Brilliant news. The proper decision. These brave men fought and died for our freedoms. They'd be ashamed of this country now and what it's become.
Very true, and I don’t think we are anywhere need the end…..things are going to get much worse in this country!
@@Silverfoxmattthey will if we don’t do something about it soon what happening in France will be here soon
hear hear
“People who fought against the Nazis, who were the most hideously fucking racist people in history, would be ashamed that people are still upset by racism” is a wild fucking take, my guy
It was not a racial slur, it has become a racial slur, but it is ridiculous to declare Nigeria or Niger is not a country or a Nigerian mustn't be mentioned. It is becoming absurd! My father who fought in WW2 at the end of his life thought it wasn't worth it. He was right. This nation is a disgrace.
Personally i think losing the war would had been a better option to what we have turned into
@@carlwilson3482 well ironically the reason ‘progressives’ present as being so anti-semitic is because they tend to be anti-capitalist AND they’ve adopted the same trope as mid-century Germans that ‘Jewish people disproportionately control the capitalist system’.
Zero self awareness.
@@Nickel1147 Nothing to do with backbone, this country is lost as it is, what I'm saying is, losing the war might have been the better option to what we have turned into these days
@@Nickel1147 I do have a very good insight of past history by the way hence the reason i made that comment. Speaking German might have been the better option in the LONG run, after all, where living in a foriegn country now ain't we, have a look around our major citys and you can see why people are upset. over 300 languages are spoken in UK schools, whats that saying for the future and you say keep faith lol, ENJOY !!
@@Nickel1147 I'm old enough to remember the 60s and 70s and how it was then and if you think for one minute that you can change things for the better now, then your in for a shock to whats coming in the next few years. it's a good time to be old !!
Just a quick point. The name of Guy Gibsons dog was very common amongst people who had a black dog. The idea of it being a racist slur is just a recent concept. I don't think anybody regarded their beloved pet in any racist way at all.
We used have shoe polish in the 50s (and probably earlier) called n***** brown. Incidentally I do have a photo of the original grave, name and all.
I remember someone having a back Alsatian and calling it 'Enoch'.
The grave of the dog should not be moved and why are we bowing down to the immigrants if they don’t like it they can ask to be sent back where they came from who the hell do these people who are illegal think they are
They will destroy it trust me
More to the point who the does those do-gooders think they are, I dearly hope the torries get the message at the next election.
The problem is not the black immigrants who couldn't care less. It is well-meaning but deluded whites.
@@user-yn7kw3xm4u i showed this video to my dad and he had the same thought
The dog is a solider and should be remembered for giving his life to the country
No, the dog was not a soldier. It was a pet dog.
@@roddymcniven8734 he has a medal on his collar .... just because hes a dog doesn't mean hes less when hes given his life to serve
@@roddymcniven8734not in the usual sense, but imho rigger(N) served the wellbeing of his owner and the squadron... apart from the chaps who might have preferred cats.. ;)
He was the much loved pet of a serving officer, and well known to everyone who served with Guy Gibson, and others too. His name could never be offensive...he was loved.
@@susanleitch8649 so nicely put
It was a common name for a black dog before our "fantastic" multi culty society came to fruition. RIP N word, you've saved the commercial house price in this community, even in death he's still protecting the community.
Brilliant post mate.
The N word is alive and well, being sold to children buying almost every HipHop, Grime, and Trap record, although it's only allowed because black people say it to each other. As soon as a white person uses the word it's immediately racist ......
Removing that grave is as big a destruction of history as if it were vandalised, just as it was previously vandalised to make it more PC, I’m curious where the original headstone headed up.
What a s##t country we’re now living in, and so divided!
What is happening in the UK to move this so it's not upsetting immigrants I have never heard such ridiculous news. I'm pleased his remains remain in place
@@SimonLloydGuitar Yeet the council and find real men of integrity, honor, and courage.
It's the far left doing this complaining mostly
The dog wasn't named as a racial slur, the dog was named as a colour which is different. Negro is a colour in Spanish as is blanco, which means white in Spanish. The female name Blanca also means white. So then the coffee shop chain caffe Nero that means black coffee in Italian is also a slur? I don't think so.
EXACTLY!!
I bet if the dog happened to be white and he was called whitey would there be as much talk about it or would anyone even care. Do you think white people would even care no they wouldn't. Well if it gets damaged while the visitors are there, look no further.
Actually, I'm surprised the grave hasn't been desecrated already given its name. I'm just glad the planning committee protected the site. It's not about a dog. It's about protecting history from migrants who shouldn't be there to begin with.
I've pee'd between the bars multiple times, peeing directly on the stone.
@@OregonCrowSmall things entertain small minds.
Actually the grave was desecrated a couple of years ago... The higher ups in the RAF and MoD has the dog's name removed from the stone...
@@OregonCrow No you haven't you melt 😆
While I agree with the decision I ought to point out the dog isnt in the grave. Because people kept nicking bits of him for souvenirs he was moved. Unfortunately where he was moved too was forgotten. As for his name, people need to grow up. Its just history. RAF Scampton should never have been closed. Its part of a wider running down of this country and its armed forces.
