Honestly from an unbiased point of view i 100% see why dream was upset, i was honestly mad along with him. The choices that were made were very unlucky towards him, the fact they reset for techno and not for him?? and i read a few comments that made him seem way more toxic then he is, his friends even agreed it was unfaor. lets be honest everyone in this situation gets a little hot headed. but when he was thinking clearly again and realised his mistake and said high things about the people playing. That shows he isnr a bad person 💖

I was thinking the same thing. Literally the only difference between dream and the majority of the other players is he’s really competitive and the fanbases of the other people playing aren’t use to watching someone as competitive as dream, so as a result he seems like he’s a salty player but nah like thats just how he is and that’s how a lot of people who play much more competitive games. Literally go to any other game which is really competitive in the Esports and you’ll see how so much players have a much more competitive mentality comparable to that of dreams.
uhh Rob Yeah! i totally agree with you and what youve said, dream is super competitive because of his skill in Minecraft and really wanted to win, and the choices that held him back were not his fault at all or something that was in his hands to ignore and move on. Plus there are so many worser people online who don’t apologise or realise they over reacted, people are just being introduced to the competive side of gameplay with dream
I agree with everything you say, but battle box was lagging for most of the teams, not just techno so I think they did the right thing even if it did cost them their lead
Elliott Bathwater exactly it was lagging for everyone, and resetting the game didint change that it didn’t even help anything just reset the scores and brought back two players who died for stupid reasons which were their own fault. Resetting the game of battle box was total bs, and I completely understand why he was angry

I feel like most of the people hating on Dream didn't watch until the end of the stream. He's literally praising the people that he was supposed salty about. It's called trash talk. That's what happens in competitive games. People are acting like he's the most toxic person ever when in reality he just likes competition and is working his feelings out through rants. Kinda dumb watching everyone act like he's the worst person on the planet for a couple of negative rants.
Exactly, people needs to recognise this. It's not like most of them won't feel the same way if that ever happened, heck some maybe even worse. He needed to vent his anger in order to calm down, to rationalise, it kinda sucks that no one sees that.
Yes, he was being salty, but who wouldn't be? The chance to win was taken away from you twice. But even so, he had complimented them, despite being third place. This is all normal in competition. So I don't know why people would act like it isn't. He's reaction was expected, although a bit more salty- and I'm proud of him for moving on after.

tbh, I never really thought of dream being childish and a sore loser or anything. When I saw how this championship was rigged and kinda unfair, I really feel like Dream's rants and his points are valid. Dream really just likes being very competitive and very fair. He sees something that is rigged, he has to rant it out because it isn't fair for him cuz he believes that competitions should be fair and square. And huge respect to him of how he apologised at the end of the stream... It's just a shame how people saw him as a toxic loser. However, I view him as a professional and mature player. Mad respect for him. But after all the unfair actions from the admins, I just feel sympathetic towards Dream's team, such a pity how their vibes went from crazy to depressed and monotonous.... feels bad man having to see them like this

The fact that it's been six tournaments without any problems is amazing. Compare that to Minecraft Monday which had at least one problem every week. There was bound to be some kind of mess up eventually but you learn from those. Noxcrew is so amazing and doesn't deserve any hate

Yes, I agree, but they screwed up. To have something break and force a delay is one thing, but they were inconsistent and screwed the dream team over because of it. Mistakes are okay, but I think this is just unacceptable.

well agreed with you my friend! they took a lot of effort into each championship and they don't even get payed for any of it. i very much respect them for what good they've done. but i gotta say; i don't typically hate a person, but it will always reach a point that you're gonna be pissed (angry, ect.) at them.

