that was really tight, one thing imma just throw out there, is that when you play the chords, u can play on the top 3 with ur index finger then the 4th idk it adds one more string, no bigge. that was really cool though, i like ur voice.

so i got all ready to learn how to play this and while i was tuning it the 6th string broke and i cant find my replacement now =[ boo..but i still watched the video, good job i cant wait to get my string fixed now!!!
i'm sure they tune it halftone lowered for the acoustic version. don't really know if it's halftone-lowered drop d or halftone-lowered DADGAD (D Modal).
I listened to both vids (Altitude TV/Lounge & the one with the black background) and played at the same time in dadgad and it was off.
was trying to figure out the actual strumming pattern and that's when I noticed the pitch was off.

dude by the way there's a slight change in the tabs in the first part of the song where he begins singing "I got your picture , i'm comming with you.." put your pointer finger in the 3rd string 7th fret and your ring finger in the 6th string 9th fret and the rest of the strings are open.. that's the first chord... oops by the way you count the strings 1 - 6 from the bottom string to the top string not from the top to bottom..
yeah i noticed that too when i was playing along. I always wanted to play along while listening to the live acoustic versions they play and it's half step from the DADGAD tuning.
Great video though Cody! I bought an Ovation GC28 Celebrity about a month ago, and this was the first song i learned how to play =] You should make one for "Let It Roll"!! i'd love to see that one =]

good tutorial but I think its in D flat tuning so it's DADGAD half a step down that's how Zach and Alex play it. But very good and accurate tutorial.

hey, this tutorial is great... one thing tho. i've been playing for about 2 years now, but im a girl :) so my pinky is pretty weak, and i have martin medium strings on my acoustic so its quite hard for me to hold down the g. do you have any suggestions on alternate fingering, or a way i can make my pinky stronger?

how do you keep your hands in the right place? when you have to kepp your pinkie on the 4th string doesnt it start to hurt/move
