Oh. About those apple shrunken heads. You don't need one of those old kits from the 70's to make them. They're fairly simple to make as a craft project. If you Google it, you can find instructions online for making them.
The Phantom of the Opera is a Marx figure. They are still being produced (in Mexico last I heard). The cyclopean centaur is modeled off Ray Harryhausen's creation from THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD.
Hey Jacob, that cyclops centaur is from a Sinbad movie. Also, the character in the window near the Frankenstein monster is Mr. Hyde. That Phantom of the Opera is from the 1960’s Marx toy line. Love the video!
I did security for gwar for a year...only saw Dave out of costume if he was a. Poopin. or B. Gettin tanked. Usually love local bands opening for em. Dunno how it works anymore.
When they perform outside of their characters they are called rawg and if I'm remembering right that's what they were cretided as in the knd episode they had two of their songs changed for and they also helped come up with the lyrics for it
I made jokes for years my girlfriend was born with a monkey tail but her parents cut it off when she was little... So , last Christmas , I purchased a vintage bell jar with Zinc lid from around the time she was born...searched for pharmacy and doctor labels from bottles from around that time and city she was born in and printed it out, filled it out as Tail Removed from newborn human Female by Dr. Faust case #1313 lol . Had one of those skeleton monkeys they sell around Halloween, that was broken...so pulled off his poseable tail...covered it with latex and little bits of red brown hair-since she is a redhead...and sealed it in the jar with yellow-green food coloring water. Best part is , it has been on her desk since then...her dad was over and noticed it and asked what the heck it was since he saw the label and it matched where she was born and the date...and she had to explain to him what it was...he was laughing so hard...lol
I'm in Pennsylvania. I'll have to try to get over there sometime. It's maybe 2 or 3 hours from where I am. Thank you,Jacob for letting me know this exists😻❤💚
The mummy dust alert was hilarious and I had to watch it a second time. Thanks for another year of adventure & fun, and very happy holidays to you & yours.
Off topic, but what about a Carpet Bagger calendar with a diff place you go to each month and the cover could be carpet fibers?! Jen could have one too with a toy/collectible of the month! I am all in on calendar shopping right now.
Oh my gosh... I LOVE that you were a Social Worker. I am also a Social Worker. I am currently opening the only oddities shop that I know of (per Google) in Northern Arizona :)
Oh I loved the “Dark Shadows” music in the background tooooo cooool😎saw Lobster boy in Clyde Beatty Coleman Bros carnival in the early 60’s and scared the crap out of, slept with my parents for weeks I was so scared of him lol great time ty Jacob
I actually owned one of those exact Charlie McCarthy dolls at 8:35 back in the late 70's, early 80's, when I was a kid. There's a string in the back of the neck that you can pull to make it's mouth move. It looks like the rubber band that was inside the jaw that made it close, is probably broken in this one. It's mouth is supposed to be shut unless you're pulling the string. Also, there's a store that's kind of similar to this, a couple cities over from where I live, that kind of takes the concept of this store and ups it in every single way. It's called somethng like, "The Curiosium" or something like that. You make an appointment to shop there. When you arrive, the place doesn't even begin to resemble a normal store. It looks like you've entered a shop in some kind of steampunk world in an alternate reality. It's fully theme decorated. You're shown through the collection by staff who are all dressed in crazy, steampunk-like outfits, and all of them stay completely in character the whole time. It's like shopping in a role playing game. My friends went there and said that it was neat, but that the stuff in there was OBVIOUSLY very expensive. There was a lot of strange, dark, and steampunk, art, and stuff that could well be sideshow curiosities there. One of these days, when I get some free time, I really want to check this place out.
Very cool n eclectic museum with great findings, n it's free!!! Awesome, but yes, always leave a donation if you can!!! Did not know Gear was their own opening act dressed in their regular gear, so thanks for that interesting but of Heavy metal memorabilia from one of my fellow commenters!!! Attaboy, Carpetbagger, another super cool place unearthing super cool finds!!!! Merry, Merry, n Happy Christmas ⛄🎄🦌🎁🎉!!!
The Deep Sea creature is also by him. I have the same fish body but with legs, so to be a land walking fish, instead of the head and antenna. Mine has more of a piranha looking head.
HEY, JACOB YES VERY, Very Cool I Really do Enjoy seeing you documenting places like this and find them Awesomely Interesting and such a cool variety of curiosity that draws you in and you have to see over an over again OK Take care stay safe and I will seeYou on the next awesome video project
I remember doing a srunkin apple head as a Halloween project in school as an early elementary student...I loved how it turned out 😍🤘 they don't let kids do cool crafts like that anymore 🥺🥺
Svengooli was legendary to those of us who didn't have cable TV in the 80s. Late night horror movie shows were so very sought after in Ontario, Canada in the days before pay and satellite TV. While this museum of grossness only offers a limited rendering of what was relevant for the time, your Svengooli clickbait is why we are here.
Hey carpet bagger! I just subscribed to your channel! I live in Orlando now, but I’m from Scranton PA..My mother is obsessed with SvenGoolie! She lives in PA still and won’t talk to me if it’s anywhere near to 8 pm on Sat night! I wonder if she knows about this shop. Funny story, we were at the last Spooky Empire, Itook a picture of SvenGoolie and 2 dressed up ppl with him, I sent it to my mother and it was the real Svengoolie! With his rubber chicken and his hallmark pin on, I did not know! She was freaking out! Look FWRD to your videos! ✌️out Happy Holidaze!💚❤️🖤🎃
My Sister got me one of those Whisky bottles from Edinburgh, a Scots fan might be able to post you one for the Bunker although not sure on legalities as it is actual Booze inside. Not got many Oddities but I am hoping to fix that, next project is a Sea Monkey Gumball tank complete with Bubbler.
Just so people know, Marie Antoinette was a Grandmother in her 60s when she was killed...NOT the pretty young woman she's portrayed as in Hollywood movies. She was about 62 in one of her last portraits...
Since you just wished everyone a merry Xmas on the monkeys paw doesn't that mean you basically screwed everyone Xmas since the wishes always go bad lol...
Another correction because of the not Smart Phone computer. G W A R Gear not gear like the always wrong computer in the Motorola phone printed out over what I wrote!!!
🧜♀️Saw hand of glory, clown story abt dude who murdered his wife & kid, blamed clown ,furry fish 🐠 & troglodyte. heehe are they ancestors to yt trolls ? 🌈Thanx beautiful 🧚♂️🌻 love + light xx 💜💚
It's simple. I see Jacob and Svengoolie together? I click!