So.... if the dog isn't actually there, and the headstone is a recent replacement and no longer has the dog's name on it, all this fuss is actually over an empty plot and an anonymous headstone?? In other words, b*gger all?
I and thousands of people signed the petition to stop the closure of RAF Scampton but it went ahead anyway, the memory of the brave men who fought and died for their country eroded for people who have no right to be here 😢
There should be an armed RAF guard at Ns grave 24/7 to protect it .🇬🇧
That's what the rock apes ( RAF Regiment) are paid to do, so it would be second nature for those guys to guard it.
God BLESS the Beasts who've worked alongside Mankind.
That is the right and most logic decision. They can't just wipe out all the tradition and freedom our fathers and grandfathers fought for.
Our so called leaders, traitors in my opinion are having a very good go at it & bit by bit ARE succeding. If you look at an ever growing part of the government now though, it's not their history, traditions, heritage or culture that they are trying to erase so no one should expect any different!
Fantastic news. I lived on the base for a good few years and guys did should not have been moved. One down to Sarah Carter for tirelessly fighting this as well as all the others. Well don’t guys ❤❤❤❤
I don't believe Albanians or any other illegal immigrant is going to look after it, but desecrate it or is that what the government is hoping for, so that they aren't the ones to be blamed because they are well and truly walking over the British people and their culture and history in the same way. This is an animal, who was grately loved by one of the most beloved British hero's, a representation of a generation that gave their life and youth for their country and should not be forgotten. How about Charles or William stepping in and saying something and helping, this is cultural slur and disgraceful
That gravestone doesn’t have the name of the dog on it…..airbrushing history again.
It did when I went on the Scampton tour
@@rockerjim8045 it was changed a few years ago to avoid ‘offending’ anyone….the image in the clip shows it
Happy to hear the dog gets to stay!! I've been hoping for this outcome :)
Immigrants will desecrate the dogs grave. You know they will.
..dig it up and screw it most likely ... !!!
They certainly will, and that’s when they’ll end up moving it, all in the plan…..who will complain when it’s to stop further damage.
Make the fence electrical to protect the grave
Ill be doing it first.
@@debbiecharron2767 connect it to a pylon do it properly
Another complete waste 🗑 😪 off public 💰 🤑 money leave the dog alone
Brilliant news leave our history where it belongs ✌️❤️🇬🇧
How many people faking outrage about the proposed exhumation and relocation realise that the RAF replaced the headstone a couple of years ago? Where was the fuss then? The current headstone is sanitised and doesn't show the name of the dog. The original gravestone is held by the RAF Museum, who will ensure it's never seen again.
I remember it and had my say about the disgrace it was to kneel to the mob instead of telling them to #sand up it.
@@sadwingsraging3044I too complained to the RAf at the time.. 😢
@@TachyonDriver feckless cowards the entire lot.
Thrilled about the decision!!!! Having said that, I am worried that if these migrants move there, that they will desecrate
Oooops his grave. I pray that it does become a Heritage Centre. That base is part of British History.
Yeet every one of them making the attempt. Problem solved.
Great News
FANTASTIC NEWS, I have a black Lab and i named him, guess what
Carlwilson: Chalky?
I have a black staffy and I call him niger, even my black friends love him..LOL
Daddy
As an irish person would they remove Cromwells statue from outside the house of commons if I said I was offended I think not
Of course not! Because you are white. You have no rights in your own country.
Next there be saying we got to dig up ww2 ex servicemen because the illegal immigrants will be offended
Yep; give it time.
Hands Off. Please Don't Tear Apart Our Memorials. This Is A British Historical Memorial. In factThe Whole RAF Base Is A Memorial To The Courage Of Young Men Defending Britain And The British People. 617 Squadron Of The RAF The Dambusters 🇬🇧
where They are from ....-Men are men . . . .and the Dogs are worried . . .!!!
Bloody amazing they wanted to remove (trigger)my ass .to fill the place full of TRIGGERS. Hero guy gibson must be turning in his grave .
It is very ironic that it’s a black dog!
Haha racial name thats comical...its a word used daily .. well depending on what colour your skin is which always strikes me as Bizarre
Justice for Nger. A part of British WWII history.
Fantastic we should be proud of the dog and guy Gibson it are history
Well dune folks 🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰
It's called respect witch this country has lost 😢😢
I did not want it moved, but now I'm scared they will trash his grave. They should not be anywhere near it.
I'm so disgusted they're even putting the men in there
People smash gravestones in churchyards. If these people were not moving in I would say leave it where it is but it's in danger of being wrecked.
🎉🎉🙏 at long last ,sanity!
Good to hear - definitely correct decision 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️🇦🇺
I care more about that dead dog than the illegal immigrants.
Amen by 1,000,000%
The dead dog (sounds like "Digger" if you have the flu), actually IS part of our heritage & culture.....
Meantime, the 'knife crime' Albanians & Bosnians are NOT & are in fact "SCUM" washed up on the shore
Do not mention the dog's name or you'll probably end up in jail!
