Dee Dee Ramone's part of this song (bass guitar and backing vocals). It's believed that 0:58 is actually Mickey Leigh, not Dee Dee, however... The lyrics are included in this video.
I have no publishing rights for Ramones, only use their stuff presentation with no purpose to make money from it.
I did NOT expect his playing to be this consistent in isolation, Dee Dee Ramone was a fucking enigma man
That bass tone just chugging away. Awesome
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Glad I met Dee Dee before he died. R.I.P.
It's amazing for me to know there are people here who were able to see their loved musicians! Thanks for your comment
@@redraven3769 Thank you for your reply. Look up my tribute video I made for Dee Dee, search Dee Dee Deceased tribute. PS: Where did you get the Dee Dee only version of Blitzkrieg Bop?
Actually, this way: ua-cam.com/video/bTSRsrzVWb8/v-deo.html&lc=UgwqzCxu0OlYOZeNYzt4AaABAg.8xtZ1NfhUDb8y7AEumfycg
I took a look on your tribute, loved the chorus of that song especially!
RIP DEE DEE😇
So simple yet so good. Dee Dee!!!
That somes up most soild bass lines
Just discovered this isolated bass cover...superb....simple yet brilliant bassline
Gotta love that old Ampeg SVT and P Bass sound
Old ampeg Svt or ampeg v4bh head. Thats like ampeg Svt CL but 100w
@@are-bass I own both a vintage SVT and reissue V4-B :)
Simple bassline but all drown strokes which requires a lot of practice.
It literally doesn’t lmao now I’m not saying it’s the easiest but y’all need to stop with the “it’s hard” narrative lol
@@chesseking1234 This is only 1 song, how u gonna maintain downstrokes for like 20 songs straight
@@sidvicious4760 you do realize a lot of thrash metal is down picking lol im not knocking the ramones they’re great but their fans are kinda annoying lol
I'm late but I wanna add that I can only downpick, I can't alternate at all
@@chesseking1234 no one is more annoying than fucking 16 year old ramones fanboys. Yes, downstrokes for at 180bpm for an hour is quite tricky on a stamina level but anyone who has played either guitar or bass for a few months can play this stuff no problem. That doesn't mean it isn't good though. Dee dee was a great songwriter above all, people forget that.
so good, please do more of these, specifically of dee dee. already subscribed 🙌
Unfortunately, I don't have any other multitracks for Ramones, aside of Teenage Lobotomy, where Dee Dee vocals are too blend into Joey's, and Spider-Man, where it's not Dee Dee, but CJ.
Dee Dee leyenda
is it just me or does Dee Dee's vocals sound vaguely British
If memory serves he moved around a lot as a kid and could've picked up a slight accent somewhere
@@G.F.Browning That makes sense
Isn' t that a queens accent? I mean, all the Ramones spoke like that
Um dos melhores letristas da historia
why is this relaxing
I' m enjoing ♪Thank you so much ♪
Johnny Ramone🎼🎻🎼R.I.P …🥀🎻🥀
Uh it's Dee Dee Ramone playing
wrong Ramone
Learning this on Rocksmith currently. It sounds so simple here but there is certainly some skill to learn it for sure.
This song is about as easy as they come
@@NickCADA not if you play all downstrokes it ain't to keep it tight is hard
@@kevbeckguitar7209 still it’s easy lol
@@NickCADA post a cover then mate I'll rate you based on that
From the grave...awesome. 👍😎
If you could can you do 53rd and 3rd with only dee dees vocals and bass
I have no isolated track of it. Dee Dee seems to sing only the bridge, plus you can remove the guitar separating the left track of that song...
@@redraven3769 how do you make that?
@@redraven3769 The original release of the first album had all the bass in one channel and the guitar in the other. I forget if drums and vocals were in both channels, but this is the released mix. Crazy.
@@touchgrasstryhard8604 I know about that. But that just means I can remove the guitar and partially drums, while some of the latter as well as Joey's voice would remain in the final edit. Maybe just via plain editing and re-arranging the parts it is possible to remove some Joey's vocals, but not the drums (at least the way so the result sounds good).
Pretty good bassist 🎸 if you ask me. 😎
Definitely. He's very consistent, and all those downstrokes take a lot of practice.
DeeDeeの出す音は好きだな。
this is what I get when I turn the front speakers off and just leave the surround rears on.
Vamos Dee Dee👏👏👏👏
amazing! How did you that?
Actually, I googled "multitracks" and then came here: multitrackdownloads.blogspot.com/2012/03/multitracks-r.html
Unfortunately, that source does not cover all existing multitracks, but I was able to download it, merge bass and vocals to one file and then export it into video file.
@@redraven3769 Thank you for your reply. I'll try it.
Hi Whats the brand of strings that Dee Dee is using? Thanks
Those are Dee Dee's vocals.
Yeah Dee Dee's voice is definitely one of the two in the chorus. Mickey Leigh alleges that he came up with the vocal harmonies on the first album, yet both demo tapes have harmonies by Dee Dee.
He turned his tone off?!
Sounds like he did, plus a very overdriven amp
I want to be dee dee ramone.
:')
Tommy and Mickey Leigh are the ones doing the ooooohs
1:06
I hear alternate picking here. Not the dwon stroke picking dee dee is and the Ramones are know for.
???
Honestly, I hear it, too.
He’s doing downstrokes it’s just really fast
Омская Птица?
Да.
😍
Dee Dee sounds like a much better singer than Joey. Wonder why he didn't sing lead.
He was at first their lead singer, but it was incredibly hard for him to play bass for the entire show and sing at the same time.
Because it was hard for him to do those things at the same time besides Joeys a pretty good singer
So Johnny & DeeDee basically played allmost the same melody/chords, but with different instruments? Also having one guy play both ryhtm and lead guitar is efficient and just goes to show what amateurs Metallica are, neading like three gutarists plus a bass player.
Dude you know that there are other bands that have two guitarists than just Metallica. Plus two guitars helps in songs where the lead guitarist plays the solo while the rhythm guitarist helps keeps the rhythm along with bass. It’s not amateur play, it’s just their own style in the music genre they play in. Seems amateur of you dragging Metallica in for no reason
You're calling Metallica amateurs in comparison to the Ramones? Whatever you've been smoking, I need some.
They often indeed did the very same melody. But not always, think of "I Wanna Be Your boyfriend" or "California Sun", Johnny is doing some solo stuff there...
Bruh, there are so many great bands that had two guitarists. Some music just doesn’t work with one guitarist. Pretty silly criticism
Metallica amateurs... they are longer around than the ramones where. Who fcked you in the head?
No originality
All original baby 😉
