I'm not sure why we haven't seen a video on the Lexus LC500 but I'd be willing to bet that once you reviewed one of these you'd change your tune about Aston Martin. Fortunately you're a very skilled mechanic so when the Aston needs repair, you can do it. The Lexus however is not at all like the A.M. It is reliable and will cost much less to maintain than your DBS. I follow your channel and would love to see what you think of the LC500. I own a 2018 and love it. I don't get the excitement over manual cars. I see the same excitement when I've watched DDE video's who constantly talk about their "rare gated manual" I suppose as i'm in the UK it's because manual cars here are pretty much the norm over automatics.
That's the thing. Lots of vehicles in North America are sans clutch pedal. Maserati is junk thats why you can get them for 30k I have a friend who bought a ghilbi and it looks nice but its crap. Its unreliability makes my bmw seem like a camry
@@TEFLONDONTRUMP2024 So it's perfect for this series, no? :D

One of the sweetest rides ever made. Congrats Freddie. You deserve it brotha
The DBS doesn’t technically get the record because the stunt car was just a DB9 fitted with a DBS body kit.
13:24 The sound that You want to hear !! 🎶👂🏼🎵
Only 1 of the 4 cars I've owned were automatic (first one...intended to do an auto->manual swap) and I'm the only car within several blocks that have a manual. Depending on what State you're in, there are most certainly not common.
14:00 Americans still not getting to grips with a manual, you don't need to rip the stick off to change gear, it can still be done lovingly at speed.
It's not our fault we watch Fast and Furious
We invented the synchronized manual transmission! Don’t you tell us how to drive 😂
Right. Too harsh
@@mamba4l560 Yeah I've been trying to shift into 27th gear and I just can't seem to find it
@@hopingforthebest1.9 it's pretty easy to find😂
I love Austin Martin as well best car ever I have watched CAR TREK four times of all 3 all series
Grand Tourer is the way to go... Thats really what you are talking about.... Long distance, in comfort, fast with luxury.... Love it.
38 seconds ago! I’ve been watching since before the Gallardo, loved watching this channel grow! Keep up the great content! (PS, You should get more weird projects like the minivan 👀)
Also, “awethom”😂
the fact that they took from Volvo directly the mirrors is still hilerious
UA-cam/Social Media/Every Car Blog 2020:
Car Enthusiasts: "...we all love a sporty, na, MANUAL trans vehicle!"
Most Modern Car Companies: "...meh, here is another 4cyl with a blah auto trans."
ಠ_ಠ
CVT trans*
I love cars more than anything and I want an automatic. Good automatic transmission cars still let you control the transmission too in manual mode.
Because Car Enthusiasts dont buy new, so Modern Car Companies have to sell this to bankers, people who will garage them and Karens.
People don’t put their money where their mouth is.
@@Zikminded98 I like cars and prefer manuals. But I have had a A6 Diesel with a CVT Transmission and it was the greatest daily driver ever. Avant with room for nearly everything, silent and comfortable and low fuel consumption. Sadly the transmission was a always broken piece of crap.
I went to see one in person at the dealer in San Diego. The video does absolutely no justice to the beauty and presence that the DBS gives off. Congrats bro
My favorite car UA-camr buys my favorite car! I love cars and I love your channel!!
Yes Yes Yes,
One of the most beautiful cars in the world indeed, and Manuel yeeeeesss
Freddy: Talking about his new Aston.

@@rylanprime6176 when he said the most beautiful car ever made i was looking at the 3000 GT vr4. I really love that car
I'm happy to hear you like the car!
Glad you got the dark silver over the black ones. It shows off the lovely shape in this color, looks epic
I've been hoping on having this very car since it came out over a decade ago. I have been saving for an Aston almost my entire life this far and will probably never be able to get one. Growing up poor, military life, family life... Everything got in the way. I'm very happy for you and envious at the same time. Please please enjoy it!
The way to "save the manuals" is to buy brand new cars with manual transmissions.
What's with the blurring of the tachometer? Hahahahahahha
Anyways, congrats on having your very DREAM car ❤️
I noticed it too. I think it was the speedo and Freddy didn’t want to provide evidence of his speeding on the streets.
I think he meant to cover the speedo, but on these gauges, it's on the left. Oops.
Cars.. What about them? Everything.
I truly enjoy a car with a soul. My dream is to be able to rebuild my FRS with an LS3 and TR60-60 combo.
Wanna use my car for content? haha kidding, selfishly, not kidding.
As a Brit, I do enjoy seeing Americans enjoying our vehicles. Same goes for your McLaren project. We have so few British vehicle manufacturers since the 1980s, the ones we have are elite brands that most of us can't afford. But they are something we have pride in.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful car. I’ve always felt they’re so understated and elegant yet they totally blow the doers off most other cars on the road. You almost need to wear a suit to drive it lol
0:05 cauz I watch Tavarish 🤷🏼♂️can't help it 😂😂😂
DRIVING STICK SHIFT IS AN ART WHERE YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR BRAIN,
WHILE DRIVING AN AUTOMATIC IS LIKE DRIVING COMPUTER ON WHEELS
In Europe pretty much everyone learns on manual lol in the UK you have to if you want to drive manual or you only get a auto license
Using the Caps lock button is a lost art

The Car Trek series was so much fun and the most fun I’ve ever had watching Tavarish
Congrats, DBS one of my all time favorites too. Casino Royal, rolling the car was done with a huge piston shooting under it to make it roll, check out behind the scenes. All movie magic on that one.
The one thing that attracted me to Aston Martins way back is the way the center stack curves up and over. I think it's the best looking of any car built.
come on it's all green screen we know you're not really driving.. like we haven't seen movies before
I WOULD LOVE TO DRIVE THIS CAR IN A HEARTBEAT
That key may be the coolest useless car feature I’ve ever seen, I don’t care if its 1500 and you can’t put a lanyard or keys on it
Thanks Tavarish because of you I bought an absolute money pit to wrench on... so much fun keep up the content
Bro I remember the first time driving one, it was unforgettable! Still today, I never forgot how it felt! Watching you mashing on the petal, laughing, smiling in the DBS brought me back! I will get one, one day!
You have the car of my dreams.
I just got this myself too!
In Hot wheels size
the intro sounded like he was going to talk about his civigatti, but no :(
Bro. Absolutely agree 100%!! Much love and respect to my dream car! Drove a slightly used 2011 DBS 6 Speed in black with the red metal flake. Best feeling of my life!!!
Bro Car trek was the best series in the fuckin world. I watched so many time over and over again just to see Ed”s Lambo kill it self over and over again and I wished that you guys could keep making it. It looked so real as if there was no cameraman and just 3 guys having their time of their lives

Yeah, I stopped watching Hoovie because of that. I’m only here because I’m an Aston Martin fan.
Fantastic automobile!
Back in 2009 I was working on a building where one of the tenants had this exact car but in black. The sound is glorious!
Always adored the DBS. Remember hearing that the rollover scene has the record being assisted by an air cannon as they struggled so much getting it to roll without doing so
