Extraordinary job dear brother, I have been learning so many things since I watch your videos. I am very passionate and eager to learn new tricks and apply them in my own videos until to produce wonderful and qualified work because in my country, I mean Afghanistan, we are divested and deprived from so many things but as a beginner and tyro your videos really helped me in this area. Right now, I'm 18 years old, and you, dear brother, have done a great work for me by these wonderful videos in the future by and by, I want to continue my education in the filed of graphic design before to attend at university dear brother your beautiful and fantastic videos helped me a lot and made it easier for me. Wish you long live!
An extraordinary technique Flo. Clearly Mocha Pro is essential to any video artist doing tracking and object attachment. Sadly, it is currently beyond my comprehension, as Boris FX’ Silhouette is.
man i love your tutorails and enjoy so much.. i want to learn more about mocha starting from as a bigginer. if you can make bigginer tutorial to advance for mocha it would be help full so much
Aligning 3D objects to the tabletop by setting the Y-axis to zero was a clever trick; it's these subtle tips that often save hours in post-production. On that note, any shortcuts or advice for those tediously long keyframing sessions?
Your results look fun, but it'd be good for some advice to take it to the next level. Any tips for making the angle of the feet look like they're actually standing on the comped surfaces? And adding contact shadows?
Haha... jeah, filming the last scene from up high would have helped a lot!! Contact shadow works for 3d objects... so you could rotomate 3d figures and let them only cast shadows... well that is how it is done Iin a professional world... but super time consuming... you could 7se wonder Studio (I have a tutorial on that) and use the figure as your shadow caster!!
My first thought for depth of field would be turning on the AE camera's depth of field and dialing in the focus distance and aperture settings to match the BG plate. Unless the focus distance in the plate is changing too. Although you could work with that by linking the focus distance to a null and then animating that null's position to whatever is in focus in the scene. Is there an advantage to doing this the way you did with the camera lens blur effect?
Would love to do that... but the camera dof is not available in the advanced render engine... hope they update that soon... it is kind of a deal breaker
Thanks for the video👍 Obviously the Mocha tracking is great. But in previous versions (which could also do cam tracking, right(?) - I found it extremely annoying, that Mocha wasn’t able to orient a scene. I’d sit there with a bunch of ae nulls sitting perfectly on a shared plane, but their orientation/rotation would be completely random - making it almost impossible to build and elaborate on a 3d scene. Since you use “Align to ground”, I’m wondering if they finally fixed this in 2024?

I know! I is thr default without any clear up! The unpers shelf is the part that would need cleanup... which I did for the final version... would just be too long for the tutorial
I would say Mocha is one of the best value for money plugins available right now.
It does so much and quickly.
Thanks Flo.
And super reliable... like you!!
Your videos are too good for learning me to the grafics and editing for tutorials.

Hey!! I did a tracking tutorial in mocha already! You find it on my channel!! And there will be a new one soon!!

You mean for setting the focus?? Well good music on the earphones helps a lot!!
I was going to get the pro version of Mocha when my project requiring the mesh would have been needed. I had no idea it had the tracker as well.
Now you know
Gracias maestroo
Tnx

@@flo.motion Red Giant Suite has a shadow plug in too
Hey, how did you make your thumbnail? What do you call that effect?
What do you mean?? The Black and white depth matte??

@@flo.motionAha, that makes perfect sense. Thanks.
What cool and crazy things can i do with depth maps , with or without plugins
Is that a question??
@@flo.motion yes
Very cool. Looks like this 3D Camera Tracker is SynthEyes now built inside of Mocha Pro?
That is exactly what it is!!
@@flo.motion Loved seeing it in action within your workflow. Great stuff!
which mocha license should i get to have these tools available? thanks.
Hey! You need the pro version!
Thank you , only in BETA version we can set the solid as only shadows ?
Yes!! At the moment only in the beta!!
Thanks for the video👍

Thanks a lot!! The Camera solver is completely new! It is not an update from the old version!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!!
Why did you need to create a solid? Do you need to?
I tried this technique with a car on a road but not luck
That is to find the right position for the 3d assets and the layer will also be used to catch shadows!
Looks like you can play the guitar as good as your AE :-)
Haha... well you decide
What? No shadow on table, unacceptable! Just kidding, nice tutorial❤
seems you do nothing with those track points, why export those track points? can just export camera ?
I copy paste their position! The are a 100%accurate position reference!! Especially for the top part where the position is above the ground plane!
@@flo.motion Thanks your explanation.
Hey man, do you have a Discord server by any chance?
Don't even know what that is... should I?
