agreed. there are multiple questions surrounding each OOP, AI and every AWE you read about and collect. there are so many enduring mysteries pertaining not just to the world it's set in but also many of the characters. I would love to learn more. Why is the rubber duck following me around? What is the deal with the fridge and flamingo? Will the mannequins finally stop multiplying? Hopefully there will also be DLCs. the world-building in Control is amazing would love to spend more time in it, just like Jesse. Also! (Minor spoiler, but not really: when you finish the game - you find a note about how a television series is being considered based on this in-world radio program you sometimes tune into called "America Overnight", and how they are considering rebooting an old show called "Night Springs". Cough - Nightvale podcast fans? cough)

You know what, I really like how the board groups things as synonyms in it's dialogue that don't seem to correlate. E.g. gun/house: the gun appoints the director, Control is set in a place called the Oldest House if I recall correctly, so if you control the gun, you control the bureau, you control the Oldest House. It makes sense if you think about it, but on it's own it's just bizzare. 10/10

I love the idea that the unknown party she is talking to is the player! Considering that every player, upon seeing a gun on the floor will have the overwhelming compulsion to pick it up regardless of the surrounding crime scene, the theory holds water!

@@goodforbirds6809 absolutely incredible. One of my new top games of all time I think. Graphics are cutting edge and the art direction is truly unique among other games in the genre. Everything in the environment is interactable and destructible, and you quickly gain a bevy of telekinetic powers that make the combat a total joy. My only complaint is that I found the ending to be a little abrupt, but the story is still weird and unique and great. Won't go into more details to save you form spoilers but it really is one of those games where there is a weird detail in every corner and you feel how much love and unique vision was lavished on it.

YESSSS! My new favorite IP from beloved developer Remedy. Finished this, first game I got all the achievements for in years, SO good. It feels like they pulled something of a Dark Tower with The Oldest House/Federal Bureau of Control, many other game storylines are referenced/tied in when you explore the collectables. I just want more Control, DLCs, sequels, just really such a fun to game to play and world to inhabit.

Really enjoying Control so far, and it seems I stopped playing at the same point as this episode. So yay? I might have to turn the film grain off though, since it's seriously messing with my eyes.

The GOC (Global Occpult Coalition) in that it's a governmental organization, and the SCP (Secure, Contain, Protect) Foundation in that it specializes in containment and 'control' (no pun intended) of events, entities and information.
But I for one would watch an outside Xbox/xtra life in the office on Netflix. We could see the video mines, the omnipresent shipping containers which people seem to always gets trapped in, and the various "science" facilities. She could give us the official names for all of that.
