Love your vids. You do a awesome job man. I sworny you sound like Carl from sling blade! Love it
Thanks and hope you come back for more. I love that movie to be honest the old man and I always say stuff he says all the time. (GOT ANY MUSTARD ON THEM BISCUITS)
Nice video, I just got one on Kijiji , not knowing what im getting for $40 Can
Your video explained all. Ot was very dysty from previos owner driwaling, sending job. I cleaned it today. Cant wait to fire it up tomorrow. Aug 09 2024..
Let me know if it worked and if you have anymore questions I’ll be glad to help
Those are great heaters. I contemplated on that one or a smaller 80,000 BTU instead. In my 3 stall shop, 80,000 heats it fast and doesn't run very long. I put wheels and a handle on mine so I can roll it around too!
I have a 24x24 little shop and it’s insulated it runs maybe 10 mins when it 20 degrees and it will get 75 to 80 degrees in there quick I love it and well worth the money for sure.
@@embracetheoutdoors7232 I only run mine for a short time just to bring the shop temp up to 60 or so (plenty hot for me) and then I let my 220v electric ceiling heater maintain the temp all day from there. I don't think I used 5 gallons yet this season and we've had alot of below zero temps for highs here in Minnesota.
@@PainterD54 that’s a really good idea I kinda do that but I run a box fan I need to seal up the cracks in my garage it will stay warmer longer
@jakelawn5438 where you from
Heater looks like a nice one 👍
Thank you and it does a really good job
Turn your pump pressure down it runs cleaner no smell
Turn pump pressure down it runs clean no smell
@@ralphnolan3187what setting? What number?
I’m in Indiana too. Just brought one. Thx for the review.
Good to hear let me know what fuel and stuff you use and how you like it
Just bought same unit at Homedepot for $299.00. In Michigan. Hopefully it’s a good unit
Thank you for the video Landon. It is really noisy, is not it?
It’s actually not as loud as you think
I have the 50,000BTU variant and it heats up my 24x25 insulated 8.5ft ceiling garage to around 60-65° in about half an hour, I run hot when I work and usually sweat bullets doing minor tasks so 60° is plenty for me lol, I also have an industrial ceiling fan and run that as well to help push the heat back down, makes quite a difference.
Just when you run these, its highly advisable to crack open a door and put it by the door, carbon monoxide is a serious threat. I have a CO detector aswell for extra safety.
I have a bigger garage now and yeah I’ve always heard that I need a detector to and you wanna mount that kinda stuff low because co settles to the ground and I’m about to do a 3 year review on this heater it been a really good one
Good video man. Subscribed.
Question: is it safe to run the unit indoors like that without worrying about carbon monoxide? I figured you’d need to have ventilation.
I run it in my garage and this is my second year with it burns clean not at fumes I think it’s very safe garage some people crack a door but I don’t all in your preference probably be smart if you put a carbon monoxide alarm in there though and thanks for the support
Thanks!!! Getting one this weekend!
No problem I still use my weekly
I love the bloopers at the end.
Lol
Thanks
@@embracetheoutdoors7232 you’re welcome .
Great video! Thanks!
Anytime
I bought the contractor series. 125,000 btu/hr in 2013. Only thing that has "broke" on it. Fuel line. Still use it in the fall winter time. Pump diesel is good but aviation diesel is hot hot. Warning before using aviation fuel. Get ready to replace a fuel line or 2 lol its just diesel haha just wait you'll see.
Where u get it
@@embracetheoutdoors7232 Big R
Now it's a north 40 with sh*t product. But it's a mr. Heater. Figure out how it works an it never fails again. I miss my parents old heater from the 80s.
I have the same can I use white diesel. Kerosene is out of stock I can’t find???
You can use any diesel in them I’ve missed kerosene and diesel because kerosene burns cleaner I do that some times to burn the junk out of it
Pump diesel and ag diesel and the same thing. They add dye to the ag diesel so it’s not taxed. That’s why it’s cheaper. No difference in performance. I have the same heater and it works great for my garage.
Are you allowed to purchase egg diesel for something like this? I know you absolutely can’t put it in your car or you get in trouble. (ad, not egg… voice to text sucks and it won’t let me back up and edit that for some reason
Thanks for the video! What do you recommend for a 2.5 car garage with no insolation....a 140,00 or 80,000 BTU Mr Heater....asking since I just looked up the 140k and they run around $420 to 460 a pop.
I would do the cheaper one man mine heats up a 4 car garage in about 10 mins so 80,000 be plenty mine has hardly any insulation the new garage I have but yeah 80 should be plenty let me know if you have any more questions or reviews you wanna see thanks for stopping by
could any of these heaters be used with the garage door closed? do they produce any carbon monoxide ?
I run my close all the time and that’s how I grew up working on stuff is these heaters
@@embracetheoutdoors7232 thanks for the reply, 🤙🏽
I love the bloopers haha
Yeah I always got to do it I mess up alot
I have a mr heater industrial 125 thousand will it burn diesel fuel or just kerosene
Yeah pretty good brand and mine burns clean and I can change the pressure of the flame too
Saben por que parpadea una luz roja y se apaga constantemente??
I’m not sure I know that red light on me it’s about to fire up I don’t think mine flashes
They need too be tuned get the mixture right with vetalation use kerosene
Yeah I use ag diesel that’s been my favorite
Diesel heater will smell so bad you won’t want to run it. I returned mine and went with propane! No odor now and works great.
I’ve had it two years and no odor to me burns clean
If it has a odor then it's not adjusted right....
If your getting smoke or big red flames out of the front your getting way to much fuel to it I run mine on about 3psi gas a gauge on the back and flat head screw to adjust hope this helps
@embracetheoutdoors7232 but the unit tells you what to set it at. Mine says 5.5 and that's where it's at and it spits small flames out. No matter where I adjust it to it still does it. And the hole nose cone gets orange hot, I kinda think the spryer tip needs cleaned.
@51-FS I’ll have to check mine again maybe it’s 5 I thought it was 3
Rum them with lean mixture you will have less smoke and fumes
I run mine at 6psi what you run urs at
@@embracetheoutdoors7232 4 psi using diesel
Thanks bro 🙏
Thanks for stopping bye
What does the red light indicate when it flashes?
I’m not to sure on that portion of it sorry
Just bought one today. Look at Cutting Edge Engineering, his bloopers are to bad, I'm surprised he gets any work done.
Yesssir they work good
How many gallons does it burn an hour?
I’m not sure to be honest I can be in the shop for couple days before it even gets low it hold 7 gallon
How much?
It was about 364 at rural king
@@embracetheoutdoors7232 wow. I bet it was worth every dime though.
@@AFloodofSolaceJohnWhigham yeah it heats my garage well and fast
@@embracetheoutdoors7232 that’s what’s up. I will have to get one maybe next winter. We have only about 8 more weeks of chilly weather.
Cutie
Thanks you baby
