There is nothing self cooking in this. You have to attend it as well. I agree Efforts at some extent reduces but taste will be question. This product is a future thing prolly 10-15 yrs later.
@@beawarrior2806 just because you have to attend it, doesnt mean there is no self cooking. It is self cooking and very helpful to people living alone and working in T1 Cities. Instead of ordering food everyday, it is much better to order or buy ingredients. With WFH jobs, it is not difficult to attend it once in a while for 1 min, instead of staying and doing everything yourself while working. AI is weak in the product, can be improved, but handy recipes, tutorials and not too much cutting is helpful.

@@beawarrior2806 Yep but I have lived 1 and a half years in US and it's normalized now.... they have also included ai for customisation and it's the best option there because human services are very expensive
The only automation is in the ai model which saves max 5-6mins of cutting .eg cutting vegetables in thick slices except baki sab tho gimmick he

We need 45 minutes to make a paneer sabji. Not 30 min. Only tomato Puri takes 15-20 mins to get ready and then spices 5 min and paneer 10 - 15 min depending upon the temperature. Else it tastes raw.
Paneer u can reduce the cooking time by putting it in hot salted water for 10mins. First do this and then make the tomato puree and other things
@@akshathabhat9645 thanks for the suggestions but I make it without salt & sugar. Instead I add a bit of jaggery powered form & make a gravy then add tadaka of spices & lastly I add paneer. Bachelor life.
@@barryallen1100 interesting recipe. So u can save time if u soak paneer in hot water ( don't add salt if u don't want) and then add to your gravy and just boil it for 5mins to infuse in the flavours.
This is 40 minutes of unattended cooking. Which means no stirring, no burning, only 1 utensil for cleaning. You don't need to be present.
Thats why in 35 min still onions not cooked completely
Having a self cooking machine for indian cuisine is very difficult almost impossible even. The variety and complex nature of it is mind blowing if you actually think about.

I think there is no requirement of recipe demonstration using AI. Because recipes r easily available in UA-cam. But automatic food prep will be boomer in upcoming years. Due to job and time constraint
Yes I can cook by watching yt and it's it's n can do faster than this also this need some customisation to reduce time as well as we manually adjust flames so there's many things and many appliances do this simples things in their machines nowdays. It's just like washing machine for example

If this product is little cheaper than current value it's becomes a great market for hostel and outsider people
No one will eat paneer alone, so for roti you'll end up using gas. Similarly, to cook rice you'll need another same device which will cost you 20k more. So in an indian household where you cook 3-4 items normally everyday, you'll end up soending 60-80k on the device and still use gas.
Product needs repositioning.

I think, they can do a lot to make this device intelligent.
Connect this with quick commerce and add an option to self order all raw material for the recipe on the click of the button.
Secondly add an option to take final taste feedback on the spices and other ingredients on a scale of 0-5 for salt, oil etc and program it to adjust the recipes as per feedback.
And many such small features can easily be built in. Just need to think harder.

I personally think theee type of product can actually scaled in upcoming yrs instead of giving 2-3k every month to helper to cook for me these devices are good investment but it need to get some changes done like timing taste and as namita said about onion and after that even if they sale it at 35-40k it would be actually really reasonable for long time investment.

I wouldn't buy this and there are several reasons I don't think this is product for India...
If it was Japan or South korea it would have worked maybe but they already have such machines !!
• 1. It's takes more time than usual
• 2. You can only cook one dish at a time...
I mean what if I want to make more than 2-3 dishes ..
• 3. If the target audiance is those who don't know how to cook like youngsters college students then for them this product is way too pricy..
Like college students already face lots of debt, where would they get the money to buy a 15,000 product or even 9000...
Isse acha toh they can but a computer or phone at that price.
• 4. The rich or middle class won't buy it , because they can easily get house cook for less the cost, who can make multiple dishes, in different varieties, in different proportions
• 5. It shouldn't be implemented in commercial settings because then so many people will lose jobs and employment.
Plus in a country like India, labour is still cheaper than automation.
• 6. People who enjoy cooking and like the process of cooking also won't buy this .
• 7. There is lots of free apps and even AI is free to the public... U want personalised recipies, then u can get them for free on your devices.
8. Culture -
Indians still have a culture where we are NOT dependent on technology..
Roti makers failed in India.. why ? Because we actually like making them by hand.
Dishwashers are not popular in India. Why ? Because we actually like to wash our dishes by hand and think it's to big of an expensive to buy one ...
So why would I pay extra for that in a utensils ?
Our culture itself is very different!

I think this has a huge market in Europe and western countries, where majority of people eat out, don’t know how to cook and eat supermarket premade food. Most of the European I know have some kind of air fryer, slow cooker or Thermomix that costs way more than 20k and makes crappy food. I think design wise it’s really nice and sleek. So Europe main bik jayega aaram se. India main 5k per month main acha cook mil jata hai. I agree with Anupam that India is not ready for this yet.
I can bet, this is revolutionary product, sharks didn't able to imagine that, this is just a beginning product, in next 3 4 year fully automated kitchen can be come, where you put all the kitchen ingredients into its inbuilt fridge and it can from take to order to wash the plates

I like the product, many people cannot cook at home , so people end up at ordering outside all these food has made our health bad. Healthy options are limited to non existent. So I would rather buy something that I only have to add chopped stuff and sit back
