Expedition Galápagos: Yellowfin Tuna

These are the first yellowfin tuna that have been tagged with internal acoustic tags in the Galapagos Islands. This tagging will help the science team understand how the Galapagos Marine Reserve is contributing to their conservation. "There are a number of stressors that could easily alter Galapagos delicate balance and for the marine environment; fishing is by far the biggest threat.
