You can find these shoes @
www.everlast.co...
MY HAND SIZE FOR REFERENCE
9 1/4 " Wide from side of index finger to side of pinky finger
8" Tall from bottom of palm to top of middle finger
11" Closed Fist Circumference
Haha I just bought these without watching a review on them. I'm so glad it's all positive 😂
All good bro I think you’ll enjoy them
Woohoo cheers you legend! I got white/gold 👌🏾
@@bula9737there is no white/gold
I got these in black and gold. I'm a size 10 and I got these in 10. They fit perfect for me. Damn good shoes imo. They feel good, the quality was good. Some of the glue was visible but it wasn't a big deal. Also, like you said, they hyped up the "Michelin soles" but that shit was legit. Great traction. I looked it up and I think the traction pattern is EXACTLY like one of their motorcycle tires.
But yeah, damn good shoe
I agree, I've been waiting for someone to come out with a boxing shoe that could serve a dual-purpose as a training shoe as well. Typically boxing shoes have a thin sole which is great for footwork/ mobility/ feedback, but not so much in regards to training/ cushioning.
Black Friday 35% off sale on these right now on their website. I just bought the same exact color (grey/red) shoe. It looks awesome. I went with the pivt over the elite because they will be lighter, more manueverabililty with low top which I actually prefer (high top provides more ankle stability), looks more stylish to me and it was $10 cheaper. I also bought the Adidas box hog 4 (wonder steel) with the 50% off black friday sale. It should be quite interesting with their big differences.
Nice!
Great Review. Definitely thinking of getting these, but wanted to see a review beforehand.
Appreciate the feedback, hopefully it answered any questions about them you may have had.
Hey CSquared,
Will you be doing a review of the everlast elite high top boxing shoe as well? Btw great channel, keep up the good work!
I'm planning on eventually, thanks!
As you have said, the front is weirdly rigid, These shoes fucked up my big toe, are stable but turning the foot to transfer weight hurts bad. My big toe is blue 😂
Great review.
I've always wanted a pair of the Nike HYPER KO Shield, due to them being the first hybrid cross trainer + boxing shoe, but they seem to be out of production.
These Everlast PIVT (and the Elite Hi Top) shoes are probably based on the KO Shield, and they are great shoes.
Anyways, I notice you're wearing an Adams Boxing t-shirt, I reviewed a prototype model of his gloves on Sherdog, I highly recommend them.
I assume you have a pair on the way?
Thanks for the feedback, I actually dont have a pair of the Adams Boxing gloves on the way, but use his shoes during training, very comfortable.
I thought boxing shoes should have a thin flat sole and flexible? These seem like gym shoes with a thick raised sole.
Yes, true that traditional boxing shoes want a thinner sole which promotes footwork and feeling "grounded" while moving around the ring. These are basically a hybrid shoe, so yes it does have a thicker sole which some people prefer because they need extra cushioning. Also some people do circuit training and these shoes are better for impact resistance compared to regular boxing boots. I've seen several pro fighters wear these during fights, so they do a pretty good job for both purposes.
I think im going to return my Adidas HVC and get these. The Adidas feel cheap
Would you say you would have to size up or size down, I'm a size 10.5 and I don't know whether to get a size 10 or 11 since they don't do halves?
Nice review, do you think you could also do a review on the Elite high top everlast Michelin shoe?
Very nice looking shoe. I'd wear that out on the street it looks that nice. I'd love to try it in the ring though.
Hey man, I like these shoes as my workout shoe.
Do you know a nice cheal sturdy boot?
I saw the everlast strike grey on the internet. Could find a better on for workout
Good stuff.....besides working out then transitioning to the canvas do you think they would be suitable and comfortable enough for roadwork
Yes, I would just make sure to install a more cushioned insole to make it more comfortable for road work. But the overall fit, feel, and rubber outsole would be solid for roadwork.
So, one year later, how is the shoe now? The stichies are still strong? The sole from my box hog 1 went off after one and a half year and I had to glue it back to my shoe, and they still look durable.
Its still solid, the back heel has worn down a bit from overpronation, but the stitches are still good, the only real wear is on the sole from doing training in them. Oh and the laces are frayed.
Hey opinions on the Title boxing Mexican leather Cuatro the laces one
Ah yeah best intro music yeaeeeeeeee
Do Everlast have a day where they put a lot of products « on sale » ?
Yes, most major holidays they do sales.
Hey:) What do you think about a review of Everlast and PIQ Boxing sensor system?
Shoot me a DM, I'll be more than happy to do a review and share my thoughts
$89.99 LOL bro they're $200.00 AUD here in Australia -_-
Man, can you help me? I have an option to buy these at a really good price, but the sizing is confusing because I'm in Europe. Does it tell you the European size on these shoes?
Yes it does just use a conversion chart
are these shoes durable enough for running laps on pavement? because i have to run laps to warm up,i hate changing my shoes for all different exercises at my boxing camp, thank you very much for the video
I'd say they are durable enough to run in, although I still recommend running shoes for road work. These you could use sparingly for running, you just dont want to do it to the point that your wear out the sole prematurely.
csquaredboxing would these be fine running on the treadmill? Im just going to use it in my boxing gym, they have rubber mattings and treadmills there.
fezzard no they feel weird even with different insoles.
Which ones you like more, these or the high top ?
High top
Hey are they as light as the hyper kos and there isn’t an arch inside right also how do they compare to the high tops
A tad heavier than the KO's mainly due to the thicker sole, the arch is minimal and they feel almost the same as the high tops except the ankle support on the high tops is a little better.
csquaredboxing how would they do if I added orthotics in them
can’t decide between these or adams o pro model
these are £100 cheaper so id put that into consideration
Which ones better this or the high top ?
I prefer the high top
Hey bro!, an ask, comparting this to the Charlie Champions, the Charlie one are higher right? and less confortable.
What are Charlie champions?
would these be okay for heavy bag work and shadow boxing outside on cement slabs? really looking for a good shoe that wont get a worn out sole
Yes these would
I'm sure you've probably answered this somewhere but I'm lazy, would you day these are a better all purpose shoe than the high top version, or apples and oranges?
Apple oranges
@@csquaredboxing thanks mate👍🏻
Do these and the high tops have the same width toe box? Thanks carlo
Yes they do
So whats the price for these things?
Its on the link in the description box, $89
Are the sizes on these in us or UK?
Us
Also how light am I going to be on these compared to the High tops
How is the size they don't have half sizes, I'm a 9 1/2 don't know if I should get 9 or a 10.
livelife2015 that’s a great question and I had the same problem, I wear 10.5 and would recommend going a half size up. I ordered 10, and they were pretty snug and a little uncomfortable once my feet start to swell (from working out your body tends to swell your hands and feet, keep that in mind). I also have wide feet, especially on the front corners of my feet, so the sides of my feet would feel pinched. If you have normal feet, then 9 could work, but I’d say go with 10.
csquaredboxing Roger that thanks bro.
Are these good for wide feet??? 🤔
Yes
@@csquaredboxing thanks bro you're the man
