Hell yeah. It’s a travesty that this song wasn’t used in either of the Judge Dredd movies made so far.

Karl Urban finally gave us probably the most faithful presentation of Dredd and that he hasn’t been allowed a chance to reprise the role is a crime.
Karl Urban was such a good Dredd. No nonsense & hard hitting but with just enough personality & humanity to deliver appropriate justice at both ends of the spectrum.
I liked how he just rolled that 'flash-bang' device, like he was rolling a toy to a pet Cat.

Fucking perfect movie. Don't need a sequel , don't need a franchise. Everyone did their fucking job.
Judge Dredd is a comic book with many, MANY, issues all with different stories.
It is all ready a franchise.
Another movie and or TV show would be epic.

I was telling a friend about this song and movie who had never heard it or heard of the movie. I looked it up for him and saw this link. It is done so well with the movie clips and lyrics. It made it easy for me to explain the character of Judge Dredd, a name I currently use in a battle game for my character. Teammates asked me what is Judge Dredd. It shows my age I guess as I grew up with Anthrax as one of my all time favorite bands who in turn led me to the comic book series for Judge Dredd. Anthrax is such an underrated talented band. I saw them several times in concert when they were on major tours across the US and I am sure worldwide too. Thanks for the awesome video!

It actually made it into Judge Dredd in 2000 AD comic, they were playing it in a club. Dredd banned it as head banging is bad for your health!

Excellent work. This is a superb video for the song.
I'm old enough to remember when this album was a new release, and 'I am the Law' was my favourite Anthrax song. Of course, 2000AD was around then, still black and white, and we all loved Dredd. It was such a disappointment when the first Dredd film came out (although I did like the little ABC Warriors cameo!), but when this film came out, I was beside myself. Such perfection. After Stalones attempt to pull off Dredd, I didnt think it was possible to do it like he is in our imaginations, but I was wrong... Urban channelled the spirit of the guy! The best thing is the subtle nods to the aesthetics of the comic, with all the focus on the grimace under the helmen, and the badge reminding us 'he is the law' personified.
A film like this shows why films should be rated with two measures, a general one and one for fans of the genre. It may be a 3 1/2 * film for general movie-goers, but for Dredd fans, it's 5/5.

Just rewatched this film. My favorite thing is how Dredd is portrayed as this unstoppable force, almost Lovecraftian. When Judge Dredd has handed down a judgement, nothing can stop him. Nothing better gets that across than when MaMa watches in helpless disbelief as he chucks he man over the edge and he vanishes back into the smoke unscathed after she just obliterated an entire level and killed everyone except for the guy she was aiming for.

Just saw this film. Runs circles around the 1995 Stallone flick, which was way tamer by comparison. I never read the original comic but I'm sure this was very close to it's accuracy. Yes I know the song is more than 30 years old but it deserved a spot on the soundtrack, if the movie had one anyway.

I ll be honest, great video of an incredible song. But i do want one version with the Stallone film. The karl urban one is way to " dry". Yeah, i know the urban one is better. But Stallone's version had better designs and the abc robot was a plus

The only way I could improve on the movie is this. At the end, when Dredd and Anderson are about to breach Mama’s penthouse, when Dredd asks Anderson if she’s ready, and she says yeah. He should have said, “You look ready, Anderson.” I think once he should use her name once at the end instead of calling her Rookie the entire movie.
