I remember listening to this on mrsuicidesheep and boy oh boy i was hooked. I just got a notification on youtube about fluxpavilion and i immediately scrolled down and saw this and clicked on this and man… the goosebumps. This will never get old.
you know this thing when you hear a certain song for this first time and your brain just takes an emotional screenshot of what´s going through your mind right now. whenever you hear this particular song those emotions just get brought back to your mind .. and the same questions you asked yourself years ago are suddenly a big topic again. this is what this song does to me: when I first heard this song I was really hungover. we partied the night before and I slept at a friends place because I was too drunk to make it back home. next day I woke up and started making my way to the bus station, put my headphones on and heard this exact song. I was walking through old town, tourists everywhere and I looked like shit. I´ve been in a bad & sad kinda mood for a couple days already and told myself that the party I visited the day before would help get happy again. It didn´t. suddenly I realized that partying and drinking, sex & consequent hangover days aren´t making me happy and do not help me change my life to something better. I always told myself that some beers with my friends will help - and that was lie. that is what I realized while walking through oldtown on a sunny Sunday morning in the middle of hundreds of tourists while sitting on the bus back home. whenever I hear this song now, it always raises the question if I´m actually happy by what I am currently doing. you hear this song while playing videogames and ask yourself if you actually enjoy videogames or if you simply do not have anything else to do. you hear this song while studying for your bachelors degree and ask yourself if this is what you wanna do with your life. this song has become something of a reminder to always reflect on your feelings .. always make sure you´re doing what is right for you. you don´t wanna look back at my life and start regretting things.
I know what you're talking about. A screenshot of everything going on. I have, for almost every song I hear, memories of exactly how I found it, what I thought, when it was, and the emotions surrounding it. For some specific songs, I have far more emotion. Occasionally I'll also picture some visualizer or story for to go with it. Music is so strong dude. That's a heck of a story too. Glad that you have a reminder telling you to question what you're doing. I think that's super important, doing what you like. And not regretting the past. Cool stuff
This ain't new....was bossing this shit like 2 years or so ago! But it's absolutely 💯 amazing! Salute brother! Seen u at Summer Camp! Chillicothe,IL......Amazing show....please come back brother 🙏 you killed it right after Zeds Dead!
I feel like this more melodic style is perfect for flux, the dubstep he did in those past times was good, but this new flux is better, you can see the improvement it has had even talking about the samples.
The marimba-like-noise in the intro clashes with the mood of the vocals In fact, most of the song just has a weird clash between terribly sad vocals and upbeat, kind of happy / jazzy synths
Pretty sure life flashed before my eyes tonight guys, girl wanted to commit suicide and her brothers would have fucked me up..she alive though!! Than I found this awesome song
This is literally flume
I've been more than 12 years listening to flux and believe never have got dissapointed
