The "mix between a tank and a motorcycle" is a Kettenkrad, it was really effective for resupply and recon missions, as it could traverse terrain which normal motorcycles couldn't. It also had a larger cargo capacity than a normal motorcycle.
if you'd like another sonic one-in-a-million shot, may i suggest tails flying his plane through the death star trench run? perhaps eggman as vader behind him?
How DARE you taint my beloved Star Wars as such, at least have the decency to suggest scenes from the prequels or sequels that no-one gives a shit about - like Sonic competing at the Boonta Eve classic podrace or Tails piloting his plane in an attack on the First Order - you leave my original trilogy alone damn you, it’s about all I have left after Disney ruined everything
@@TheGalantHamburgerVery funny. Hmm, they have those tiny R3X droids. You could have R3X as Tails' co-pilot. Throw a tiny shout out to classic Star Tours. Although these days you could do almost all of it via Lego.
Last pronunciations were spot on with the umlaut for high german. The Kettenrad (tracked bike) was a light artillery tractor and useful in offroad or snowy conditions. They are still used on some farms in Europe.
Now, as a Sonic nerd, I personally believe that if Sonic ran straight into a fleet of star destroyers, he’d go straight through like a bullet because he’s moving so fast, so there would be little collateral damage.
The third game in the Storybook Series, Sonic ends up in a dime novel with horrible historical accuracy, and has to help the US Marshals (played by Eggman and various robots) bring in The Wild Bunch (played by the Babylon Rogues). Either that or Shadow ends up as the protagonist, because guns.
That´s sick, would love to see more WW2 inspired builds from you! Maybe Tails dogfighting a few 109s? Also, 9/10, that last pronouciation was actually really good!
Been watching you for some time now and it's amazing how everything you create turns out so well. Those filaments... just so nice to look at. the paint job is always on point.
1:39 You simply dont understand the though process behind the Kettenkrad (Ketten Kraft Rad). It was intended as a mini Airborn artillery and transport Tracked vehicle. Sort of like Half of an Halftrack. Intended to be dropped from aircraft, able to cross every terrain, from a desert, to the mountains of Italy and pull the 3,7 cm Pak, 2 cm Flak or 7,5 cm Le.I.G.18 L/12. Something a Motorcycle cant do. And it was still very fast. There were also a bunch more rolls, like laying cables and stuff but anyway. There was also at least 2 Armored and Mg 15 armed Sicherungsfahrzeuge.
Funny enove, ther was 1 Kübelwagen (VW Typ 82) armed with an 2 cm Mg FF/M taken from an aircraft, made by the Luftwaffe and some other Heeres Repear shop had the great idea to put a whole 2 cm Flak 38 L/65 in Flaklafette on another Kübelwagen. Both look hilarious with quite high firepower.
im so strung along by this video i was assuming this was a shot from the movie recreated and from very start ive been battered by twist after twist im just barely keeping up 6:50 i have no words im simply in awe
For LED filaments I've been using the outer plastic of the skinny glow sticks that are worn as bangles. I just cut them in half and drain the liquid and the little glass viles. It's easier to kind of flick them out into a container.
I almost had a emotional breakdown because of the color choice of the sonders and Tank but your pronunciation of the Kübelwagen, which was really good (8/10) kept me calm for the Video 😂 Good Video as always 👍
man as a tank physicist and someone who studies vehicle protection and the damage munitions do you could have made this look so much cooler if you knew what you were doing
Got excited when I read ‘sonic’ … somehow was actually disappointed lol Golden opportunity missed to craft him in his ‘spin dash’ mode. Circular buzz saw of death, slicing through that armour. Keep up the good work!
"For the first time in his life, Sonic is devoid of humor.... For the first time in his life, Sonic truly understands the meaning of war...."
"War. War Never changes."
Doctor Sonic, not to be confused with Doctor Mario's Mean Bean Machine.

I would give the last Kübelwagen pronunciation a 9/10.

As a self-proclaimed expert on alternative dimensions, I approve color of those soldiers. Precise match to reality.
As a self-proclaimed expert on alternative dimensions, I do not approve of those colors. The Germans used a lot of hot pink in WW2.

