I appreciate the love shown the beloved Sportster from you! Plus, you never once said it is a bike for girls! It definitely has a long 63 year history that helped beat back the British invasion of light fast bikes and kept Harley rocking in the black for many years. I wouldn't trade my 05, xl1200c, for anything else. I have a blast each and every time I ride her! Ride and stay safe up there in Tenn.!
It's such a fun bike! I even made the comment to my wife that I wouldn't mind taking this one home with me. I got nothin' but love for the Sporty! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel!
Hello Ty. Thank you for reviewing the Sportster 1200 Iron so well. I appreciate the ' normal guy, just going for a ride approach. I feel the Sportster line is underappreciated by many. I love them! I am 61 years old and riding since I was 9. Had 4 Harleys before too. Thinking about getting rid of our big bike and getting a 1200 Iron. Light, easy to handle, simple bike. Thanks again.
Believe it or not I was thinking the same thing the way it sounded..but as your mom back in my days of driving my 67 Mustang with the loud tail pipes I still like the sounds..
So true! That Sportster really changed my perspective of those motorcycles. I would gladly take one as a second bike next to my StreetGlide. Thank for you very much for watching!
Thanks man. I'm so glad you did! I really do appreciate your support and for watching the video!! My wife and I usually come out to Vegas a couple times a year and I'm hoping to make it back there soon. I go to Revolt Tattoos every time I'm there.
TY my pipes were so loud that people were complaining that they didn’t want too ride behind me anymore. So I got some quieter pipes. But still loud lol
Great video Ty, I absolutely love the look of Iron’s. never seen one in white though, looks good. I had my heart set on an Iron 883 initially, but found a 1200 custom xl and it’s been my ride ever since. They’re such great bikes and as you say, totally customisable. Mine accelerates pretty quickly as it has a full stage one set up, but I do keep scraping something in the corners
I was really impressed with the Iron 1200. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. Kinda wish I had one sitting in the garage next to my StreetGlide! Thanks for watching sir!!
Ty, great review. How tall are you? I’m 5’10” and concerned about being too cramped. Also, I thought the 1200 had mid-controls, no? I tried a Sport Glide w forward controls and did not like it. It put pressure on my butt/lower back and after 10 minutes I was uncomfortable. Based on your test drive do think you’d be comfortable after 2-3 hrs? Thanks!
Hi Jay! I'm 5'9" and I was very comfortable on that bike. After two or 3 hours I might start feeling a bit cramped up and I know my butt would be sore! :) The Sporty is a great bike and a lot of fun, but I think I'm just more used to my Street Glide for longer all day rides. Thanks for watching! I appreciate your time!
Sadly they are no longer going to be selling the sportster in the EU, don't think they can beat the regulations so I guess my Deluxe will have to do. Nice video Ty! Thanks
The 1200 has a lot more grunt than people think it will have. It’s a good bike, just still outdated. Love the blockhead motor in there but it’s time for a change. Bring on the 975 and give that little bike 100hp to compete with the scout.

Believe it or not I was thinking the same thing the way it sounded..but as your mom back in my days of driving my 67 Mustang with the loud tail pipes I still like the sounds..
I think I remember a baby blue Mustang when I was little.
@@TyFromTennessee the mustang was maroon but I had a Chevrolet Camaro that was powder blue. That's probably the one you remember.
Great review. Great bike. I never understood why sporties get a bad wrap. Great bikes. Great platform. Tons of room for customizations.

Great Review! Thats also the first Harley I've ridden. Very comfortable. I had to come check out your channel!

first time to the channel, that intro was cool! Love the sporty, been wanting a 2nd one for better highway cruising.
Thanks for stopping by! I really do appreciate that. That Sportster was a lot of fun. I really wish I could have taken that one home with me.
Great vid! Showing some Sporty love!
What a cool bike the Sportster is! I was super impressed! I can't wait to do it again soon! Thank you for watching sir!!
OK...see the GoPro Cameras now. LOL ignore that last comment where I asked. Nice ride and I agree, a windshield is really necessary! LOL
That Iron 1200 is such a good bike. I really wouldn't mind have it sitting next to my StreetGlide in the garage. Thank you for watching!!

Bunny King Hogs That’s a bummer but that Deluxe is a great bike. Thank you for watching!!
thumbs up shared great demo ride
Thank you sir. Very much appreciated! 😀
Awesome looking bike, Nice!!
It was great demo ride. Hopefully I"ll be able to ride it again before they sell it!

That's right! I was not expecting that bike to be as fast as it is. I have a newfound respect for the Iron 1200! Thanks for watching sir!!
Amazing ride enjoyu
Jrose Almendras Thanks for watching!
Thumbs up to you man good video the bike sounded great take care brother catch you later
Thank you MrG! I appreciate your time very much sir!
I wanna take a sporty out and about but I highly doubt I'd for properly on it, could just be all in my head though 😂
You should do it! It's a fun bike and worth the time just to see if it's right for you! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel!!
@@TyFromTennessee No problem, and I definitely will if/when I get the chance to 😂
Just subbed why not ride and review a new Softail Standard. Looks like a nice looking bike plus it's made to be upgraded if you want.
Ooooooo. Now that is a good idea! I'm going to suggest that to White Lightning and see if they have one in stock. Thanks man!!!
@@TyFromTennessee cool
I think the Badest sounding Harley-Davidson is the carbureted Evo...
This bike sounded awesome! Seriously man, the audio from the video didn't do it justice. It was mean sounding...
Not finished watching just wanted to be first to comment....
Bunny King Hogs Thanks for jumping in and watching. I very much appreciate that!!
Why would they bring back a look that memorializes AMF, the worst period in Harley History🥴
Not sure why Harley did that, but that bike sure was fun to ride. It think it's sold now, so some lucky guy or gal has it. Thanks for watching V T!!
