From my heart it's an excellent episode. Yes we need to see Brother Mo Ali more often AND I would love a Jummah Nights series dedicated more to this particular topic. The discussion on nation states and ultranationalism is so important as well as the other things touched on here

Muslims worldwide give charity during Ramadan (most Muslims in indopak subcontinent give their zakat and sdaqat the most in Ramadan) and collectively it becomes more than 300+ billion dollars (this year it was more than my country’s gdp) this Ramadan i was thinking if Imam Al Mahdi (AS) was here, Imam would’ve used most of it for G@za 😭...

Really interesting! I agree with almost everything, except on Iran. You can't simply force people to believe in something and that's the issue I see with hijab in Iran. In the end , it is a personal choice. Of course we would all prefer that all Muslim women used that, but it is nor on any government to enforce it in such a way as if they were criminals. And why to ask for non-Muslim women to wear it too?
Despite that , I tend to agree that we must find a solution for the issue of the occultation of Imam Mahdi (ATFS). I am of the opinion that doing our part and being politically active is really important. Here I agree with you. And also think that we can do our part when it comes to society as a whole too.

Did Allah gave a system of fallible rulers ?

    • @AfterMaghrib

We went through the Hadith showing the importance of fallible rulers in the absence of the infallible ruler. So yes, it is ordained by Allah (swt) in the absence of the Imam to create a system of governance as per the narrations we read.
      Thank you for your comment.

@@azmiali1293 brother/sister, do you need a hadith to proof that appointing or having a university principal is permissible or not? Come on, it's a necessity of a society to have a leader in the absence of the Masoom Imam who leads according to Islamic principles/teachings. How else are we going to lay the platform for the arrival of Imam without having a strong Islamic fortress? Common sense. Unfortunately Shias have been kept weak due to this indoctrination.

@@raheelhussain91 appointment of a principal is not part of deen and not ordered by Allah ! So do appointment of a fallible ruler is not from Allah , rasoollah or imam !
So if someone thinks that it’s something ordered by Allah then it’s biddat !
