Her son has the whooooooooooole studio to play in. Where does he decide to play, wherever mommy doesn't want him to be. LOL. My son is the same way. Gotta love it.
I love your UA-cam channel! You are very inspiring & you have very helpful tips & ideas! Thank you for sharing ❤️ My studio space isn’t very large & I absolutely loved your idea with the ribbon (to fold & store easily) & the fabric (to protect your floors) you’re a genius!! You are so WONDERFUL!!!! Thank you!
Hi Fenna . . . .oh yes, your video certainly did inspire me !I love making things , and this project looks like it would be perfect for a portable back drop !! I loved the color you chose ! Great for a girl or a boy !! Your photos came out lovely with your new creation . Thanks for the idea !!
Such a great video. I travel to peoples home to take their newborn photo's and I will be trying this out real wood backdrop. It's super simple and easy to make. Thanks so much for sharing this video :)
Hi! Love the video. Very helpful. Whats the measurements for the wooden bowl? I am looking for one and I want to make sure I get a perfect size like yours.
I have always loved photography. And I just had my second baby so I am trying to learn more to take better photos and the style that I like. I found your channel recently and it has inspired me so much! Now I want to open my own studio, its been an off and on dream but now I am sure. Thank you for your amazing videoes and ideas.
super and beautiful session, the DIY wooden floor is a great edea, here in Australia photography props are quite expensive, i'm a crafty person myself so I'll give it a try...and I've got a small studio so it will be handy. Thank's for sharing.
I LOVE all your videos Fenna (my daughter says I'm addicted to watching them LOL). Here is Australia, good quality backdrops and accessories are hard to find and expensive to buy when you do come across them, so I love these DIY videos you do..I will definitely try out this portable real wood floor... Thanks Fenna and keep up these awesome videos...from Evonne from The Smiling Willow Photography in Melbourne Australia. xo
Love it, Fenna! In this part of the world the supply for Photography props is very limited so any diy ideas are great. Plus I love to do diy with my girls. I think this color is more like the One I got for the cot (as you saw on instagram 😉), although looks more green in the video then blue. Looks beautiful either way. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I love making props with the kids as well. Yes, I think it's almost the same color although now it looks a bit more green than blue. Indeed beautiful either way!
First off want to say thank you for this video! I love the DIY wooden backdrop, super cute! Just curious though, you have amazing natural light, how come you use the big box light behind the baby and what is that called?
Hi, I just discovered you like 3 weeks ago and I've been watching your videos. They are very informative. I was wondering, can this backdrop you created be used leaned against a wall (secured, of course) so I can take along with me as well.
Thank Fena! Love this! Can I ask you one thing? I saw that you use the flash but that you also have a lot of natural light .. but natural light does not affect your photos taken with the flash?
The natural light and the flash actually complement each other. One works really well with the other! On some days it's so dark outside, that I really need the flash. To use only flash would not be my style either, so I live combining them. It means however, that I change my settings (mostly ISO) depending on the daylight
Thank you much! I'll try . I have a new studio with huge windows..north exposure.. but i feel it's not enough to illuminate my photo(I mean the older kids when the shutter speed must be high).
For the Staples on the back scratching the floor ..... Im thinking you can hot glue another piece of ribbon on top of the other one and will protect a little more :)
Fenna&Photography thanks for your reply. You've given me so many ideas and I really appreciate that you share the different settings you use. Also, thanks for sharing the different places you order and buy things from as I'm also in Europe and there's not much variety as America and where I live there is no prop shops 😂. Love the channel x
Do you have instagram account
Yes, I have two accounts. One official instagram.com/wonderfotografie and one 'behind the scenes' at instagram.com/fenna_and_photography

You can always put a fleece blanket underneath when you take it to other people
Yes, very smart as well! although it might be challenging to lift the wood unto the blanket without moving the blanket.

what light kit do you use
What lens were you using for this shoot?
Thick, industrial felt is your best friend if you're worried about scratching!
