Eddie Torres is the most influential mambo dancer/teacher in the world. He paved the way for all on2 and on1 dancers who are able to put bread on their table. He pioneered and created a blueprint for today's mambo steps and developed technique. The importance of this documentary could not be overstated. Although, there are many dancers who have contributed to the development of Salsa/Mambo, none has done more for the dance than Eddie Torres. Salsa/Mambo simply would not be what it is today, nor would it be the global phenomenon that it is without his work. Always and Forever Eddie Torres the Mambo King, Thank you.

God Bless Tito Puente. He was a dancer himself so he understood the importance of the dancing as well as the music and the marriage between the two. Miss him. All his music was made for the dancer. RIP El Rey

Where would the Mombo/Salsa dance be without Eddie? Ask yourselves..

This opening is so so inspirational. So many artists struggle like this and it is pure passion and endurance and never giving up that pushes them to the other side. It's crazy to think what Salsa would be today without the influence of the most famous performer and instructor of our time. Latin dance and music is a lifeline that will never die and this man's tenacity and determination is the reason why. Every artist should hear this because this is the life an artist. Some artists never even get to experience the flight of their art until they are already dead an gone.

ET is so articulate when he speaks. That's what makes him a master instructor. When you can impart concepts clearly you can be a great teacher. I love this film. I will probably be back a few more or several times to see it again. Thank you Maestro! I miss TP

The scene with Tito Puente was epic. The passion flavor and excitement jumped off the screen. And when he said he didn't care what they were wearing it could be a bikini, hysterical lol. The idea was brilliant to have the groups represent the different instruments. ET such a visionary like all the greats. Wow just wow. This video history is gold. I love how TP came there to see. It reminded me of the fosse airplane scene in all that jazz.

The opening of this documentary is so profound. I had to come back and listen to it again. So many artists have experienced this and few press on to success. That opening is so deep and real. You can literally feel it and touch it.
