If more minorities had intellectual leaders like this man, we would not be seeing all this insane rioting, violence, theft, and destruction of property. Hard work would replace victimhood, a moral character would be esteemed above color, thankfulness would take the place of discontent and hate.

I learned about this amazing man in school only because my parents put me in a private Christian School in 8th grade. I loved this man’s amazing legacy and proving the true American Dream. God gets all the glory as Booker T. Washington made very clear. He was incredible!

Like the Asians and, Red dot Indians, and Jews. They take care of each other unlike Black's. I can say this because I am black and it is a sad state of affairs.
I sincerely appreciate this video because, like other comments have mentioned, Booker T. Washington and his philosophy aren't studied too deeply in schools. Despite all that he was able to accomplish in his lifetime and the legacy he left behind, he remains, at best, a footnote in history books, only to be read during the month of February. As an educator myself, I can do more for my students, and me personally, by learning more about the man and the life lessons he tried to instill in the black community and society at large. As this video mentions, he probably has even more relevance now than he did during his time.
I just listened to Booker T Washington's book Up From Slavery last week actually! What a beautiful soul! I really admire his outstanding work ethic and his relentless efforts for his cause! I highly recommend it, Prager did an excellent job with a 5 minute summary but there is SO SO much to this wonderful leader.

His autobiography, Up from Slavery, is incredibly inspiring in his choice to be forgiving and overwhelmingly positive in spite of the circumstances he was challenged with and overcame.
When I was in third grade for Black History Month I did a project on Booker T Washington and that’s how I initially learned about him. He’s been overlooked and I’m glad that y’all made this video on him! 🙂
When I was 17 I read "up from slavery" for a school project it absolutely changed my world view, and is one of the books that I am regularly reminded of on a day to day basis, I personally think it should be required reading in the US
...I was raised in a small farm community in northern Missouri that was 98% white in the 60’s (I’m white)...we had teachers who spent a lot of time educating us students on Booker’s life and his work. This was taught in History class, civics class and English class... so I have lived my life knowing and looking up to this man. Thank you teachers...Booker is one of my American hero’s today...

I myself have no enslaved and segregated ancestors because they were East African Somali people who were never captured or kidnapped or sold into slavery because they came from a strong empire. I am the proud son of two East African Somali immigrant parents both my father and my mother plus my paternal uncle which they all successfully immigrated to Australia in the mid 1990s escaping the Somali Civil War which devastated the country. My family and I still live there today. I love Australia because it is so peaceful and relaxing here plus I enjoy my life here in this incredible country. If I was a descendant of an amazingly tough enslaved and segregated ancestors who went through so much suffering I would always honour them plus remember them. I would never disgrace or forget what they had to experience the painful torment of racism. My heart goes out to all the oppressed Black people in the past that had go through the African Tribal Warfare, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Chattel Slavery, the Colonial Wars, the Domestic Slave Trade, the American Civil War, the Ku Klux Klan Racial Terror Lynchings, the Race Riots, Convict Leasing, Jim Crow Segregation, the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment, Redlinings, the Inner City Gang Violence, the War On Drugs, Police Brutality, the Racial Bias in the Criminal Justice System, and Private Prison Abuse. Booker T. Washington is the name sake of my old high school and I celebrate his name. His philosophy was needed during that time. He blindly kept that sentiment even when society showed it was not true. I am more of a WEB Dubois follower but I admire BTW's love for his people and his drive to succeed.
Booker T Washington's philosophy was to take responsibility for yourself and not to blame others for your shortcomings.Not a popular concept for the race hustlers.
Alot of black people look down on him and prop up Dubois who never said anything bad about him. Washington cared about education of blacks as a collective while Dubois wanted more of it for the black elite.
His book Up From Slavery is a great read. Washington from what I can see would not have been popular with the likes of Al Sharpton. Booker T. knew that some blacks did not want racial problems to heal because it was their meal ticket.

There are others I can think of off the top of my head too such as: the Shapiro victimization video, the Jordan Peterson one on indoctrination, the one on the British empire's good, and the one about the media lying about Trump and Charlottesville (they did not).

Just presented Booker T Washington in my poly sci class at university and I was put on the chopping block by my lesbian socialist professor who bashed Booker for being a pragmatist and how my presentation caterer to a “white audience”... Sad I went through that but I’m glad I did. Good job Prager