The new residents won't care about the dog and might desecrate the grave so it should have been moved.
They don't even like us and only here for freebies off us which is costing us a fortune and will increase because more will arrive and the House of Lord's want them here too as they rejected the Rwanda deal.
Bill-B.N.P.
Let him Rest in Peace where he now resides, please?
Heres an idea keep the dog there and rejected the 2000 gimmigrants 😊😊
The moment we "classified" the dog's name we began to lose this country. Having to even discuss moving what is essentially a war grave to accommodate people who do not belong here was when we finally did lose it.
That dogs grave is more important than the ethnics complaning
I wonder what could they have against poor pup... hmmm.... well one needs to look into it... it cannot be that pup is unholy?
Well done the council ! Leave the dog in his final resting place. ❤ Edit : I've come back to say I've changed my mind. I think this superhero's grave should be moved to the nearest RAF airfield where he will be safe. I am sure he will be treated with love and respect if this happens. ❤️
Let's hope they don't smash the memorial.
People do in churchyards.
@@bill-2018 Your comment changed my mind - I didn't think of vandalism. Of course he must be safe
Okay, thanks for the reply.
@@maryearll3359 Okay, thanks for the reply.
Wonderful news !
Omg, good news for once. Brilliant news.👍
It's not the fault of the dog that it has an un_pc name. My dog which I did not name, also has an unfortunate name but she is lovely!
Different times. Do not disrespect the memory of the beast who gave his all.
Not a slur, it's a name that i can't mention here. Madness.
Those Rats will desecrate that grave the minute they find it
The dog's name is NOT a racial slur, unless you perceive it that way!
I wonder how Spanish speaking countries are getting on with their word for the colour Black!
Thankfully common sense prevails. Respect .
Maybe mobilize a 24/7 honour guard for the site once the “visitors” arrive?
These people make me sick
Protect our History and heritage at all cost.
Correct decision, it's really simple, we will not be erasing the history of our people (and their pets) from our own country. If that hurts your feelings you're in the wrong country, you should leave.
If " that word" is so offensive, then it should be completely banned. No-one, regardless of racial heritage or skin colour should be using it in conversation.
It was his name and removing his name is a slap in the face of each and every one of the 125,000 men that served in Bomber Command in the second world war, especially the 55,573 men that died. The fact that we're even having to discuss this is an absolute disgrace.
Good doggo.🥰
I really do wish they could just refer to the dog by its actual name 😂😂😂😂
Do not disturb please
Since the offensive name is commonly used today in rap and hip-hop music, place a few gold chains in his burial enclosure and call the issue closed.
He was Nice, Interesting, Guy Gibson. Exceptional, Resplendent.
Good!
So if the illigals trash the gave that will be fine will it
Bait. Training. Set a guard and yeet every one of them making the attempt. Man up RAF.😶
It's okay for Chris Rock to use the word multiple times in his act though. Or any rap artist.
Or Borat
Great news ...
Well done Britain First who campaigned for this. They got about 100, 000 signatures
The only instance of that name which the people voted unanimously to keep in the UK.
The dog with no name!
👏
desecration of a war grave stopped thank fuck!
Good news, but... what's with the unprofessionalism of the reporter standing there slovenly with his hand in his pocket???!!!
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss !!!!
I don't think it was named as a "racial slur" though.
You have to remember the time when people were not so precious. Even in the 60's as a small child I remember in a wool shop with my mother and a dark brown almost black wool being labelled "N####r brown"
I would imagine the wing commanders dog was not actually black but almost a Black brown and hence the name.
There's not a racial intent to everything !!
Same with dark brown cotton.
A very good decision.
❤❤❤😊
Good!! racial slur… give me a break!! History is history times were different then but we cannot erase history
The name of the dog isn’t and never was a racial slur.
the dog as more rights to be there than the illegal immigrants full stop
he was a good boy
Common sense at last.
Will someone tell me the name of the dog …even the reporter won’t say it 🤬🤬
What is wrong with the name!!! Once upon a time you could purchase many items with this name ie clothes, wool, etc what is racist about a colour is yellow off the chart next??????
It was not a racial slur, it was Latin for black because he was a Black Labrador. Can’t rewrite history because the name is the same of a racial slur.
My dad spent 4 years in a Japanese prison camp
if the dog is moved someone will lose him in transit because that's how nasty people are!
For now anyway. Let n....r rest in peace 🙏.
the dambuster raid mascot Labrador dog
They’d best encase this in bloody concrete then , just like they did the statues during the war
Those that are coming will destroy that i would put money on it
Well they’d better be prepared to protect that grave bodily then , if it’s ruined now it’s their fault
Good news.....commonsense prevails.....However
the grave could be desecrated by the new comers
as being highly offensive.....A worry with good reason.
You can't think both ways. One or the other.
Woof woof!
Why is it offensive to name the dog as it was given and known by ?
Say it.
brilliant, leave history alone, those bomber crews would turn in there graves ,if they could see whats happening in this country today
I am surprised they haven’t give in to these scummy barstools 😡
