honestly? I listen to metal basically my whole life, probably like 25-30 years now. I know almost every single great (not so much too) band out there in metal scene. I grew up on great bands like Venom, Twisted Sister, Iron Maiden, Ozzy etc, old school. Then I discovered my top bands like Manowar, Iced Earth, Nighwitsh... then I found new bands like Rough Silk, Theocracy, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Rebellion, Celesty etc etc etc... but after almost 30 years of listening almost only metal I heard for the first time Ayreon earlier this year. How is it possible? I don't know... I am ashamed... because since then I have heard everything, watched everything, including "side projects"... I added Arjen to my top 3... now top 4 (Manowar, Iced Earth, Nightwish). I love everything he does... can't wait for Transitus now... you are absolutely right... that is criminal

From Bruce perspective it was only a test-recording (or call it what you like, but I think you know what i mean ;) ) and he never gave Arjen his blessing to put this on the album. Besides, as Damian Wilson said during his concert with Star One (Arjens other band), originally he was the one who sang this song, but after Bruce test-recording Arjen decided to put this version on the album. Bruce wasn't happy about it, so he choose not to collaborate with Arjen in the future.
