Thanks a lot for getting back with me on this , the air Compressor seems to work just fine is not suppose to kick in every time you start the vehicle , but my problem now is the from shocks the guy did not put them in correctly the coil spring is not lined up correctly
You need to check the codes in the glove box. If you decode it, it will tell you which suspension your Escalade is equipped with. Do that or take your vin number to the dealership and they’ll tell you.
You need to make sure they are not knock offs, I have 01 Denali and I’m looking for them and a lot of reviews say beware of repacking on Amazon sellers.
I did not have an issue with the front shocks, but I did have an issue with the rear. I discuss this at 6:33 in the video. You need to check for any disconnected wiring connectors.
It’s really best if you take your vin number to the dealership and get the part numbers. GM used many different shocks for these SUVs. The part number I used may not be what you need.

Is that truck brand new?
No. It’s a 2012 with almost 200,000 miles on it. It has been well maintained.
It wasn't clear on the invoice but what did you pay for the rears at home depot? I checked just now and they want $400 something.
It was $240 each for the rears and $180 each for the front. That’s what it was back when I made this video. Home Depot might not have the best price now, but the point is to get the correct part number and shop online to find the best price if you want to save money over buying from the dealership.
Hello , i had mines replaced today and the battery was disconnected completely now the compressor is no longer kicking in like it used to , it kicked in when first started after the job was done and few times after that and thats it , i disconnected the battery twice more already and no result ? What is you thoughts on this , thanks
I’d check the fuses and check the level sensors.
Thanks a lot for getting back with me on this , the air Compressor seems to work just fine is not suppose to kick in every time you start the vehicle , but my problem now is the from shocks the guy did not put them in correctly the coil spring is not lined up correctly
Will these fit on an 08 Escalade BASE sub-model with 4 wheel drive?
You need to check the codes in the glove box. If you decode it, it will tell you which suspension your Escalade is equipped with. Do that or take your vin number to the dealership and they’ll tell you.

Thank you for the quick response and that useful information.
No problem! For some reason GM used a lot of different shocks on these generation of trucks so it’s best to use the codes or vin. 👍🏽
@@WorkingWithWimberley
Yea, just like the rest of them, GM loves to "over-engineer" their products.
excellent thank you
You’re welcome! I’m glad the video helped!
Nice job.
Thanks!
these same shocks made by AC delco ( OEM ) are $250 on amazon : )
That’s a great price. 👍🏽👌🏽
You need to make sure they are not knock offs, I have 01 Denali and I’m looking for them and a lot of reviews say beware of repacking on Amazon sellers.
@@Impala1963 So pretty much for that AC telco price on Amazon it's a real good chance it's a knock off
delco my bad
Did the front struts now it says service suspension system??? Please help
I did not have an issue with the front shocks, but I did have an issue with the rear. I discuss this at 6:33 in the video. You need to check for any disconnected wiring connectors.
Thank you bro!! ✊🏽✊🏽
You’re welcome! I’m glad the video helped! 👌🏽👍🏽
Can you give me the part number for the front shocks
It’s really best if you take your vin number to the dealership and get the part numbers. GM used many different shocks for these SUVs. The part number I used may not be what you need.
Where are the rear shock replaced?
I don’t understand. I show how to replace the rear shocks in this video.
WorkingWithWimberley sorry I musta been doing, my bad.
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!1111111
Cool! I’m glad the video helped!
Since when home depot sale carpart man
They don’t keep car parts on the shelf, but you can order them from Home Depot and then pick them up at the store.
🤠
Thanks for the support bro!
That 6.2 sounds mean
Thanks! I agree. I was thinking about changing the exhaust, but it sounds great the way it is now.
