The mask has become a necessity for me, and I’ve put so many people on to the air dry cream ❤ The serum in a jar was beautiful, the leave in is nice, and the shine oil is light and silicone free🎉 I really hope they come up with a gel 🤞
I know but he asked for wash day that we chose the product she will used in the wash day, the comments with the most like it is what he use in the wash day. I know she filmed a lot of CurlSmith one brand wash day, but the comment with the most like asked for core strength shanpoo and conditioner and on shower styler fixer gel.
I'm obsessed with this line. I use air dry cream on days I want softer, loose waves and then add a gel or mousse after for days I want more hold/curl. JVN volumizing mousse is amazing but I only use on roots bc it def has grit and becomes too much on all of my hair. I wish this line had a gel - my guess is they are working on it. Love the conditioning mist, scalp oil too and serum too. The scent is the best ever and as you said, the metal and glass containers give it a high end look and they are much better for environment than plastic.
Would love for you to do a One Brand Wash Day with SEEN products. I love their Fragrance Free line of products for my silver wavy/curly hair. My hair has gotten healthier since using their products. No more yellowing, thus no purple shampoo needed and there is a significant improvement in my hair loss on washdays. No more itchy scalp or skin!!
I thought I was going to LOVE the air dry cream and it sounded perfect for my waves, but honestly, it did nothing for them and actually dried them out quite a bit....the opposite of what I thought a cream product would do. Also didn't find that it had any hold, despite the reviews. The JVN shine drops though? SO GOOD! The smell of both of these products is lovely, too!

I've never used hair oils because they always seem too heavy or greasy for my hair, no matter how "light" they're advertised as being. The shine drops truly are lightweight, even sheer, and give such a nice shine!
Could you show your current plopping and diffusing technique? I feel like it's been a while since we had an update. And the technique can have such a huge impact on washday results!
Thanks for trying out JVN! I knew you would like the slip! Air dry cream did the same for me plus frizz so I might try with hold product over it like u suggested. Also: wish you could do a remix series for how to mix and match stylers to work better in combos?
You used a buff. I honestly can’t use the buff either. Bonnets are hard too because I have a smaller head. I did find a bonnet that is adjustable that works, but I don’t even do that anymore. Also, I think I’ll have to try that shampoo out! My scalp gets super itchy, especially in the winter ( southern Idaho is super dry in the winter)
I have been so excited waiting for this OBWD!!! I'd love to see an updated diffusing routine video. I do the SCC method, and I organize my curl clumps with my brush like you do, but I struggle to get my hair to stay out of my face like yours does.
The JVN air dry cream is one of the worst products I've ever tried. My husband doesnt usually comment on my hair but on the day that I used the air dry cream he asked me why my hair was so frizzy. I had the same results the second time so that was it for me. I'd love to see you doing an Innersense one day brand wash day with their new strong hold foam.
i use a small tiny bit of the air dry cream on refresh days and it springs my waves back up! I have been eyeing that shampoo and conditioner and we are hair stat twins so I’m glad to see they work for you!
I was really happy with the JVN shampoo and conditioner and found the Air Dry Cream to be light weight, but not something that fits into my routine most of the time. It's definitely not something that holds up under humidity, but might be something I could use under hard hold gel when I need more moisture but don't want the weight of some other curl creams.
An idea for a wash day. AG Hair Care. Their new packaging is aluminum for small shampoos and conditioners an pouches for the litres. I like Liquid Effects for my gel with Recoil but your not using a cream. They have different masks for you to choose from.
Oh my gosh Courtney, I washed and styled my hair today and only used NYM curl cream. I was shocked how much natural curl I have. I washed with Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner. The only product I use was the Not You Mothers curl cream. Have you styled your hair without gel or mousse? I went from blow drying my hair straight to following you and defusing upside down, (for volume). Love your videos!
It's nice. You have such a loose curl pattern that you can get away with products without a strong hold. Their air dry cream was not a friend to me; it just left my hair poofy. I do, however, love their Shine drops.
My hair adores the JVN products. Hint: There is no need to use so much of the air dry cream. I have twice as much hair with using half the amount used in the video with excellent results.

My hair loves JVN Nurture shampoo and conditioner, but man, it hates the Air Dry Cream and the Instant Recovery Serum. Frizz City. Both of those products have glycerin very high on the ingredient list, but even in ‘glycerin-friendly’ dew points I frizz like crazy.
How do you go 4 days? I am a wavy that gets greasy but super tangly at night. I pineapple with a bun bc I can’t do bonnets. I can’t go more than 1 day without washing and when I do I am greasy, tangly, and itching! Oh well, I and my scalp will survive!

I would loved to see/know more about your efforts at sleep protection with shorter hair. I just cut mine, and my old tricks are not working as well.
To me JVN products smell like violet. So glad you finally tried the brand out! The air dry cream and shine drops are HGs for me.

I just chopped my hair too and just swoop it above my head so it lays behind me. I sleep on a satin pillowcase so that’s good enough.

4 days is the most I can go! Otherwise, it's usually less due to my scalp. It's gets angry if it's longer!
