      Thanks Terry. Putting the 15ml in a litre spray bottle is well worth the money on it's own. Thanks Phil🙂👍

    Nicely done Phil, I think Desmond would need an awful lot of work, cos we are too busy using the motorhome to clean it ha ha. Take care and love to you both xx

      Hi Lindsay. If you are ever passing again, I will happily fit Desmond in. Juliet will make a cake while I am busy. We are both fine. Love to you and David. Phil🙂👍

    Hi Phil. Smashing video and what a great job you did on the caravan, especially on the roof - fantastic difference. Impressed by how well the Pro Shop cleaning materials worked. I've never used them before but seem worth a try. As regards the awning channel - we use white awning channel protector strip on both sides of van - it not only keeps the channels themselves clean, but also leads away the raindrops that usually bring down the dirt that ends up in the dreaded black streaks. Really found that a useful thing to do. Thanks for another helpful vid. Cheers. George and Trish.

      Hi T&G. It works very well in concentrated form for stubborn marks/staining. Yes we use awning protectors but my Mate hasn't bothered hence the awning rail mess. Thanks and I hope you are both well. Phil🙂👍

      Hmm I would use a plastic scraper to remove the moss first. Good luck it will take a while to complete. Thanks Phil

    Great video Phil, Pro-Shot stuff seems pretty impressive. Not used before as always used another popular brand. Might give it a try when I make my next purchase.

      Hi Mark. It left quite a shine on the van I did. The concentrated version I did works really well on stubborn green and black mould. Ive used all sorts over the years including I am guessing the same you. It's well worth trying. Wait till Part 3 on Sunday (Conclusion) Cheers Phil🙂👍

    Hi Phil, great video again and brilliant result. Have to disagree with you about the little awning brush though. You need to feed it into the awning rail as you would your awning, it's a great little tool. Enjoy your time ;))

      Thanks Stew. I think the awning brush I'd bought was a little too thick. I'll look for another. Thanks again. Phil 🙂

    I do the opposite to you and lower the front as my Swift caravan has a joint at the back with a raised trim that causes the water to pool if the back is lower. Something to take into account as construction varies between vans.

    Hi Phil,
    Great video as per.
    You are the 'go to place' for caravan information.
    I must admit when I see a grubby caravan on the road, I always wonder if it's like that on the outside what's the chance it's up to the neck inside ?

    Great job thanks for the video. I'm about to clean my caravan on a storage site. How did you find the washing down of the van, was it just a case of pouring buckets over it once you'd eased the green stuff off?

      Hi. I have a water tank and water pump. Not a pressure washer. Whale make a 12volt pump that fits an aqua roll. I did a video on it a few years ago. I hope this helps. Phil 🙂

    Impressed as I’ve just done mine without using 40 shot
    But how did you manage for the height and the reach into the middle of the roof?

      Hi Derek. Thanks for watching. I bought a great device which secures my ladder. I clean the roof in two halves. Here is a video I did a while ago on the slip stop. Worth a watch. Thanks Phil.🙂👍 ua-cam.com/video/Yi-m9RVLngc/v-deo.html

    TFR and low pressure would clean it up fine - no need for a multitude of cleaners. (exterior only)

    How did you not bend any body awning after testing a ladder fully on the eadge?? I would not chance anything like that, did you use pads or something?? Please let me know. But enjoyed video.😃😃

      Hi James. Good question. I have an attachment to my ladder that protects the awning rail. and I also add pipe insulation tubing as well. Check this out. Thanks Phil. 👍🙂ua-cam.com/video/Yi-m9RVLngc/v-deo.html

    Are there caravan ”car washes?”

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  26 днів тому

      Not that I am aware of. Some storage yards have gantries so you can wash the roofs. Not heard of any commercial ones certainly not where I live. Thanks Phil👍🙂

    Any concentrated caravan wash will remove black streaks.

    • @lostweekendscaravan
      @lostweekendscaravan  2 роки тому

      Yep Brian it will. I am not saying this a wonder cure but it got rid of the dried in mold and green a lot quicker that other products I have used. I Valet Caravans for a living and as a concentrate this works faster. Thanks Phil🙂👍

    A little disappointed as you don’t actually show the cleaning process. You go from extreme to clean with no in between.

      Hi Phillip. The main reason is the recording it. My Camera cost £1000 and I didn't want risk breaking it or getting water inside. I will be doing a few more videos about it this year. They may help. Thanks Phil👍🙂
