It's only a couple of seconds early. Not worth worrying about. If you hadn't mentioned it, I'd just have thought it was a deliberate dramatic fast fade out lol
Excellent review and explanation. And I thought tuning a Floyd Rose was th nightmare. I had no idea! :)
@@calbrockocat8728 tuning a Floyd is a nightmare but only the first 23 times. After that, they're rock solid.
Nice explanation on the way the templates work and they do look to be a real asset to anyone that would need them. The weight relief template looks really good as well.

Yea those templates are killer You are right about the weight issue, I used to own 😂😂 a Solid rosewood Tele like George Harrison’s, it was a Beautiful guitar but it weighed a ton. Unfortunately I had to sell it 20yrs ago 😂😂 Thanks for the vids I can’t wait to see your next build vid.👍👍🎸🎹🎼👨🏻🦯👨🏻🦯

Great review Todd. I love the Floyd Rose system but because of the difficulties involved, I have never done any routing for one in a body. This system makes it look easy! I have always wanted to try the Kahler system but have been put off by reviews of ghe setup. Well, I haxve just retro fittet one to a guitar and wow! What a great system, the setup is so easy and it has turned out great. Just thought I would share that. But thanks for this review. God bless. And as you always say, peace and love.
I really like Kahler trems as well but they're harder to get than Floyd's and there aren't nearly as many options for them. I've been a Floyd player since the late 1980's and have really gotten so use to them it's hard to change. These templates will be a welcome addition to the shop. Thanks for the comment my friend.
Will be great to have template for bass, the classic one like p and j bass, rickenbacker and more will be just paradise
I've been told a bass template set will be available soon. These templates are the best I've seen anywhere.
@@SweetTGuitars something tells me Steve's templates are better than the ones i made out of leftover T111 siding, lmao.
@@yellowcat1310 probably but only slightly! MGW templates are great. As I said. I've got another set of them on the way. I've got several of them already as you've seen in my videos. I was lucky enough to find out about them early. Steve's a great guy too. ✌️

Not quite. My next build is a Tremoline FT36 Low Profile Floyd Rose Style. It's a killer too! Coming soon and I will use a 2:92 soon. I can't wait to try a Sophia trem!

I will be using the MGW templates on my next build. I've got many from Steve as well as a bunch of other tools. I am such a fan!
@@SweetTGuitars yep he's got my money too. Great templates and I'm ordering the floyd this week from him. I want to try the Sophia 3:44 and 2:92 out.
I also want to thank you so much for turning me on to Sophia. Iv'e been looking for a great top load bridge. Don't know how I missed this one?
@@r.llynch4124 I can vouch for the 3:44. It's the best fixed bridge I've ever played hands down. It's a little heavy but no big deal. With the deluxe saddles it's really comfortable. I am absolutely in the market for a Trem so the 2:92 is the obvious choice. I will have one.
Nice review Todd. Will he be doing other less generic body styles with these style templates? I don't see myself making a Strat or Paul anytime soon unless by chance someone actually thinks I am good enough to commission a build. I do think I will do two more builds after the Explorer before I "retire". Also you should have a package in the mail tomorrow (Thursday) IF it didn't show up late this afternoon on Wednesday.
He has templates called the “Fit-All” series. They are made to work with any body style you make.
I echo what Mike said and will add that if you can provide Steve with a drawing of what you want, he can make you any template you can imagine. I have several Fit-All templates which give you a rectangle template with any pickup-bridge combination you could ever need and he also makes Fit- All neck-fretboard and neck pocket templates to go with those body templates. These leave you free to create a "freeform' body shape while still giving you accurate alignment on all your crucial routs. They're killer man. Peace!!

I went to the site, clicked the pull down menu and typed in Floyd on the search bar!
@@SweetTGuitars I didn't think to do that. Most people would go to the menu and choose 'templates'. They are probably losing sales due to poor website design.
