Mayday having her powers dampened by a chip by her mother and being in the future. Sounds like Nora West Alan (Xs) from Flash Season 5.
Can I be honest and I hope you read this. Someday in the future I plan on joining Marvel Comics and writing my own stories like alternate versions of superheroes and seeing this story idea of Mayday Parker is really interesting and honestly if I ever do join Marvel and get to write the story I'll make sure to give you credit for some of the ideas.
This Is GOOOOOLD but i will say that mj dampening maydays powers and her not knowing a lot about her father it sounds a bit like season 5 of the cw flash show with iris and nora

I think this takes away from what mayday is. She didn't become spider girl out of guilt she chose to be a hero to save her family. I get what you are doing but between the Iris and nora parallel from flash and missing the core of spidergirl I ain't feeling this
