Beautiful Redline. Reminds me of mine in the 80s, don’t know what year it was. My ex-brother-in-law stole both, my Redline and my brother’s 1979 Mongoose and sold it for drugs. Thank you for bringing such Rad memories.
Nice build. 84 redline 600c with mag was my race beast. Loved the flex on the mags racing. People thought I was nuts. But nobody hit the first tabletop before me! Cool video.
I wish these awesome old school bikes weren’t so expensive my gosh it’d be a dream com true to have one to cruise on and just be proud of whooo wee awesome build bro love it 😊
Bike looks good and like you just bought it brand new from the shop, the hair spray reference had me LOL cause my mom would get mad when I'd take her hair spray and not put it back, it wasn't funny then but now I get a chuckle when I think about it.
Very tastefully done dude I seriously believe in the future chrome bike frames and BMX parts like this will be a hot commodity because of the tightening environmental regulations eventually coming world wide.
21.1 vs 22.2 quills, cool build! I always rode RL PL’s when I raced in the 80’s. I’ve built several since. I think I remember this 500 on eBay. Prices are insane these days. Hope you have a nice day, ty!
This is a very rad, very inspirational build. I happened upon most of one of these recently and am in the process of restoring it. Could you tell me exactly what size Skyway wheels and exact tire size you used? I think it looks perfect!
couple questions, but first: love the videos and the builds. you mention having some bikes for sale on the "website", is that the merch website or am i missing something? also, was gonna buy the army green shirt but the size measurements made me question if i should get a large, which i typically do. do these shirts run kinda big? silly questions, but i appreciate the help, wanna try and support a fellow vet
The pro neck stem is cool but after seeing the chrome stem you have on there i think a chrome hutch stem would kill this for sure,Bike looks amazing btw. May i suggest red and black checker board donuts to complement the decals more. I swear hair spray is the best solvent to put grips on because it dries quickly is you apply just the right amount. As soon as my suntour broken arrow seat clamp gets back from high polish and my 44t redline flight sprocket arrives im taking the back wheel off my RL20ii and polishing the stays and the forks. Maintenance.
Are any of these bikes for sale. I been looking for a 87 pro performer in day glo pink. The bike my brother had that passed away years ago. A few years back someone stole it out of my shed

In time you can make it happen! Plus there is so much re pop that it makes it even easier! Make it happen!
Make it happen
I am in the same boat would love to own again the bike that my brother that passed had. It was stolen a few years ago
I've never seen that stem adapter. Thanks for showing that. That open up a whole new world for my future builds.
Awesome 😎
This channel will be the one. Keep it up man
Thank you so much
Damn, what a clean looking RL 👌
Very nice, indeed. I road a 500a back in the day. Tweeted it out for flatland freestyle.
Very cool!
I love the small details you share and that you actually ride your builds.
I loved the blue accents. They were perfect 👍
💙👍

My mom was the same way lol
I remember a kid in my neighbor had a bike just like that, minus the accent colors. His friend had a chrome Diamondback. Nice looking build!
Thank you so much

Great build...I have one similar in work
Very cool
Remind me of the earli chrome redlins but different decals .
It’s a 1985
Great build man I want that bike! I used to dream of owning a RedLine but I was always on a Mongoose LOL ⚡😎👍
Thank you so much! They are great bikes

Beutiful bike!
🙌
For old school bikes stem should always be stamped 21.1

20” skyways with 20”x1.75 tire
I put nickels inside the grips so the handle bars don’t rip them
Love the vid man, enjoyed it sure the 80s synth music, and bike ride.
Thank you so much
Nice build 👍
Thank you
👍
Looks super!
Nice!!!!!!!!!

Hey you’re not supposed to be riding on the pier 😎

Amazing build!! Dumb question: did the 1985 500b come in just 1 size (18” top tube and 36” wheelbase)?
I wouldn’t think that they would do two different sizes

Sometimes I sell bikes on my website when I decide to sell some from the collection
I have a 500b and wondering what it’s worth.
Lol don't look at my rl 540 then it's built for function not glam.
Build them however you want. Its your bike
