I keep telling people about that. I rode on a plane to Holland on business and sat next to a fellow who was also a privileged white South African. Great idea. Approach govt spending and performance like any other business, understand effectiveness of their operations and be extremely diligent with spending taxpayer money. Prioritize and re-allocate money to where it creates value for the people. If private businesses can outperform govt departments, then govt has no business spending money in those areas. People work so hard, and the govt just leeches off their money
Whenever government let private companies do the jobs they used to do, it always meant a loss for the taxpayer. Private companies are in it for the benefit of themselves or to make money for their investors!
