- The range was fairly crowded today, so please forgive the gunfire you hear in the background.
Shooting my new (old) Manurhin PP built in France in the 1950s. Manurhin procured the tooling from Walther post WW2 and built their own Model PP pistols on the Walther license from 1952 until 1986.
This pistol is incredibly soft shooting and comfortable to shoot despite it being straight blowback. With medium sized hands, the grip fits well and comfortably. - Наука та технологія
Just bought on 2 weeks ago, made about 1963, looks maybe a year old. A gem. Recommended!
Wow, very nice vid. Love the slow mo !! I was hesitating on getting a Walther PP in 7.65, you just convinced me of getting one, thank you for that. Greetings from France!
Thank you and Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your new handgun!
I have seen an old film of how this guns were made in France and the level of hand fitting and finish was superb, nice gun.
Best Walther PP video I’ve seen. Great shots!
Best Walther PP vid on UA-cam by far. Thanks for the no BS demo. Bought my daughter one!

... Dana Scully's pistol in almost all X-Files episodes of Season #1.
Uno dei migliori video mai visto sul sito!!! COMPLIMENTI!!! Bravo!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💥👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼😎
I have one exactly like that and it's a straight shooter.
In the slow mo the slide smacks against the frame pretty hard. You maybe need a new recoil spring.
excelente
I laik you walthar pp 32acp pistol gjb vidios sir 👍👍
It's been often said often that the recoil of the original .32 (7.65) version is tamer than the .380 (9mm Kurz) but they look fairly similar.
I never shot a .380 but I feel a tendency in one handed shooting that the pp wants to flip ( turn the barrel so to say) a little, it is a snappy recoil.
@@dmg4415 My question is, is it the .380 round or the blow back design\spring of the PP, PPK that makes it so snappy?
@@dicklongmire6836 I refer to my 7.65 PP, I do jot know if the weight of the slides differ, and if the spring differ, if not the .380 should be snappier and may reach to the slide stop. Is thee anyone out there with a original PP in both calibers, that may help us?
@@dmg4415 I have a new Kel-Tec P32 I've not shot since Covid-19. I had seen a few videos on youtube while researching it and one commented it was snappy. It's a supper small and light .32 so it will be interesting to shoot. I am also on the hunt for a .32 PP however really don't want to spend more than $550. That unfortunately leaves me with a half dozen Manurhin made ones on Gunbroker that are in badly worn condition with rust and the bluing worn off. Wonder how much it would cost to get one re-blued to factory condition?
@@dicklongmire6836 Hi, if the finish is bad, no problems, mine is 1943 civilian, that had a hard life in someones gunsafe, not much bluing left some pitting, I removed all bluing, nearly polished, after 15 years in my safe no rust, but i made by my self a cold bluing, with a german product, it went almost black, but it looks so good, so get Your hands on a shooter and do it by Your self, even if it is not so good or permanent as a hot blue it is way cheaper and You could touch it up when you need to, without sending it away, the Manhurin examples are as good as the german, the only distraction is that they tend to have the laynard ring, all of them. These from France was Swedish police issue until late 90s early 20s when they got SIG 225 for ordinary police, and the 226 for those in the response teams "Piketen" in sweden, then we did not have any SWAT teams, now there is in our 3 biggest towns, we are only 10 miilion people in total, slightly more than the whole NY area.
Any idea where to find clips for this Walther PP ??
I think you meant to say magazines
Slide bite seems to be a problem, even with your slim hands.
Where can I get mags for my PP in .32??
Mec gar makes them and they are top quaity.
What brand of ammo are you using?
Comprata da poco in cal 9x17...come fare x sapere la data di costruzione?
Hey. I'm a member of an indie game studio. May we use sounds from this video for our game?
Always love to see a .32acp pistol. By the way, if you are looking to have some different content that other channels haven't quite provided, a presentation on the Frommer Stop's field strip would fit the bill. There isn't any decent (imo) coverage on it in that regard. If you still have access to one that is; I wouldn't mind another silent presentation.
Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion, but there's another channel, GolemasterCZ, that has a very good fieldstrip video of the Frommer Stop that I highly recommend: ua-cam.com/video/akDz1CHT1-A/v-deo.html
This is the video I used to learn how to strip mine down. Also, don't worry, I still own both of them :) They're my absolute favorite .32 in my collection so they're not going anywhere.
I can still do the video if you think I ought to though.
@@PhoenixPhart Huh, must have missed that video (it's pretty good). Well maybe some more Frommer love sometime then? Have you ever tried to shoot the original loading specs for it?
Nope, modern factory .32 ACP run perfectly fine out of both Stops. Except for Aguila for some reason.
Old Turkish MKE Kırıkkale pistol
