James Bond's wheels: Collecting the coolest
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лют 2025
- Doug Redenius' lifelong fascination with James Bond movies has led him to collect and restore dozens of vehicles used by the British secret agent and the bad guys he pursued, from tripped-out sportscars, submersibles and motorcycles, to planes, helicopters and paragliders. Correspondent Lee Cowan takes a spin through spy movie history, visiting with 007's vehicles, many of which are currently on display at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.

I loved this! What an interesting slice of movie history and pop culture!
So cool! I'm so glad this collection is being preserved and displayed!
Amazing!!! I hope that my son will remember me like this. A father's love, will always be remembered.
The Bond in Motion exhibit at the Spy Museum in DC is a lot of fun. Although admission to the museum plus Bond is about $41, unlike most DC museums which are free, it’s well worth the time and money.
I loved learning about this car collection. I hope there is a new Bond film in the near future.
One thing about it....
Anything you always remember is the opening scenes and soundtracks...
Goldfinger. By Shirley Bassett
Is and will always be my favorite..
I remember taking my girlfriend to see it...
She loved the song...
Great memories...
Thanks...
Bond...
James Bond..
👀....omg..
Love Roger Moore's submarine car!
FOR YOUR EYES DARLING
Great car. It was in "Spy Who Loved Me." Barbara Bach had a scene in the car with Moore. In this video, they show it in the background of one of the exhibits. I also saw it in another video on these cars, etc. Very streamlined looking.
I had that as a toy car that even had the shooting missiles. It would be deemed too dangerous to sell to kids now.
@@Styphon oh that's cool!
@@ekop1778 what a great song too!
As early as being a 7 year old kid I always wholeheartedly loved and adored watching all the James Bond 007 movies! I fantasized and dreamed of all the high tech spy gadgets they used and sometimes giving me inspirations and ideas to create one on my own! 007 have already gone through 7 different spy characters so I wonder what is going to be next!?🤔
Wow, Mr. Redenius's James Bond vehicle collection is AMAZING...🤩🤩🤩!!!
Wow!!!
Bucket List for sure!!!
DESDE ARGENTINA : UNA COLECCION ESPECTACULAR !!!
All those great James Bond stuff. Love it 😎😎🔥🔥
What an amazing collection. Really hope I get the opportunity to come stateside one time to see it!
A bonds dream collection
You guys at CBS do good stories.
Cool. Very cool!
THE NEW Q IS A JOKE
LOOKS LIKE A GEEK COMPARED TO DESLYN
HE WAS GOOD
Amazing
Beyond fiiiiing cool ! Love it
Of all the men who have played Bond, Pierce Brosnan by far was the handsomest of all! Roger Moore comes in second.
PIERCE WAS A JOKE
MOORE WAS THE FUNNY BOND
CONNERY WAS FAR BETTER
So glad for all their work. I need to see one of displays some day. Maybe you can come to Phoenix??
I can't understand how some of those vehicles just rotted away somewhere. What a waste!
It's great when they get preserved for generations to enjoy them
Luckily was watching CBS this morning quickly put my two other television on the same channel to triple my 007.
Amazing reporting luv this one 😅
Theres a museum here in Orlando that has a bond exhibit
I saw the Aston with the skis in a UK car museum in 1988, of course it could have been one of however many they used...
CONNERY WITH A CIG IN HIS MOUTH
REAL 007 HE WAS THE BEST
THE REST WERE IMITIATIONS
The Name is Bond..
wow
The filter on the CBS Sunday Morning camera when filming Jane Pauley, or the work done in post production is ridiculous and distracting. Aging is a blessing!
The BMW Z3 from Goldeneye, shown in the last scene of this video, is in the BMW Zentrum in Greenville, SC.
citroen 2cv from for your eyes only
❤
🍸 😎
Orlando Auto Museum (Dezerland) has them all.
You’ve literally just watched a video showing that’s not true 😂 …how can they have them all if the IFF and Bond in Motion have a lot of them …plus Dezer has quite a few replica’s
Griffin Museum of S&I is still too new. Always will be Chicago S&I to me
I say we cast Margot Robbie as Bond Girl/ James Bond’s (Henry Cavill) love interest, and probably last Lashana Lynch reprise her role as Nomi from No Time To Die.
Henry Cavill as the new James Bond
Margot Robbie as Freya Smith, Bond Girl
Lashana Lynch as Nomi
Cillian Murphy as Dr Aimé Zorin, the lead villain
David Dastmalchian as Corbin, the Villain and Dr Zorin’s henchman
Emily Blunt as Ava MoneyPenny
Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Q
with Idris Elba as M
with Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Felix Luther Bond, James’ Brother/ Sidekick
and Rachel Zegler as Autumn Bell, Felix’s love interest
Ed Sheeran & Taylor Swift both should write an original theme music with Jack Antonoff, and probably have Rachel Zegler sing it if she’s interested.
Or maybe ask Sia if she’s interested in writing a theme song for the film & have Zegler sing it.
What about Lana Del Rey writing an original Bond song for Rachel to sing and then sing her own version of it?
Hans Zimmer and Jack Antonoff compose the soundtrack
Produced By: Christopher McQuarrie p.g.a., Christopher Nolan p.g.a.
Emma Thomas p.g.a.,
Written By: Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Christopher McQuarrie & Christopher Nolan
Directed By: Christopher Nolan
I also wish that film was 3hrs long like Oppenheimer, and finally get a $2B Box Office film.
Production Company: New Line Cinema, Syncopy, Inc. Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, Eon Productions, Legendary Pictures
Distributed By: Universal Pictures & Warner Bros. Pictures
HOW DID A POSTAL WORKER MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY ALL THESE EXPENSIVE MOVIE VEHICLES? I THINK THE ASTON MARTIN WAS AT LEAST 4 MILL.
Old Bond movies are great compared to the newer bland Bond movies portrayed by a blonde actor who is having an identity crisis. He doesn't know whether he's Bourne, Rambo or in a Nolan's film.
Why? Why invest all the time and money just to let these vehicles rot.
Hey need my stuff back 😅
Elon owns the submarine car.
LANZEBY WAS A HORRIBLE BOND
HE DIDNT WANNA BE IN THE FILM HE SAID
LOVE CONNERYS CHOPPER
Why do you capitalize every letter on every reply? It doesn't make it any easier to read. In netiquette your basically yelling every sentence.
Amazing reporting luv this one 😅😊
