I have 4 pairs of Lowas, Z6S GTX, Zephyr GTX 6in, Lowa Uplander GTX
Black and a pair of Desert Elites....theres a reason I keep buying them,
none have ever failed and they're packed full of features and quality.
The only boot company (military) Ive seen that competes is Danner (1
pair) and I guess my Zamberlan Mountain boots are similar quality.
If you're thinking of getting a pair, do it. They're great.

I’m with you on the lowas man. I have the Z8’s and the desert elites and I love them. I’m in the Canadian Military and they’re my go to boots. I want to get the Lowa Tibet’s, so that’s gonna be my next purchase 100%

Lowa is a german company. They produce in Germany. Good quality, no China product.

They chose the experimental crossduty soles instead of the tried and tested vibram soles and these do not work. Ultra slippy. Two years on and unhappy with the purchase

What's the difference between the model 8S and 8N?

The 8S is made with Split Leather Upper while the 8N is made with Nubuck leather upper.
