How to burn callory by metbolism
Ways to improve BMR and total calories for the day :
- Strength Training: When you do exercises like lifting weights, you build muscle. More muscle means your body burns more calories, even when you're just sitting around. This helps increase your BMR, which is the number of calories your body needs to function at rest.
- Minimal Caloric Deficit: To lose weight without slowing down your metabolism, don’t drastically cut your calories. Instead, try eating 300-500 fewer calories each day. This way, your body can still burn calories efficiently while you lose weight.
- Adequate Sleep: Getting 7-9 hours of good sleep each night is important because poor sleep can slow down your metabolism. When you sleep well, your body can keep burning calories at a healthy rate.
- Protein-Rich Foods: Eating foods high in protein, like chicken, fish, paneer, soy, lentils etc , helps burn more calories. This is because your body uses more energy to digest protein compared to fats or carbs.
- Incorporating NEAT Activities: Small, everyday movements like walking, cleaning, or gardening can add up to burn more calories. These activities don’t seem like much, but they help increase the number of calories you burn each day.