Chunks of Sonic flying everywhere.
Hahahahahahaha
Man this is the Best comment
The last of your "Kübelwagen" was actually quite good. As a native speaker I would give you a 9.5/10.
I agree. The afford was made and the last pronunciation was a 9/10 at least
Bucket Truck.
würde ich auch sagen
Dem kann ich nur zustimmen :D

Seconded!

Tails nose-diving his plane into the pentagon
How about Tails dogfighting the Red Baron?
gotta say one of the Kübelwagens was pretty good 8/10
I think it was a 9/10
ja stimmt
da stimme ich zu

7:57 as an owner of one an a natural speaking German, the last two Kübelwagen are just right. 👌🏻🎉
You should put some videos of it on your channel.
Misread what you wrote and thought you said you owned a German lmao
Is "an" supposed to be "and"?
you own a german?
Could you imagine Sonic in the Wild Imaginary West?
That would be awesome.
To something of that similarity, there's a movie released back in 2012, if not 2011, called "Cowboys Vs Aliens".
Would the boxes that scatter monsters work on him?
in the archie comics he goes to the wild west a couple times
The third game in the Storybook Series, Sonic ends up in a dime novel with horrible historical accuracy, and has to help the US Marshals (played by Eggman and various robots) bring in The Wild Bunch (played by the Babylon Rogues).
Either that or Shadow ends up as the protagonist, because guns.
One of my favorite part of these videos is when the figures get chatty. Loved this so much!
This light beam technique contrasted with old timey miniatures would be awesome for alien lasers in a mid-XX century War of the Worlds type scenario
Honestly, if he hadn't said it was sonic, i wouldnt have known the difference.
1:42 absolutely love the kettenkrad
Girl's last tour? Cuz same
7:45 Not bad, the „wagen“ was basically perfect. Just the Ü in „Kübel“ needs some work, but Umlaute aren‘t easy, so for a first that was really good!
7/10 on the first attempt, but then the later ones also got the Umlaut better, so 8/10 on those
the last try of Kübelwagen was a solid 9/10
That´s sick, would love to see more WW2 inspired builds from you! Maybe Tails dogfighting a few 109s?
Also, 9/10, that last pronouciation was actually really good!
I now need a WWII Tails diorama in my life
Tails vs Snoopy.
@@Clone24awasn’t Snoopy WW1 with the Red Baron?
" WW2 soldiers who are being obliterated by Sonic the Hedgehog" that got me laughing. Also a nice diorama
Tank and WW2 stuff, I love it!
This is how WW2 would've been if the supersoldier serum Captain America got turned him to a speedster
That’d be a killer What If episode
I had a huge chuckle out of that intro with Sonic's ring sound over the spaceship destroying scene :D
Been watching you for some time now and it's amazing how everything you create turns out so well. Those filaments... just so nice to look at. the paint job is always on point.
Imagine getting a letter saying that your son was killed on the Western Front by Sonic the Hedgehog.
The last "Kübelwagen" was very accurate.
Your pronouncing was actually not bad. I would give it a 7/10 👍 much love from Germany🇩🇪

Was really good!
The "motorcycle tank hybride" was actualy a good offroad vechicle better the cars trucks and cheaper 😅
The tiger forgot to angle
Kübel Wagen ... Yes, the correct pronounciation was in there. From [7:50] onward sounded fine and the last one might have been the best.

