Dude I started watching back in April and I've been rewatching and rewatching and slowly getting my family to watch and rewatching with them, I just can't stop, both because it's so good, but also because I don't want to let it go. It's taught me so much and inspired me to make lifestyle changes, and months later I feel like a changed person, more confident, I'm just really grateful

Didn't watch it for years, never saw it until 2018. Basically, it's my favorite show besides it's always Sunny. Been added to the rotation of that and the office. Probably seen it all the way through 3 times already this year haha. Kinda changed me too. Good lessons without being peachy, and I love how they can make fun of themselves and be campy and even parody themselves and it's amazing.
tymark1 I know man, when I first got into this I’d say mid 2016 was the first time I watched it all the way through, I expected a kinda funny office thing with rick and morty humour but what I found was a cast of characters that I fell in love with, a score I loved (side note I feel the music in community is really underrated) and amazing writing, and I’m sorry to get cheesy/cringy in this but in the end, I think greendale is where we all belong.

I felt what this song represented when Abed was talking about TV. Somehow, through late episodes, budget cuts, executives not getting the point, cancellations, exchange of hands, visions being compromised, and characters leaving, Community managed to be what it always wanted to be. This song is joyful, effortless, and fun. It's not trying to defeat anyone or being proud or ashamed of itself for existing. It's comfort. It's a friend you've known so well, and for so long you just let it be with you, and it needs to be okay for it to have a bad day or phone in a day, and it needs to be okay for it to get on a boat with Levar Burton and never come back. This song makes me feel all of those things, to have enough genuine affection for someone to tolerate their shortcomings. I think we all desperately need the kind of comfort that Greendale represented in the show. It hurts my heart to know it isn't real but I also know that it's real to everyone that spent any amount of time on that magical campus.

I recently started watching Community and just today finished season 5, and to be frank I have never watched a comedy show that's just streets ahead. Brilliant and thankfully picked up for another season.
TheVandrell Unfortunately Season 6 is nowhere near as good as the former 5. But it still has it’s high notes. At least we got to experience it together. As a Community.

@@RhysGBiv they use a part of it or something very similar at the very start of the last episode. Not sure if they were legally allowed to use the song, maybe the rights to original music were owned by NBC? Though they got to re-use I'm as High as Hell in season 6, so I'm not sure why the original songs were never used again despite the composer staying on for all seasons.

I've watched this show at least 4-5 times straight through, it never gets old. The characters have almost become like real friends and this song just triggers all them feels. Thanks cast and crew, I'm gonna miss you.
A good show indeed, great character diversity and depth, growth along the seasons, special episodes like the paintball one it was al just incredible.

My favorite was the pillow vs blanket episode and the cowboy/star wars themed paintball one came very close.

Best song in the show. Really feels like Greendale is a family. I miss Chevy so much, he was like the crazy grandpa that we never listen to, who is kind of wierd but that everyone don't dare to admit that they love him. Anyway, this song is so sweet... as Shirley would say : "that's nice !"
Keviouk I think I understand now why Chevy was so mad (obviously I'm not letting him off the hook for what he said, but still…). Say what you will about season four, but at least the writers brought his character back into the realm of "actual human being" instead of "mean old caricature" with episodes like "Herstory of Dance" (which is as close as the show ever came to recreating the magic of season one). I'm sure as soon as Harmon came back, he told Chevy that Pierce would pick up where he left off, as an asshole.
But he was the best asshole of them all. That was the point for me. Everybody got their resolution at the end of the episodes and ended up as being 'sorta-nice' at the every least, but Pierce was a shit bag. And really really good at it. His ark in the Dungeons and Dragons episode proves this. His character definitely loses his initial niceness after the first season and the change remained unexplained for the most part (but they changed so many of the characters as they went along. Look at Britta, Look at Chang!). I still loved him to tears though, maybe more so BECAUSE he was so unsympathetic.
I just want everyone to know that the same guy who made this theme later went to work on Black Panther, The Mandalorian, The Book of Bobba-Fett and Oppenheimer.
Greendale really can take you places.
hi, i realize no one will see this, but i still want to say that i was lucky enough to watch all of community for the first time this year, and it exceeded all of my wildest expectations to say the very least. i can't find the words to explain how much i've fallen in love with this show. i love it so much that i still have to watch the last episode, but i just can't because i don't want to be able to say i've watched all of community. this song perfectly illustrates what this show has become to me. i think this show changed my life a little bit, it was exactly what i needed in this time of my life.