These are some of my favorite videos Jacob. These weird and amazing places you find are the best.
Fun Fact, Gwar's opening act, was often Gwar themselves, performing in their street clothes, without their costumes and masks.
I did security for gwar for a year...only saw Dave out of costume if he was a. Poopin. or B. Gettin tanked. Usually love local bands opening for em. Dunno how it works anymore.

GWARRRRRRR!!!!
GWAR GWAR GWAR! One of my favorite bands to see live back in the day.
R.I.P. Dave Brockey
Love the Dark Shadows theme in the background

That art is actually very fairly priced. Super cool stuff.
I’m loving the Dark Shadows theme playing in the background. 🧛
Such a pleasure meeting you earlier today...
The Trolodyte fought the Cyclops centaur in that Sinbad movie!
I made jokes for years my girlfriend was born with a monkey tail but her parents cut it off when she was little...

Love it
I had Big Foot the game growing up! It's so cool to see that again.
Awesome museum, Jacob.
Visited there several weeks ago. I picked up a Krampus air freshener for the holiday season. Great fun attraction in a thriving downtown area.
When I was young we made apple head dolls. It was always fun to see what they turned into as they dried.
My grandma made those! I want to bring ‘em back.
@@EmmaGoldmanlovesyou They were fun to make. Your grandma and I are probably around the same age.
The Dark Shadows music in the background! Loved that show.
I'm in Pennsylvania. I'll have to try to get over there sometime. It's maybe 2 or 3 hours from where I am. Thank you,Jacob for letting me know this exists😻❤💚
Grew up in Lancaster PA, next time I visit my parents I'll head over to E-town to check it out!

