My ps4 couldn't handle it, gave up chapter 1. This was the only game i got ps5 launch day and it was well worth waiting 2 years to play
The second is no less fun. I'm on chapter 2 and already I've seen things that I missed during my first playthrough of 120 hours lol. This time around, I'm playing without the mini map to increase immersion. And I'm glad I did. I stumbled on some pretty interesting things by accident.

Yeah, I could say the same about GTA IV! I'm playing it on the Steam Deck and it looks flawless, maybe a building doesn't have insane details, but I switch between a 2023 game to GTA IV and it doesn't phase me.
Let’s just pray they drop another one soon enough but doubt it not for awhile anyway they mainly care for GTA even though I grew up playing GTA & shit even the first red dead when it dropped yonks ago I still prefer rdr for some reason 😂

Its an incredible game. I will admit at first i was a little turned off by how slow it was, but once i relaxed it truly is one of the most believable open world games i have ever played.

Rockstar is just on another level. No other game comes together like a Rockstar single player. There catalog is absolutely legendary. Easily the top game studio. Lots of close seconds, but none done on the scale that Rockstar does.

@@odin6667 An upgrade won't be announced anytime soon, they are only just releasing GTA 5 on next gen and RDR2 hasn't made them as much money as GTA 5 so they have no reason to give RDR2 an upgrade when GTA 5 is coming out. You have a while before anything will be announced, if it happens at all.

@Penguplier No the ps5 only supports 1080p 120hz and 4k 60hz but if you have a hdmi 2.1 supported tv or monitor you could play 4k 120hz. Im not talking about only rdr2 Im talking about general ps5 performence
So with a 4k120Hz television, can I go to 60fps in 4k while in 1080p 120 fps? I mean, practically with a television like that, can I exceed the normal 30fps of the dead 2 network? (not including HDMI 2.1)
@@brandon_rosales.7450 You can play games on ps5 on 4k 120hz if you have a hdmi 2.1 supported tv or monitor and 1080p 120hz too but in rdr2 it's only 4k 30hz and 1080p 60hz and if you enable ray tracing say in cod bocw you could play 4k 60hz

I will say this, with GTA I wasn’t too big on the multiplayer but thought the story had some very high moments. Here I fee the same with online features, but WOW this story is amazing, and the hours upon hours of content created around the atmosphere makes doing main missions and exploring the world just as fun. I didn’t know I’d ever be so impressed with a rockstar game, but I probably would’ve paid up to a couple hundred just for the game itself if rockstar tried pulling it and most games I can’t say that.
I don’t know why Rockstar still hasn’t given us an actual PS5 port of this game. It would be amazing.

Don't mislead people! This game is not 4k rather it is 1920×2160 and the ps5 version runs in the native ps4 pro code..

i cannot believe that the same company who gave us this masterpiece also gave us the GTA trilogy
this is Grove Street Games man, not the Rockstar. No excuses I know. Cause Rockstar has responsibility for their trilogy in any case. But still. Poor awful trilogy - not their work (unfortunately). Thats the good example, when big publisher decided to make some extra money, and does it by the hands of side-studio. Yep... Big loss.
Plus this was Dan Houser’s last game.

I clearly remember those textures, that ripping through models up in the sky and other pathetic glitches. We talking not about simple bugs. Music (a lot of music) deleted from radio. And it’s important thing for atmosphere of each gaming age (80s, 90s). Faces and body models are ridiculous (and sometimes are disgustingly funny) and unreal. And actually glitches not first problem, but let be honest - they are many, that’s why you can see 1hour compilation videos on UA-cam with such a “overreacting” things. Sorry but not sorry. They did broke the game. And now all three games become something wosrt version of themselves. 4K and HighRes textures not the greatest solution to all your problems, if you doing remaster. You need to keep the atmosphere and will try to not ruin your own working product. And Rockstar failed it. They ruined it. Graphics was a problem in 2021. Now we have ridiculous graphics, damaged playlist, AND new glitches. Yeah. That is overreacting, sure. Sorry for long text.

It's blurry on my Samsung 7000 55", even after the HDR patch people talkes about. Seems to be an issue. It's the game, not your tv.
Don't use hdr, I personally do not use it at all.

@@Camps2630 It's not HDR that makes it blurry. 1920x2160 resolution causes image to look blurry.

There is no PS5 version yet. When I launch RDR2 on my PS5 it is listed as PS4 only. No option to switch, we just have to wait for a patch.

Aight, I just finished ghost of tsushima on ps5 and it was absolutely amazing. I don't even enjoy other games anymore. But I have quite alot of games. Also have rdr2 through my plus subscription. Is it worth playing? I mean through videos is not very appealing. It honestly looks boring. Doesn't contain as much action as ghost of tsushima. But I'm willing to try. I felt the same way your feeling way back in 2020. Initially thought it looked boring asf. Not usually a game I would play. Now after completing it I would say it’s easily the greatest game I’ve ever played story wise. It’s truly amazing.
I felt the same way. I actually returned the game on Steam, but later got the game back to give it a shot. The game gets fun once you get past chapter 1. There are several bank and train robberies, shootouts and fights in the game ofc, but it's more focused on the story. I'd say it's worth playing
It gets better as you progress through the game.

Game is 3840x2160 only on PC, Xbox One X and Series X.

The main reason this hasn't had a remaster to next gen consoles is simply because it doesn't need one. You can't improve perfection.

I just got a ps5 and haven’t even played this game yet! Need to grab it I think
I played it before on ps4 and now i playing on ps5. But on ps4 was smoother!