Watch the last episode. It’s so good. Don’t avoid the pain of letting things end. Appreciating every part of the show is what makes it special. Besides you won’t have seen it all until the movie comes out.
I watched the last season when it aired on Yahoo screens back in 2015. But like you I haven't watched the finale yet. I like the feeling that I still have one more episode of Community left to watch. I'll watch it once they officially announce the movie.

You know, nothing I write here can explain how I feel about Community. As much as I want it to be a Jeff Winger level inspiring speech, the only thing I feel like I can properly say is that even if some shows make me laugh more, or some make me cry more, there can’t be a replacement for Community. And I want to thank the Dean and the Study Group for that. The writers and directors, the actors and supporters, you made these people real. And for me, and everyone else, Greendale is where I belong. Thank you.

Just recently found the show and binged it in a few weeks. I'm not usually emotional but now whenever I hear this song... the waterworks come on real fast. Especially when the original crew was together... I felt at home. Everything felt okay when I was watching Community.

It's unbelievably soft and warm sound. Every time you're listening this song it makes you feel kinda protected and comfortable. All this together with coolest characters, coolest episodes and coolest "cool, cool,cool" creates coziest atmosphere in my heart. Thanks for the best show I've ever seen.

The fact that nothing lasts forever is what makes us savour the good things while they last and make us fight through the bad things. Community was near perfect, but nothing ever lasts forever. By rewatching the show, keeping in touch with friends we made because of the show and keep the fan base alive, community will last forever

No show gives me feels like this. I love this show these characters are like old friends. I just finished my second (unplanned) rewatch. A friend of mine never saw this show so I showed it to her. The pilot was amazing just like old friends again. When she was gone I figured it wouldn’t hurt watching one extra episode? And before you know it 2 months later I’m here finished The show again. And this might sound weird but my life is quite good and complete I almost never have any downsides But when community ends I feel a bit empty I want to watch the show again re-experience watching this for the first time. I miss it. And every time I watch community I feel empty again.

No matter how old I get, we will always have 6 wonderful years at Greendale to look back to.

I play this every time before I go to bed. It helps me reflect on everything that happened during the day and makes me feel like I learned some valuable lesson. What that lesson is at times can be unclear but at least I end my day with a smile.

This is the most calming song ever. I don't know is it because Community played it only in the most harmonic scenes or is it just the song, but I love how calming it is. Found this serie this year and got so attached to it. I wasn't really feeling that good in my first semester at university, new city, new school with not knowing anybody and the first months were rough, but this serie helped me through it. 83. I'm trying to forget GI Jeff. To be fair, that episode *was* a gift for another generation :P
***** I cannot appreciate all of the references to GI Jeff, so from my point of view it was my least favorite. While I did not have to get *all* the references to enjoy the jokes, as I did laugh at a handful of them, the entire episode just felt very off. A lot of the jokes that weren't references weren't even very funny. Nowadays I appreciate the character centered episodes more than the zany ones, which are nice in moderation. I mean, Jeff was the only true character there throughout the majority of the episode, and the story about him accepting his age felt like it was being force fed to us. GI Jeff just did not seem to have the same tone as the rest of the show or season, what I especially disliked about it was their abuse of Abed's fourth wall gimmick (this was also extorted way too often in the first part of the season finale). If Community returns on Hulu I hope to see less of the special episodes in general, not that I have anything wrong with a special episode here and there, I love them, GI Jeff just didn't do it for me.
***** I enjoyed GI Jeff, but Cooparative Polygraphy is quite possibly my favourite Community episode and one of my favourite episodes of anything in the history of tv.
Super Sy If it's any consolation, Harmon agrees with you guys about Season 5 and said it "got away from him" because he wasn't used to having just 13 episodes compared to the 20+ he got in the first three years. He did say he's going to learn from his mistakes and apply that learning to Season 6. Whether he agrees or not is another story, but he's going to try.
Season 4 isn't as bad as people say, there's some good episodes like the one when abed meets Kate (but then they never went back to her) and the puppet episode
I remember when I first heard this melody when I was taking a semester break from high school before starting college. Now i'm wrapping things up. What a fun 4 years.
We need a 10-hour version of this.
Listening to this even two months after the finale aired still feels like a punch to the heart. But in the best possible way.
