure. Beer came up through the gas line. Not sure how that happened because keg was almost empty and so the short dip tube wouldn't touch the beer. Anyway. Regardless since beer did enter my regulator - does that make the regulator unusable?. I purged the reg with CO2 immediatly through the purge valve and also the out gas line.

Hi Steven. You'll need to pull apart the reg and clean with ethanol to remove any beer that entered the housing.
If the keg was pressurised and the reg had been relieved of output pressure, and if you accidentally pushed the gas disconnect onto the liquid post of the keg and managed to depress the poppet, that's how you get the beer up into the gas line.
You can save yourself the headache of cleaning out a reg or having to purchase a new one by adding a check valve in-line on the regulator's output hose. They cost between 4 and 8 bucks and save you the cost of your reg.

Hi, Daniel. What is the volume of the balloon shown in the video? And what is the optimal one for a home brewer?

      G'day Вадим Шимчик,
The gas cylinder is a 2.6kg variety and is excellent for home use. It has enough gas to serve about 8 50 Litre kegs or about 20 19Litre ball lock kegs.

what happen if the knob of the regulator got loose? it mean that it's broken?

    • @Keg-King

Hi Alan. The knob or 'bonnet' of the regulator is designed to push down on the spring of the diaphragm assembly. The tighter it is turned clockwise, the more pressure the regulator will be distributing and the higher the low pressure gauge will be reading. If you loosen the bonnet anti-clockwise, you will be relieving pressure on the spring and reducing the pressure that is distributed from the regulator. Loosen the bonnet all the way and you can actually remove it from the regulator entirely.
