When I first heard this song, I had trouble sleeping for a week. Appreciate the truth here, but the lyrical delivery of it was emotionally brutal. A lot of-and I’d say most of-Tom’s music has a “truth” message, leaving people with much to consider. This one does too, however, with this song, it was the first time that Tom’s music left me feeling hopeless (last line is: “what you do will never matter because everything is mine). I don’t think Tom truly believes our circumstances as a collective people are hopeless; therefore, I think he intended this song to shock people out of their slumber. His song “sheeple” is loaded with truth as well, but calls everyday people out and encourages unity. Chorus of that song is: We can't be free (no!) Can't have peace 'til we're on the same team But y'all are sheep (oh!) Glued to screens, just part of the machine Y'all are sheeple, what do y'all believe? To all my sheeple, nothing's what it seems

Thanks for doing this one. I have been hearing about him for years, but I've never actually seen his videos/heard his music. When you started this one, my jaw dropped, and I had to go watch it in full (twice) before listening to the rest of your reaction. This is an amazing song and video. The creep factor is perfect, too. I love your reaction videos, too, and I think the long-form is great. Too many reactors just sit there and nod or gasp and then the second the song is over say "it's great" then that's it. This is much better, particularly for these types of songs (Oliver Anthony and Tom McDonald). So, I guess we won't be voting our way of this. Sigh.
This was the song that sparked my interest in Tom and took me down the rabbit hole as they say. I haven't regretted the time invested in consuming his and Nova's (his videographer, artist girlfriend) content and have HUGE respect for his raw talent, lyricism, messaging and delivery in either rap, rock or pop genres. He can only deliver his message by staying independent, which is why I support him with CD and merch purchases and sharing his content to everyone I know. There are more of us who agree with the state of the world than who disagree. Keep on keeping on. Dirty Money by Tom is a good one 😉 I don’t want to overwhelm you with a list. I think you’re good to see what jumps out at you via titles.
As for the two party system… I don’t know anyone who isn’t tired of that crap. They treat us like children. Every parent knows, do not give children a bunch of choices. Choose two things and then give them the choice from there… do you want this shirt, or this one. For the love of sanity, do not let them look at the closet and let them choose what they want to wear that day 😂
Do not apologize for the length of your videos. Most of us are here for the content. I watch the whole beginning. On future videos I may skip the intro and go straight to the song if i am not in the mood for the intro. This is your channel, your content. It can be as long as you feel is needed. Ignore those crying that its too long. Just like ignoring any haters in the comment. Because of the Topics Tom raps about, lots of pausing, and discussion is expected. Length of the video is not important to me.
Yoiu should definitely go further down the Tom Macdonald rabbit hole, but there are other independent artists with similar messages you should listen to, like Samson, Webby, Burden, Mesus, Adam Calhoun, Dax, Upchurch, Struggle Jennings. But I also like that the fact that you want to do more than music. There has been some good coverage lately on the Maui Massacre by a channel called Hustle Bitch that has some very interested information the mainstream won't cover, especially concerning the missing buses and missing children there.

Usually I don't comment on older videos . Although this is the first time I have seen your reactions. But on the chance you see this. I'm curious how you said Science is itself a religion. That they don't accept new information. I have herd arguments that start like that and lot of time they say this because they think Science is never consistent it always changes. But that is science things change because we learn new information and just because new info comes out doesn't always make the old info invalid. Example Look Einstein's theory of General Relativity It didn't make all of Newton work invalid it expanded it more. Newtons calculations got us to the moon and rovers on mars. Sorry didn't mean to go off on a tangent there. I just think if more people can just see science for what is. The search for truth. Because if look at pure Science there is no black, there is no white, there there is no left there is no right, there is just what the facts give us. Humanity will be better.

I'll hopefully be able to expand upon this for you in a future video. There are a number of reasons why I believe mainstream science to be more dogmatic than scientific.
