2 questions and 1 tip for the new guy...... first the tip.... when pulling up to the house, I always align my reel with the back gate. super easy pull that way! JD9 does it drift alot? And why not use a regular lesco spray gun? Much easier to spray lawns with regular gun! thanks for the videos
Good points. We do align up the reel to the back gates, I actually go out of my way to teach that point haha. I do use a lesco spray gun and I actually love it, but when I'm spraying Pre-emmergent it requires more spray per gallon and its easier to adjust the gun rather then the machine. But I do love my lesco gun, less waste.
i never sprayed a pre emergent with a jdj-9 gun, thats alot of drift. i'd be worried around plants. is it just pre-emergent in the mix? I like your videos, thanks for sharing.
+Mckayboys1 The mix at first- March is Pre emergent -April Pre emergent & Fert- Then the rest of the year it's Fert & Weed Killer. Then Late Fall I will do a granular fertilizer. I don't spray for bugs & Insects yet. My spray division is fairly new. Thats cool about Buffalo Wild Wings! Where do you live now?
+AMP. Property Preservation P&P VLOG. Pre emergent. It is a herbicide that acts as a barrier for weeds. Also if this soaks into the soil it will cover weed seeds and when the seeds germinate and touch the barrier they die. Only time this really works is Early early spring, before a lot of weeds start growing.
Yeah, that's not how you spray a lawn
Lol, the jd9 short sleeves & poor drift management had me dead bro

That was probably double speed so 12ish minutes on the property for probably 5000 square feet. I can see how this work could be really profitable.
It's definitely my favorite thing to do! It's going to be my focus service to sell next season.
What is that he is applying and what's it for
