A very regrettable part of our history. In this context I would like to write about an experience I had in Vancouver. I had gone to a Chinese restaurant there but strangely I felt the food tasted like Calcutta Chinese cuisine. So I asked the Chinese waiter if they had a cook from Calcutta. He said - we are all from Calcutta. When they found that I was from Calcutta the whole Chinese staff came to greet me and started to talk with me in Bengali. I could see they missed Calcutta.
