People who play spark have known this pain for a long time
Scorching Ray has the same problem. I saw it on another skill too, but can't recall it. Doors and stairs aren't something that GGG accounts for correctly
That's what I'd call a low range skill.
At the same time Charged Dash damages through the CLOSED doors 0_o
same with LS I believe, or at least I have same experiences
It's a feature :^)

Maybe don't aim at the fucking wall and acquire basic knowledge of targetting in the game. You even show where to click so it works in stairs.
