Awesome! I did something similar for my craft show!!! ❤😊 thank you for mentioning your pricing … I was on the fence about what to charge. Good luck at your show!!!
Great minds think alike! I will make a monetization update video early next month to talk about the two shows and my pricing in depth along with how I'm managing on YT & Affiliate commissions for anyone interested.
I really like this design. Good idea I never have cut cardboard. Always afraid it was going to catch on fire. What settings and speed do you use thanks. Newbie
@@raywatts3595 The lasers I have worked with are 10w or 12w so for a 5.5w I would try maybe 500mm/m and 100% power see how that works on a simple small square and maybe adjust the speed up or down from there.
For my 12w Creality I test on Cardboard cutting at 500mm speed and 100% power. You may need to adjust these for your specific laser. Cardboard is very easy to cut and I hope to start cutting cardstock images soon as I saw someone who had beautiful photos laser cut at my last craft show and it's definitely something I need to try.
I found out last year that it's NOT a good idea to put the year on the ornaments because if they don't sell you have too through them away. I had 15 I had to trash because they didn't sell. Just letting you know.
Great idea! Less waste, more product!
Thanks! Totally agree, I also like the fact that it cuts down on the time since I was under some pressure for getting products to the craft show.

I usually cut my cardboard at the same power as wood but just faster speed. What is the power of your laser?
@wilmerwoodworks 5.5

I only include year if the item is presold
Good to know. I only had about 6 ornaments that had the year on them. If they don't sell they will turn into gifts for friends and family.
