I just love Korbin... He's doing everything that he hates... Starting from eating textured and spicy food to walking bare foot and eating prasad with hands...It shows what kind of a person you're. And I am sure it's not just because you're in India... I am sure you're like this everywhere. Love you Korbin Singh. 💕

As an American Sikh from Califonia, I rarely get the opportunity to visit India. I always make sure to visit it because in my opinion (heavily biased) it is truly one of the best places in India. I am super glad to see that you guys loved visiting the Golden Temple. I loved the video and thank you for showing it respectfully. There are many Sikh temples (Gurdwara) in California that can also offer serenity and a free meal if you guys are ever interested.
Do you know the UA-camr "Kaur Beauty"?

Korbin doesn't like to eat with his hands
Korbin doesn't like for his bare feet to touch the ground
Korbin doesn't like spicy food
Korbin doesn't like certain food textures
Korbin still steps out of his comfort zone and does all of the above
100% respect to Korbin
@Z Lof course he has a choice for everything listed above...
But if your specifically referring to him following the traditions to enter the Golden Temple... His choice would be to not go in...
@Z Lhuh??? Then what in God's good name did your reply of "well...did he have a choice" mean then? Cuz tryna link that reply to eating with hands and the cronovirus is a pretty big reach
@Z L don't bother replying plz...your logic or lack thereof is making my head hurt
Because he have to make money... Nd also by adding 3 ad's in a video...
It's kinda their job u know...! Respect for them for showing interest in our culture hope it's not fake expression...

Well I think you are talking about a religious place which u are using in a funny way.
You are stupid
@@chrisalexlakra984 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Guys, I believe your Indian friend who was accompanying you in this video was not fully informed about the Golden Temple and Sikhsim. There's no concept of getting your sins washed away by taking a dip in any pond or river, no matter how scared or revered that is.
The holy pond around the Golden Temple is full of sacred water, which Sikhs believe is blessed by the Gurus and the positive vibrations created by the constant singing of hymns from Guru Granth Sahib (the holy scripture) which you would have also heard at Golden Temple and by the positivity and devotion that all the devotees bring along. The water in that holy pond is blessed with healing properties for human body.
It can not and will not wash away one's sins. Sikhism defines the only way to wash away one's sins is by remembering god all the time, doing good righteous deeds and by sharing everything one has with those who need and are underprivileged.
I appreciate that he tried to inform you guys about the place and the culture, but I thought of letting you guys know about what is correct.
Thank you for this info. I always wanted to visit Punjab, Golden Temple, sadly not got a chance till now. But one I will go there
Ya correct...he is explaining wrong..and also about kada prasad..abd putting oil over head...just eat the kada prasad..no complications.!
Very well explained.
I think its about beliefs..many say it washes ur sins and many think otherwise.
There is a book by a japanese guy ( Masaru Emoto ) its called the true power of water . He researched how water crystals after being exposed to positive and nagetive vibes
I agree... I've travelled to a few parts of India. Golden Temple, Amritsar and Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry are two of the most peaceful places in India. (in my opinion) 🙏
Lol! That means you haven't traveled much in India. 😂🤣
India is much bigger, much complicated even to an Indian. Even if you spend your whole lifetime exploring the country you will find something new. 🤞
I hope to discover a lot more places but as of today, these are the two "religious" places that have seemed the most peaceful.
Lotus temple in Delhi is also good. I went there as 12 yrs old and even then I felt peace. I cant forget that experience even after 25 yrs.
@@zaffarali5571 Agreed.