Have to say this is my favorite video. it was the first one i saw, well before i saw the rotating dioramas.
The very last kübelwagen sounded like my grandpa, 9/10
One of the last attempts on the Kübelwagen was Spot on 👍
08:02 - the last tries were really good. The "Ü" was giving you a hard time but you got it then.
Ngl, an alternate history story where Sonic and friends end up on Earth during WW2 would be awesome to read.
Only 6 minutes and I’ve had to report 3 bots
The bots on UA-cam are getting out of hand
Same, I got a good few. Scroll down while watching everyone! Please help us stop them
Good that you reported them.
These bots are super annoying and just everywhere
Ya bro I been noticing a lot of them in like every comment now
Appreciate the effort but it won’t make any difference, they outnumber us now 😂
What an easy design for such a beautifull result !
"Sonic in the western front"
is something i never thought i'd hear in the same sentence

I love coming on here and seeing what new crazy idea you have come up with😁 I was playing sonic earlier, so very good timing with this vid😂
Wow! The light in the tank is fabulous!
0:10 that transition was sick damn
9/10 for the first "Kübelwagen"attempts, and 10/10 for the later ones, from this German.
Clean and easy to watch. Nicely done
Masterful work Boylei!
Silly tiger if they angled sonic would have bounced off 😂
I WANT TO SEE MORE CROSSOVERS. This was awesome.
the last "Kübelwagen" was solid. no complaints
This seems more like a Shadow move to me. The colour still works. Great video.
The intro with the two clips combined with 10/10, great work
Very cool. Love the Sonic lighting.
Great build, our favourite!
Sonic could just casually end both sides of any war in seconds
So fun. Love how the lights look❤
this channel's kitbashing is so inspirational to me, i regularly come here for more tricks

yay always a joy
1:50 genuinely one of the most "what in the name of Schnitzel were they smoking" vehicles ever made.
Apparently it was pretty fast, and it was widely used as a general utility and towing vehicle. Did pretty well in Russian mud.
Think a modern 4WD ATV.
Unsurprisingly, another banger.
Such a wacky build! Love it.
solid 8/10 for the last Kübelwagen
the last KübelWagen was a solid 9/10 but the two before that were a 8/10
For LED filaments I've been using the outer plastic of the skinny glow sticks that are worn as bangles. I just cut them in half and drain the liquid and the little glass viles. It's easier to kind of flick them out into a container.
An easy 9/10 on the Kübelwagen pronunciation. Same rating for the diorama, brilliant!
What a cool diorama. Novel idea and the execution is perfect
I almost had a emotional breakdown because of the color choice of the sonders and Tank but your pronunciation of the Kübelwagen, which was really good (8/10) kept me calm for the Video 😂 Good Video as always 👍
The last Kübelwagen try was 90% spot on. In general Umlauts are pronounced by pushing your tongue forward while saying the non-dotted version.
"oh no, look at me, im tumbling through the air" couldn't stop laughing 🤣
I'm from the runners part of the hobby, this is absolutely brilliant.
When you tried to say "Kübelwagen" mutiple times, the last one was near perfect!
Those four lasers behind the sliced tank are each of Sonic's limbs. That's dark, man.
Native German here - 9/10 - extra points for every LED filament in this video
the way he says it at 2:09 is too funny
I’ve been waiting for this man to make a sonic diaroma for 3 years, and I love it
ah, that intro was a beautiful escalation of narrative, very good
This is awesome. The streak reminds me of Yondu’s arrow
The last Kübelwagen was very good 9/10
Need to do more military dioramas. Next should be a plane
Just glad to see you used the Tiger I for this.
Great build!
Yep. Late Tiger tank would be dark yellow but that diorama is awesome xD

07:57 - Very nice "ü" on your both last "Kübelwagen" 👍
Another creative and excellent work, splendid diorama!!
Another fine Boylei build!
It doesn't even have to be a "joke piece" honestly it's pretty fkn cool if you imagine this as an alien invasion mid-war trope/scenario.
Got excited when I read ‘sonic’ … somehow was actually disappointed lol
Golden opportunity missed to craft him in his ‘spin dash’ mode. Circular buzz saw of death, slicing through that armour.
Keep up the good work!
Your pronunciation got better as you went along, it was pretty good by the end!
7:43 the the eight one sounded pretty good ish😅 9/10
As a Sonic expert, I can tell you that the sight of Sonic ramming into a bunch of Star Destroyers is basically the opening of Sonic Unleashed
That intro gave big star wars vibes especially the music
Ah yes, I remember all the movies showing sonic as the main figure on the battlefield
Great work 👍👍
that transmission got me HOOKED
