My heart stopped beating in 2009 because the Lyme ate my heart, and my soul, away... There's a song entitled, Killing Me Softly (With His Song)... Well, after 59 years of the Best of the Best of music and lyrics, Ren has become the very definition of the meaning of that song for my soul... Rob Thomas (Solo and also with Tabitha's Secret and Matchbox 20) was the very definition for me since 1998... Then I found Ren last March, 2023... My life quite literally changed... I am STILL IN AWE after watching every Ren video at least 100 times or more, then moving on to watching every Hi Ren reaction I found, to watching every Ren reaction... I know every sonf by heart by now! But I SO enjoy watching others' lives change in real time... It's a whole new "high" in a way!! Totally enjoying youd reactions!! ❤ (NO disrespect to Rob Thomas, but Ren... He's just... Different... Special ... I am SO BLESSED!! Much Love! ❤
I remember Ren saying in one of his interviews that his hopes being dashed when seeking help with his medical issues so many times likely was a big cause of his psychosis, so when I think of his being scared of being ok because all things change, I think about those huge disappointments.
She just auditioned on The Voice UK she of course made it through to the Knockouts. So she only did one song. I'm definitely going to follow her journey on there, I hope she wins

I love that Chinchilla is often ever so slightly behind Ren when they sing together. A bit like an echo. Scared of being OK 'cause all things change..... I take this to mean that if you are OK and it is a nice place to be; you risk falling back into the depths and that would be worse than never having been OK to begin with. A bit like the old adage that you don't miss what you have never had. There are some Big Push songs I have seen so far, with dogs in them, which you might enjoy. An Englishman in New York cover; Jumping Jack Flash cover and a Ren busking video which may have been put out by the Brighton busking channel where a dog sits beside his guitar case.
This can hit so many people different. Like I have been disabled and in pain for over 19 years now...I know how to deal with it...I wouldn't know what to do if I woke up feeling okay. I would be in a panic that it would return. Absolutely love your joy in music!!! Had me smiling like a young'un. : )

I have 2 vertibreas that are in a C shape instead of an O, hence my screen name. I'm lucky enough to walk, but it's hard to do much without pain from the hips down. Sometimes when I work on the lawn out front, I wonder if they think I'm Jack Sparrow haha. I have these one second seizures that are like a hiccup but in my brain. The docs subscribed meds and it seems to make so tired. I still have a couple per day. It's better than 30. I joke that sometimes I have my own Crip(ple) Walk
I'm so sorry. I finally had my total knee replacement in both legs, it has been a yr and I can walk again. All that at 55 yrs old. I changed my diet (no sugar, nor fake sugar, no seed oils, no processed foods or refined carbs). The inflammation cleared up from diet alone and was able to get off all pain pills and started exercising again.
Watch them busking Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" at night on the same street he busks with The Big Push. Ren definitely knows how to put together harmonies. "I'm scared of being OK, 'cause all things change", as in they can change back again, like just waiting for the other shoe to drop and you'll feel down again. So what's the point? Too relatable. There are too many layers to the videos. Everything has meaning...the seemingly old hospital files he finds in a basement, while wearing all white, could be a patient, and its the color of chalk. Depression and medication can be a slippery slope to other habits.