When you eat prashad ( holy food or water) and then touch your head it is like accepting the blessings, in this case of the guru/god.
ankushzap the practices are not different across indic religions
Its not mandatory
NO ONE DOES THAT
No this is not necessary
@Z L Every single person washes his hands and feet before entering the place and then again before entering the food hall (langar hall). That's mandatory.
yes, our Punjabi brothers are the most kindest and The bravest I've ever seen. Their charity is incredible and invincible. I've been there and was honored to experience such a beauty
Is it just about punjabis my friend?
There are multiple charities from multiple religions. Respect to all of them.
Korbin: "Indian naan please" 😂
He said " give me naan please" :)
Spandana I see 😂😂
Korbin loves Punjabi and he also got blended into the surrounding, being Punjabi felt really awesome that they loved it and being Indian is amazing feeling to welcome and respect everyone
The First time I visited Golden Temple was in 2018 and I loved every bit of it. I did seva as well and every bite of langar was so fulfilling and pure blessing. As Rick mentioned if you have just an hour and you want to visit some place in Amritsar it has to be Golden Temple. After my 2018 visit that was for a tour to Amritsar, I have been called by Babaji twice more already in 2019, luckily by other trip's layovers have been in Amritsar and the only place I visited was Golden Temple. You ought to visit it as many times as you get a chance. My last visit was on October and literally I had just an hour before my flight but I was ready to miss my flight but not Golden Temple, luckily I was able to do both. Love Love & Blessings to you both Rick & Korbin. You made me visit it for the 4th time in this video.
Wow..
It's is so amazing and humbling at the same time to see you two Idiots appreciating and respecting our culture and heritage. I also agree to the fact that Golden Temple is one of the very few places where I have experienced utter calmness and serenity while being surrounded by millions of people. All you need to do is just find a place to sit, with your eyes closed and your heart and soul open to be in the presence of the Gurus. You feel blessed the moment you step foot in the premise of this holy place. Wahe Guru Ji Da Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Di Fateh. 🙏🙏

Welcome Vinny Jones
Love you bro

Rick and korbin next time whenever u want to visit Golden then you guys should see this early morning like 4AM , Its looks more beautiful early morning. Looks like you are in heaven. Thanks for Visiting Golden Temple. May waheguru bless you both with good health.
I really want to see Rick and Korbin wear traditional Indian clothes, maybe a kurta or a sherwani or some other ethnic wear
Alex Frost they did that already couple of months ago
Wtf bro sherwani?🤣🤣
@@Darkrider_Adi Sometimes instead of jeans and shirt I like to wear a Sherwani. It is a custom fit and I feel like a better man

@@SSS-fk4lu yes bro I know.. But sherwanis will look good in weddings and ceremonies only.. Not while exploring a city..kurtas will be much suitable for it
Nothing but respect for you guys for embracing the culture & understanding it for what it is. Sikhs are great people with great history & in my opinion Amritsar is one of the best cities in the world
Amazing ♥️ was waiting for this vlog ♥️ But yah I want to tell something..I dnt want to sound rude..also it was your first time visiting the temple...but pls dnt waste food in such amount specially in such places...those people who were taking plates didn't say anything to you guys may be bcz you are foreigners otherwise they dnt take plates with so much food wasted !!! You can ask for less food like the person beside you was asking to give one roti or little amount of rice....The comment is not to hurt you or judge you...as it was the first time of you guys visiting the place..so just trying to inform you ♥️ In India wasting food is almost like disrespecting God,also there are so many who are dying bcz of hunger...Anyway. I hope you guys enjoyed the visit♥️
But How did you know they wasted food ??? They cut the video while whole eating time..that doesnt mean they wasted it.
@@divineknowledgewithkasturi6670 watch it again... when they were handling the plates for washing...korbin's plate was almost full..the person who took plate said nothing...and m here not judging them..just advising them politely..
@@divineknowledgewithkasturi6670 ok I watched it again..but that part is missing when they were handling plates....may be they edited..As many cmntd abt wasting food...
It's beautiful, love this video ❤having lots of memories now.. one thing I can relate to this is.. there are so many people in golden temple but still there's a peace in the atmosphere..have experienced that❤❤
Luvd dem yr... Look at korbin guys he doesnt like anybody to touch his food and eat wid hands but he respected the prasad. i watch all der videos but nevr comnted but today i felt like i should appreciate dem.and the guy is explaining dem very well i really like him❤
Sry my english is not good.. Just want to express
The way ancient temples and shrines are designed in India is to reach out to the peace within. The chaos outside does not disturb the inner peace. This is why u guys felt so much peace and calm in spite of lot of people in the holy place. Good trip so far 👍
Waheguruji ka khalsa, waheguruji ki fateh
Many many thanks and happy life ahead
Now you are also a part of our happy indian family
And just like in every family

