When I was in like 6th grade I was laughing with a friend in the lunch line and for whatever reason the lunch lady with the hole in her neck and strange voice thought I was making fun of her. She told the school administration and I met up with her to tell her that she was mistaken. After that she hugged me for a minute while crying and telling me not to make the mistakes she did. Honestly a really scary thing that someone as young as I was shouldn’t have been put through, but it was infinitely more effective at getting me to stay away from smoking than any anti smoking ad ever has been
The fact it’s becoming common place for freaking 5th and 6th graders now is downright disturbing. And it’s not just a “few” people. It’s a LOT of these kids doing it. The amount of degeneracy in our youth right now is staggering.

In my opinion, as an ex-smoker, vapes are actually WORSE than cigarettes. Hear me out, man. The thing with vapes is that you can take it anywhere and hit it almost anywhere. It's always on you, you don't set off fire alarms, and you can even learn to "ghost" so you don't get caught doing it. It's insanely convinient. With cigarettes, it's another story. This isn't the 80's/90's anymore. You can't smoke cigarettes between classes anymore without getting caught and the fire alarms are so sensitive, you'll get caught in an instant. You can't smoke cigarettes all day and everywhere you want. This obviously means your window of time to smoke is much smaller, therefore forcing you to do it less. This is why vapes are more harmful, because you're able to breathe in toxic chemicals all the time. (Holy shit, I just wrote an argument essay lmaooo)
Sugary drinking are just as bad as smoking cigarettes.

I was a level 4 vaper for 3ish years. I felt it on my lungs for the first time ever, called up my friend who quit smoking back in the day and asked how he quit. Basically I took 3 monster hits to get my last headrush, threw my vape into public garbage (because my addicted ass woulda dug it out of my own trash), bought nicotine patches and sufffered for a week.
That first week is terrible, the first month it is ALWAYS at the back of your mind.
I had dreams about it for maybe 3 months.
It's worth it though, I can take a full breath of air and it doesn't hurt.

I've been vaping for seven years now I started after I graduated and hung out with friends, never hung out with friends outside of school while I was in school. I hit two MrFog's at the same time and don't even feel a buzz or anything from them, I know it's a major issue and I've tried quitting but get terrible headaches, I think I am going to try nicotine patches.

I remember back when I was in high school vaping got so bad that faculty started locking the bathrooms. Which was annoying asf because students that didn’t vape (like myself) had to walk around the entire school trying to find one open bathroom. I swear innocent kids always getting punished for people’s actions.💀

about 5-6-7 months ago I started vaping and then like on the one day of school, I went into the bathroom and did 30 hits, then on my way walking home I did another 10 hits and my eyes just looking at the smoke cloud that was big at first became small and my brain was just like "this is boring,whats the point anymore" and I stopped vaping completely after that
In my school, some students started vaping in 5th grade. In my class, about half of them did and some even smoked actual cigarettes (at that time, we were all 16-18). All the teachers knew but didn't do much because they felt powerless to stop it. The only vapers who were punished were the ones doing it in public.

I thought it was a dog whistle at 13. I accidentally took a tiny hit, and my throat burned for 30 minutes. NEVER AGAIN.
Story: so I was at a friends house, and they have a sheep dog because they have big property and pigs, so I thought the nic was a dog whistle for the dog. So when i tried to test out the dog whistle, it didn’t work by blowing into, so I blew it in, and my throat burned so badly that I went outside to breathe fresh air, and after 30 minutes it stopped burning. When the mom came out, I told her about it, and she threw it away because her son (21 y/o) most likely uses it. To this day, only her, my best friend and my sister know.

I have a friend with ADD who vapes, they say it calms them down and relaxes them. They also say they only do flavor vapors rather than nicotine packets, but just the whole act of vaping gets to me, I’m not against it or find it problematic, it just feels weird like, why would you want to subject your body to this stuff? I asked my friend that question and if it is worth it, they said “I understand the risk and the effect it’ll have on me but if it helps me now and allows me to focus I’m fine doing it, and it’s a problem for future me to deal with.” This is my best friend, and I don’t mind them doing it and they are completely fine with putting it away if I feel too uncomfortable with them using it. I don’t care if they use it, I’m just worried about their health in the future.
My school has a fairly small locker room and it has like no cameras so some ppl decided to fully hotbox that shit. Yknow i had to get my gym clothes to go home but i got a nasty headache(guess they were using some shit juice) and a buzz from the LEFTOVERS. I was like "who would like this " and next thing i know it was always at the back of my head for days. That was the moment i decided not to touch nic in my life lol.
Speaking of vaping I’m a college freshman about to be sophomore in a few weeks. And I have asthma, and same with my roommate and when I asked kindly to not do it he vaped in the room. I absolutely hate vaping not just because I have asthma but also because it’s just disgusting for your health overall it’s not cool and it’s really stupid

The first level of vaping for me was smoking cigarettes. And the first level of smoking cigarettes was smoking something else. I spent 7 years fighting that other habit off and on but vaping at least helped me stop cigarettes. But vapes are hard to quit too. Not even once people.

I was a level 2 vaper and I realized it was really becoming a problem. So I pulled some drastic measures and I used cigarettes to get off of it. The issue with vapes you can do it anywhere at anytime so i used cigs and limited myself and slow waned off both. Luckily it worked and now I only smoke if a friend got something or if we get cigars or some shit.

As someone who is struggling to quit nicotine, i started because it was available. Simply available. I was at my lowest, my friends were doing it, and i had a choice whether to do it or not. I started at some point after years of quitting nicotine previously (different form). The only reason was to stop self harming that was it it took a good two years and now I socially still somewhat do it, but I don't buy them and I barely ever bought them at the time.
I think they're very destructive but what isn't. it's only lead people that are not self-aware already down that path even faster I don't think it's something ppl should promote which we really don't but I also think we should necessarily hate people for it unless they're obviously letting it control their life

I have always restricted myself from vaping because, well, I have always knew I can be very addicted. I could become level 6 in just a week, that's why I don't trust myself and don't vape.
I was addicted to vape for over two years (started in 9th grade now a junior) i started by peer pressure and became very addicted. Started getting in trouble and affected me athletically. I currently haven’t hit one in a month and started using zyns. Best decision ever

i started vaping in grade 9 and i was at level 5 through the second half of highschool, when vaping wasn’t enough i would just chainsmoke cigarettes during our lunch breaks, and i would do unfiltered poppers out of my bong every 45 mins or so but after 5 or 6 years i couldn’t breath anymore so i just quit cold turkey. best decision i ever made. the first month was the hardest month mentally i’ve ever had but it’s been 2 and a half months without nicotine or weed and it feels good to breath again
I was working one time and someone was vaping. and so walked over to em and said "Sir, we're not allowed smoking e-cigarettes/vaping in here." he then said "You sound like you need one. You wanna hit it?" I then called over my supervisor to escort them out
