Definitely good advice about the slides that's for sure, doesn't mean your out to cause problems but never know when trouble comes your way, personally I'd rather be able to defend myself without tripping up on loose shoes. If this kid had just kept his mouth shut he probably would have gotten a ride home from his mom. Once officers decide to go hands on with someone they made the decision that state issued bracelets are going on and there is no saying "time out I'll stop and behave now just let me go" that ain't happening. The whole I can't breathe screaming is so outta hand that cops have become deaf to it and people who actually can't breathe are the ones to suffer because people try to use it as a battle cry to get themselves out of handcuffs while spitting in the face of those who died in custody because a cop didn't believe that they couldn't breathe. I'm not trying to be accused of being a bootlicker or anything of the sort and not saying "ohh just comply comply comply" hell no, I'm just someone who believes in common sense, if you want to be treated with respect then give respect until it's no longer deserved giving them respect and always remember the 5th and keep the mouth shut! you can't talk your way out of bracelets but you sure as shit can talk your way into them.
