    Those are great heaters. I contemplated on that one or a smaller 80,000 BTU instead. In my 3 stall shop, 80,000 heats it fast and doesn't run very long. I put wheels and a handle on mine so I can roll it around too!

      I have a 24x24 little shop and it’s insulated it runs maybe 10 mins when it 20 degrees and it will get 75 to 80 degrees in there quick I love it and well worth the money for sure.

      @@embracetheoutdoors7232 I only run mine for a short time just to bring the shop temp up to 60 or so (plenty hot for me) and then I let my 220v electric ceiling heater maintain the temp all day from there. I don't think I used 5 gallons yet this season and we've had alot of below zero temps for highs here in Minnesota.

    I have the 50,000BTU variant and it heats up my 24x25 insulated 8.5ft ceiling garage to around 60-65° in about half an hour, I run hot when I work and usually sweat bullets doing minor tasks so 60° is plenty for me lol, I also have an industrial ceiling fan and run that as well to help push the heat back down, makes quite a difference.
    Just when you run these, its highly advisable to crack open a door and put it by the door, carbon monoxide is a serious threat. I have a CO detector aswell for extra safety.

    • @embracetheoutdoors7232
      @embracetheoutdoors7232  10 місяців тому +1

      I have a bigger garage now and yeah I’ve always heard that I need a detector to and you wanna mount that kinda stuff low because co settles to the ground and I’m about to do a 3 year review on this heater it been a really good one

    Good video man. Subscribed.
    Question: is it safe to run the unit indoors like that without worrying about carbon monoxide? I figured you’d need to have ventilation.

    • @embracetheoutdoors7232
      @embracetheoutdoors7232  Рік тому +1

      I run it in my garage and this is my second year with it burns clean not at fumes I think it’s very safe garage some people crack a door but I don’t all in your preference probably be smart if you put a carbon monoxide alarm in there though and thanks for the support

    I bought the contractor series. 125,000 btu/hr in 2013. Only thing that has "broke" on it. Fuel line. Still use it in the fall winter time. Pump diesel is good but aviation diesel is hot hot. Warning before using aviation fuel. Get ready to replace a fuel line or 2 lol its just diesel haha just wait you'll see.

    Pump diesel and ag diesel and the same thing. They add dye to the ag diesel so it’s not taxed. That’s why it’s cheaper. No difference in performance. I have the same heater and it works great for my garage.

    Thanks for the video! What do you recommend for a 2.5 car garage with no insolation....a 140,00 or 80,000 BTU Mr Heater....asking since I just looked up the 140k and they run around $420 to 460 a pop.

      If your getting smoke or big red flames out of the front your getting way to much fuel to it I run mine on about 3psi gas a gauge on the back and flat head screw to adjust hope this helps

    • @51-FS
      @51-FS 10 місяців тому +1

      @embracetheoutdoors7232 but the unit tells you what to set it at. Mine says 5.5 and that's where it's at and it spits small flames out. No matter where I adjust it to it still does it. And the hole nose cone gets orange hot, I kinda think the spryer tip needs cleaned.