I went to the golden temple in may 2019. I was amazed by its atmosphere. And really a big experience too 🙏
I am crying tight now. Left my city 3 months ago to study in canada but this is nostalgic and i really hoped i would have been there with you guys, taking you to explore around my city and ohhhhh i am drooling after seeing the langar😭😭🤭
People here saying that accepting deg(parshad) from someone else's hands is unhygienic... I will say don't comment unless you understand everything.
A gurudwara is the cleanest and the most hygienic place. Volunteers help there 24/7 by moping, scrubbing every single tile.
You can not enter the place without washing your hands and feet.
Right
The guy behind at 11:05 was just happy to be part of the video and kept following for more screen time 😂
Korbin looks punjabi 💓 greetings from a punjabi
Ohhh yes I was waiting for this vidieo golden tempel. I am from punjab india and I feel SOOO SOOOO happy when you come here and express yourself. Thank you so much so much🙏waheguru
I am excited to see your reaction on Jallianwala Bagh.
The logic he shared about why you "bought" prashad at Golden Temple was also incorrect. There's no wealth in this world with which you can buy "prashad" since it is invaluable.
The money you pay there is an offering to the Gurudwara from your side and there's no fixed amount to be paid. You may pay 10 rupees or 1000 rupees, it is totally up to you. And then they take a bit out of what you "bought" as something you're sharing with the universal brotherhood, the humanity.
Satnaam 🙏shri wahe guruji..
Korbin u r looking👍😊 great..
You brought back the memories of our 1st visit to golden temple..💙✌
If you go to the top floor of the golden temple, you can see one of the copy of the Adi Granth placed by the 5th Guru Arjan, which was one of the first holy books that eventually became part of the Guru Grant Sahib!
Really happy for you that you had this experience!!!
Filming here is not ALLOWED 😂
5:22 he is person who helped me not to click even a single picture 😭
MUSIC WORLD you should make them feel that we are appreciating the beauty of Golden Temple or we are Live Chatting with our mother/father/brother and showing it to them in New York😂😂
Filming is allowed.
@@singhjasbeer5216 😂😂
MUSIC WORLD Haha But bro this really works, they shouldn’t feel that you are focussing on yourself, they should feel that the Gurudwara is in focus. Also the fact that filming is allowed like told by Jasmeet above
Abhilash is such a good guide man. Good job. You did great!
hey Rick and Korbin, i don't usually comment on the videos but I want to comment here. I'm Sikh and lives in Punjab. i totally agree with you about what you said that this place has a completely different vibe. you know, whenever I visit Golden Temple I feel this instant peace around me which no other place gives despite the fact that there are hundreds of people around you. and I really don't like crowded places because i feel suffocated there. . but this holy place never feels crowded, no matter how many people are there, and it definitely put a smile on my face that you guys experienced it. and i could say we can never get such level of peacefulness anywhere in the world. the moment we enter Golden Temple, we feels like all the worries and all the bad energies around us just disappeared. One should definitely go there to experience this calmness. there is a second fact, since I'm a Sikh, i have been to many sikh temples over the years and had eaten the food, and I always loved lentil because the taste of this lentil is unique. but it is true that no matter how much you try to cook lentil the same way, you never never never never get that taste at home or even in any restaurant because the food prepared in a Sikh Temple has the blessing of the God as that food is prepared in a holy environment where there is continuous reciting of hymns
Abhilash did such an amazing job explaining things :)
Best observation by Korbin - It’s The Most Peaceful and Most Crowded Place 🙏
Jai waheguriji.
🙏🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍
Happy holi in advance for all 😍🙏
Korbin plz hug that guide from our side..he was so relaxed not in any rush and was explaining everything so nicely..damn i love it..thank you to both spl Korbin receiving the prashad with hands from another person's hand and eating it and keeping the respect of the culture
hey guys, I am glad you all visited the Golden Temple and have the real experience, this is The peaceful place on the planet. truly blessing..I am based in Chicago and Amritsar is my home town, I felt blessed by watch this video....
Thanks lot guys, you are awesome.. 😊
I'm LOVING this guys. Truly, welcome to India. And love, just loads upon loads of love...
Travel through Himachal Pradesh and uttharakhand
Come to nainital guys
Indeed
Yes beautiful mountains and hill stations
Yes good places, like Nainitaal, Mossuri, $ dhams, Hemkunt, Pitoragarh, Nanak Matta. I been to UK 17 times. But find bizmen greedy. You buy even water to drink. Prices are higher side. Only free langar at Sikh gurughars. The paharias do not like it.
Now this is type of person you guys need, to guide you and tell you about different traditions and cultures you are gonna witness. He is so patient and calm
Loved vlog , thanks Rick and Korbin for honouring the traditions. Good to see you wearing those head bands. One thing bothered me was the amount of food wasted. For us food wastage is like dishonoring of God.

