I was already a fan of your channel… but this episode made me a total FAN ! I also enjoyed learning new uses (aside from cooling) such as what benefits can come from blowing over dark damp places. Your videos rock.

@@BadfingerFan wow thank you for the compliment! We apologize if we have not made any new videos lately. We are just slowing it down because it was taking over our lives last year. We will try our best to make more soon.

Love your videos devil dog. Very important piece of prepping equipment for florida hurricane season .I like the dual power option. A good night sleep makes all the difference.

I love this fan and have used one now for 3 years. To save gasoline, I often drive with this fan and (usually) my air conditioning off (in Florida). I use the fan when I sleep; plus, it helps to keep my Ryobi batteries "conditioned" and then storing at 50% power. I like that the fan is low in profile and very stable.
I believe there is a power efficiency in running a fan off of an 18 volt battery v. running a 110 volt fan off of a solar generator. Use the Ryobi fan, not the solar generator. If you have a solar generator, use it for powering other things.

We usually run the AC a few hours before going to bed to cool the room, turn it off when we're about to sleep then use the fan with the 4ah battery all night. Saves us a lot of energy.

Great review, thank you! Can I suggest that you pay a little more attention to units in the future - it's 5.1 Watts, not just 5.1 I-dunnos. And dB, etc. Sure, we should be able to figure out what you are talking about but on the Kill-a-Watt for example, I dunno what you have the meter set to and therefore have to do process of elimination to determine what you are measuring.
