No, he died from Yhwach's power. Did Pernida die in some kind of desert? No, he died after eating Nemu's body, which was developing too quickly and he couldn't stop the process and exploded. So what's the logic in thinking that Uryu would die that way since it wasn't like that with the others?

Haschwalth is surrounded by fire just like his fight with Bazz B I think Uryu's is hinting at his fight with Haschwalth, symbolised by the Quincy cross. I am really dumb though,so this is probably wrong.