You guys should’ve gone inside the kitchen. It’s so amazing and you would’ve been surprised by how many people volunteering everyday to help out!
I travelled the world, doing Seva at Harmandir Sahib was the greatest memory I have to this day
Filming inside the temple's kitchen is prohibited now.
Toh lauda waste humko dikha raha hai
You guys are one of the luckiest people to visit this auspicious place. God invited you.
A very nice vlog of the temple visit. It was truly done peacefully and that comes out in the video. I must also commend your host Abhilash for the low-touch but in his own way very comprehensive way he explained everything and took you through the temple visit and the earlier food tour also. Well done, Abhilash.
Love u guys u guys r soo lovable. Have great time in India. Take back some lovely memories to ur home .❤️❤️🙏🏻
I can assure you... there's no other place on earth ...so much crowded yet so peaceful.... I have visited ONCE and all I was talking about was the peace my heart felt .....
You guys are really blessed to be in Golden temple. Many of Indian couldn't make it. Its by the grace of God to be there.
Hey guys apply Indian Nationality now you know the culture which you have adopted. Keep coming to The Great India again n again I love you my friends.
That’s the beauty of worship places in India. They r crowded yet so peaceful... i visited the golden temple when i was a teenager and loved the place.. the vibe.. the people! 💓
You should've served the food too!! It's an amazing experience
I find it so sweet that Korbin ate the prashad with his hands despite his hang ups against eating sticky stuff with his hands. He just loves to pose as this unbending stuck-up man (aka bearded bas***#.) but he is actually as much of a sweetheart as Rick.
@Z L It is not so much about eating with our hands as much as it is about embracing our culture and traditions even if it goes against his personal preference. I noticed it twice in this video - once when he walked barefoot within the temple premises when he doesn't like stepping on the ground barefoot and the second time was the eating of the Prashad. I only mentioned the latter in my original comment because Korbin's abhorrence of eating with hands is discussed far more on the channel.
I agree that eating with hands or cutlery is a personal preference and also that washing hands before eating is important - it is just that the habit is so ingrained that one doesn't feel the need to tell others to do it.
Anyway wish you a Happy Holi.
Guys you should have come there with a Sikh guy who knows about the faith. That instructions the guy was giving at 6:52 was just cringe!!
yeah i saw that. im 100% sure we sikhs dont do that but i mean god is one so they can praise how ever they want
@Brownie Royal yes i understand but saying that golden temple isnt only for sikhs so im guessing the guide may not have been a sikh
@Brownie Royal i agree with that the guide should have had more knowledge if he was trying to teach them about sikhism. well i hope u have a nice day
Exactly... We do nothing like that
After lockdown finished in India, try visiting South Indian states i.e., Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, etc..., where the taste of Indian spices is at it's best. Just like Amritsar Golden Temple, there are a lot of temples which you won't forget if it's a first-time visit. Guides are recommended, but most people are educated and can speak English. Biryani in Hyderabad, desserts in Andhra, Bisibele Bhath and Masala Dosa from Karnataka, Idly and Sambar from Tamil Nadu, seafood from Kerala are the best options, though you'd better try every cuisine from all these states, which is slightly different to each other. As for offerings in temples, don't forget Tirumala Laddu, which is famous across the globe to those who know about it.
These vlogs need to be longer !! Like way longer !
Korbin is not familiar. May be its occured for him. But he did each thing & respected our culture. You earned my respect mate. And Rick is perfect. I mean say you both are awesome guys. I am impressed by you. Visit again please. Much love from 🇮🇳🙏
