I don’t know about that. He officially is the creator but he has students. Those that will surpass him and make the dance far greater than when it was in his time. Of course though, I have great admiration. Enough that I would love to surpass him 😌
No my man you’re definitely WRONG!! He’s out of shape and has always been out of shape. A Professional Dancer is in tip top shape and I as well can say, “He’s No Competition with me and I am 60 and in shape a former Salsa and Hustle Champion 70’s & 80’s Kid.” However, as an instructor and choreographer that he is, his ❤& passion, I highly respect him, he’s the one that changed the origin of Salsa on 1 for 2 which is much complicated ( back & forth )and too many turns. There’s dancers as well out there way better dancer than him, and I am Puerto Rican where Salsa was already playing and New Yorkers want to say: ”it’s origins is from The Bronx.” Not True!! y Yo Soy Boricua 💯% and The Gran Combo orchestra have been playing in the island, world, and known before I was even born in 1963. Sending love and No Hate but Facts. HNY 2024 Peace & ❤👏🏼🙏🏼
Beautiful dancers. I enjoyed dancing in all these nightclubs back in the day being true new Yorker growing up right in the heart of Manhattan so I am grateful for living the life dancing, working and playing in the city that never sleeps, Empire State now called the big Apple.
Ahh mother's put in this world to create doubt in their kid's dreams. If we listened to our mom's we'd never go for it. My mother's favorite phrase was always, "what are you going to do that for?" Try encouraging your kids to move towards their passions and dreams and create strategies for how to accomplish those dreams instead of defeating their self confidence before they ever get off the ground.