Omg I love the animatronic Bigfoot!!
1:47 Yooo, it’s Svengoolie!
I’ve got that same flying monkey. It’s made by Dusty Tentacle from which Jacob has purchased a few items from at the Oddities and Curiosities Expo
The Deep Sea creature is also by him. I have the same fish body but with legs, so to be a land walking fish, instead of the head and antenna. Mine has more of a piranha looking head.
Great Video Jacob Thank you
In my day we had Bestoink Dooley (George Ellis) for our late night horror shows here in Georgia

Flash forward Halloween 2023: Jen dresses up like a 2 headed creature and takes Jacob on a surprise date to the swamp.
I will visit this place next time I'm out that way. I had the Vincent Price shrunken apple head kit when i was a kid!
Curious if you are going to the Oddities & Curiosities Expo in Grand Rapids, MI April 1? I'll be there, my first time. Great video!
Omfg your wish was so wholesome, love this channel so much.
You should check out Koziars Christmas Village in PA! Was thinking of u while I was there
That toy figure of the phantom that looked like a moldarama is from the Marx toy company, I remember have some of those monsters back in the 70s.
Interesting some of svengoolies episodes did get shown over here back in the day in the uk
Interesting museum.
I remember doing a srunkin apple head as a Halloween project in school as an early elementary student...I loved how it turned out 😍🤘 they don't let kids do cool crafts like that anymore 🥺🥺
That is a really cool and awesome shop that a LOT of people would go too. Hope you have fun Jake!

The orange Phantom of the Opera figure was made by Marx Toys in 1964.
Oddities shop is next stop 😸
9:11 Catchy, they playing the Gremlins Mogwai humming song at the Big Foot Display . Japan and USA crypto crossover lol
Hey Jacob, that place looks awesome!
The bloody hand on the ball was Wilson!
Great video
Wow I live 2 mins away for that place!!!!
Hey carpet bagger! I just subscribed to your channel! I live in Orlando now, but I’m from Scranton PA..My mother is obsessed with SvenGoolie! Every time when I was a kid my dad would buy me each new issue of weekly world news at the grocery store and I to believed every story lol.
That wierd thing in the chair was Wilson from the movie tom Hanks stranded on an island
These are always fun videos ☺️
Sounds like fun
Think the doll with the bloody handprint in the window may be Wilson with a body 🤣. And the creepy one in the cape is possibly Mr. Hyde.
I heard the Dark Shadows theme music in the background.
15:08 I remember that Big Foot game from.the 70s
is that svengoolie?
Just so people know, Marie Antoinette was a Grandmother in her 60s when she was killed...NOT the pretty young woman she's portrayed as in Hollywood movies. She was about 62 in one of her last portraits...
That's a cool place
Lovin it 🥰
Were you at Field of Screams Christmas Show this year I swear I saw you and scared you when I was acting in Den of Darkness
I was charged for Novembers patreon but didn’t receive a postcard :(
The "Trolodyte" is a rip-off of Ray Harryhausen's Trog ,(Troglodyte) from SINBAD AND THE EYE OF THE TIGER. The horn is a dead giveaway.
If the Jersey Devil exists, it would be in Turkey Swamp area.
Did you just curse my Christmas?!
What's the address is it still there
Since you just wished everyone a merry Xmas on the monkeys paw doesn't that mean you basically screwed everyone Xmas since the wishes always go bad lol...
SVENGOOLIE!!!
Hey jacob
Wilson found a body after getting away from Tom Hanks.
Another correction because of the not Smart Phone computer. G W A R Gear not gear like the always wrong computer in the Motorola phone printed out over what I wrote!!!
Surprised that there was no mermaid.
BERWYN
How odd! 🤔
Strange place.
👍😎👍🇺🇸
By the hatchet wound is how I identified my ex girlfriend.
🧜♀️Saw hand of glory, clown story abt dude who murdered his wife & kid, blamed clown ,furry fish 🐠 & troglodyte. heehe are they ancestors to yt trolls ?
🌈Thanx beautiful 🧚♂️🌻 love + light xx 💜💚
Very Nice…very evil. Glad to see Danhausen using his jar of teeth again in AEW
That star you mentioned is NOT the star of David . The Lord says it’s the star of Ramphan or Baal the child eater. It’s in the book of Mathew.
That volleyball with the handprint is Wilson! From Cast Away the movie