There's something called "emotions", Dream wasn't even playing for fun in the last hour he just wanted it to end. He was passionate about winning though in the beginning.
Also the admins could've restarted, but they didn't want to restart the whole server again like how they did earlier so they just really said "deal with it" which wasn't a smart decision honestly
Let's say you have an exam tomorrow and suddenly your parents had a fight. Would you be studying as hard before the incident or would you become sad and mad? Even if you couldn't do anything about it, your feelings will play a huge role. That's kinda what happened to Dream, he got too triggered and salty he didn't even want to play anymore

If it had gone as planned with zero reset im sure he wouldn’t have cared if he lost. Arneh i think after a while the organisers kinda mess up with the teams to make it more “fair” e.g. a full squad of really good players have obviously more chance of winning a lot of games or just keep winning. so to make it more “fair” and give others a chance of winning the split up the good teams and give good players such as Techno “bad” teammates or inexperienced teammates to “even it out”. that’s why we usually see techno with different teammates almost everytime, he’s just too good i guess lmao
Yeah,, I saw what happened on the orange ocelots and the dude who was in charge of the tnt placed it down and killed his own team in battle box... the dead players werent a glitch of the game, its their own players fault and they shouldn’t be respawned that round and learn to deal with the consequences. It’s not something to joke around about and pretending to be innocent doesn’t help either :/ ( im speaking about technoblades team btw)

Okay so, here's what I think about the situation.
Yes, Dream was being a little too salty about what happened. He wouldn't stop talking about it, and it was clear that it REALLY aggravated him.
On the other hand, this is a championship and two decisions were made that (intentionally or not) completely screwed him over. One of which was just plain unfair and went against the vote.
Summary: Dream shouldn't have been so salty, but I understand why he was frustrated.
The voting one was an accident though, it was later explained that switching gamemodes after the poll didn't show up correctly would have messed up the decision dome for the entire event
They literally didn't have a choice of what to do. Also, they do have an equal chance once they are in the game so it doesnt really matter. Dream actually said before they restarted battle box he didnt mind

Also it was even more uncomfortable from the fact that his teammates barely spoke the whole time dream was whining, like they were just going "yeah..." and then kept trying to move on

For people questioning how rocket spleef won the vote: there was 40 “audience members” that walked into the segments even when a % is out of 100 so they couldn’t accurately represent the % and they ended up even. Because of this, the game mechanics had a 50:50 chance of picking either game and just happened to pick rocket spleef. The admin wanted to change it but had wasted a lot of time already fixing mistakes and didn’t want a 5 hour long championship so decided it didn’t matter as much.
That's not true. This is based off a macro event, which means it's a series of commands to allow for the mini games. By unpowering one command, it would be stopped, meaning they could revote. Infact, it would've been far easier to repick mini games then to attempt to restart one mini game, so that's no excuse. So no, it wouldn't have taken them that long and secondly, hitw won by 2% meaning it wasnt even that close for it to have been a 50/50
Anthony Quesada there are only 40 players that get put on the game decision dome if they don’t walk 100% accurately. Also this isn’t a game with a series of command blocks laid out, it’s a real server using mods and coders.

It’s really interesting seeing them compete against each other when they each do completely different things. If you think about it, the Dream team and the hermits are total opposites, but they came together because of MCC.
Lena C there are also those moments, like when Dream specifically mentions Grian on the other teams, or last championship when the hermit team got wiped by Dream’s team, where you’re watching one and then the others just show up
i cant believe how much hate that came towards dream for this. he has a reason to be upset he’s not “salty” he takes time to train for these competitions and genuinely puts a lot of effort into winning them. he finally gets to team with his best friends and admins completely screwed him. i’d be upset too

Guys poor admin decisions doesn’t mean it was rigged towards Techno and even if it was don’t hate on him.
And Dream being salty is understandable. I personally choose to watch Techno live because Dream’s attitude was off putting but I still get it. He put a lot of work into preparing and seemed to feel like he could have won. Dream was invested and excited(also as a speed runner, and the content he normally makes, Dream is a bit of a try hard). Idk I just know personally I would have been a bit on edge if I was into something and shit went wrong. Looking back I’d think my annoyance was stupid but in the moment it is all I would think about.
And on the admin’s. What they do is great and mistakes happen but they should have stayed consistent. If they reset the game earlier because of a problem then they should have reset for the Twitter poll. But they are human and like everyone else don’t deserve any hate.

