Hind - I can't tell you how wonderful it is in winter when the crowds are less and because of COVID restrictions, it makes it easier to travel with less congestion both on roads as well as in tourist areas...but I miss cafes and restaurants - so I have not had that part of experience yet... But the weather in Southern Coast is almost exactly what I'm used to in Southern California.

Much appreciated! I love how Mevlana Rumi plants gardens of words around the most basic Quranic texts..for me I love tracing the origin of his inspiration back into 3-4 words from Quran and seeing how he planted a full garden of flowers and trees around those words...what a gift we have to share!

Something drag you to Turkey just like a magic, i've been in Konya in summer 2019 its very intresitng place fill of positive power. i'm interested to know more about how does tourist life looks like now in Turkey in general. I believe its not like before the pandemic, but can't imagine what the tourist can do there ? . very nice video, can't wait to visit Konya again.

Magic is the KEY word with Turkey!!! I wished I could describe more about Konya and it will always have a special place in my heart. To answer your question on tourism...honestly I LOVE the fact that it has been so quiet and less congested! I get in and out easily and I Love the quiet, peacefulness... Restaurants are just now beginning to open (as of last week) and almost all museums are open except on Sundays for lockdown...I pray people still take precautions though...If you see most of my videos I am wearing a mask and only take it off when I absolutely know I am alone and far from others. Turkey awaits you...

" There is something more, there is something magical, there is something mystical "
I never saw someone, let him/her be from Turkey or from outside confess this fact, though they feel it.
I think no one knows the answer.
But whatever that thing is that even it keeps those who hate, dislike Turkey still somehow attached to her.
Maybe it is as one of the Turkeys most famous folk poets, Asik Veysel said in his famous poet, BLACK EARTH (KARA TOPRAK).
MY TRUE FRIEND IS THE BLACK EARTH.
Maybe this black earth gives people hope, energy, acceptance of the most unbearable.
Maybe it is this this feeling that even I am alone I am still living on my friend Black Earth.

The darker the soil, the richer the minerals...and I can taste it in the vegetables...Turkey is blessed in so many ways and I pray with all my heart that it stays protected... A couple of days ago I was driving between Antalya and Alanya and I stumbled upon the ancient city of SIDE...and it absolutely captivated me...so once again I must say part of the magic of Turkey is the "element of surprise" that it keeps offering me - every time I take a wrong turn - it turns out to be a wonderful surprise!

Currently I have to say Turkey. The most dangerous thing is when freeways are littered with trash and objects like Hone Depot orange buckets, ladders, and shopping carts! Here the roads, even though they are older, smaller are kept up immaculately. Bathrooms are a while other story. Gas station bathrooms are always spotless and elegant here..I know sounds crazy, but true. Generally I would say here is cleaner and maintenance is excellent.

It is true that he wrote in Farsi entirely, he was not Iranian. His father moved from Belh (around Semerkant in Afganistan) and he was merely a child when he arrived to Konya. So, of course we in Turkey reading his translated work. Iranians are lucky because he wrote in their language.