It's like the minute Dream emotions explode (like EVERY human beings would when built up to a certain extent) he is considered toxic. I honestly feel bad for the admins and anyone who is getting hate especially when these people put time into the things they love and want to do. Techno also had difficulty when battle box lag happens but he keeps it cool and even scold his teammate when the killing happens. At the spleef he also said that it's okay to change the game but apparently the admins don't have the power to change the game only reset since the game runs automatically using the code. Please dont send hate to dream because he's being salty (it's justified since it doesnt work to his favor), techno because he got the benefit, or the admins since they've been doing their best to solve the issues

The nerfing system is super awkward. Your essentially telling people you think they’re bad and that they’re on the team they’re on to slow down a player labelled better than them.

Techno's Elytra stopped working for a complete minute in Ace race, causing him to start from the last place.
Also the battle box should have been cancelled, it was too laggy for all players.

I’m ngl I watched CaptainSparklez POV first so when they restarted battlebox I kinda was glad but I can also understand where dream is coming from being frustrated that they restarted. At the end of the day he’s just a normal person with emotions like any of us, so it’s dumb to say he was being super salty. If I were in his position where I really wanted to get my friends to win and one thing caused it to not happen I’d be just as frustrated. It’s really just a matter of perspective.

For most of this, I understand why Dream was upset. For some though, it felt really uncomfortable and that he was being over competitive and kind of controlling over the team. Not only do I feel like he made Sylvee uncomfortable at times, I think Sapnap and George felt it too occasionally. Like, I understand he’s literally one of the best Minecraft players, but at the same time, it’s just a game at the end of the day and it’s just a gaming competition.
I love Dream and this is the first video I’ve ever seen him over competitive like this so I’m not mad about it, just pointing out what I noticed like most of the people in the comments.
You realize it’s not just a “gaming competition” right? He’s streaming to hundreds of thousands of viewers when he is trying to compete to his fullest. People are taking everything to heart. I understand the mentality of “it’s just a game” but for him it is his job, it’s not just a game to him.

You do realize that there are riot's happening because of said games right? Have you ever googled football riots? You can tryhard in a game. In the end it is a match where a better team wins not decided on luck. For example if rule 1 says: 1 match is parkour. And for some reason it isn't parkour I am allowed and I should complain about rules not being followed. There are rules for a reason even in friendly matches.

I absolutely love Dream, but something just feels off here. When Techno gets competitive it's funny but I felt a bit uncomfortable watching this. I'm worried about the next MCC bc I love them both but I don't want the dynamics to be anything like this vod. Techno usually has quite good dynamics with teammates. STRESS
He gets tilted easy if things don't go their way. With Techno I feel like it will be smooth sailing. Michaelmcchill and Buuren with good teams have performed at around 14-15th place and Dream/Techno are top 5 players. Dream choked because these mini games were new for them

It's more than "just Minecraft." It's literally the whole and official Minecraft Championships. He invested a ton of time into this thing, and having it seem rigged is stressful. That's like studying real hard for an assignment that is worth 25 percent of your grade, but your teacher fails you just because she doesn't like you. And then you fail the assignment, and you are understandably upset. If you're not then I don't know what to say. Then, the people around you are just like, "Take it easy, it's one grade," and ignore all your stressfulness. See the issue?
@@bugs5590 obviously, it's more than a tournament. dream gets way too much pressure put on him since he's considered a "minecraft god." we also can't act like dream wasn't at fault at all. he was salty and very negative. dream needs a better mindset when situations like these happen. is it understandable? yes. but he can improve his reactions. he needs to, tbh. the stream was bad to watch after it went downhill. and that's his job, so it's pretty important to be entertaining.
